THE GOD EATER

When he thought of how rank 5 cultivators have to get the symbol of authority of a small world, he laughed and said, ’Surely, the world king won’t give up his source of power and let invaders do whatever they want with it. But how is a rank 5 cultivator supposed to match a rank 6 being?’

Then he shook her head and said, ’No wonder that Lady Red immediately reached out to a divine being for help. And she reached out to a divine being of another world completely, so that they won’t be tempted to take her Divine Metac for themselves.’

’She had to get the help of a divine being because only a divine being could help her contend with another rank 6 being. But why will a divine being help a rank 5 become a divine being when they banned the creation of more rank 5 beings?’

As he thought of this, he asked himself, saying, ’Am I to believe that a divine being will be willing to help someone else ascend to their level of power?`

Then he shook his head and said, ’That’s unlikely to happen without a lot of benefits to bribe the divine being.’

’But what does she plan to use to convince the divine being to help her? I should ask her for that information later.’

Lady Red has only reached out to the divine being. The divine being hasn’t replied to her messages, so the divine being might be ignoring her or the divine being might be dead. There was no way to know.

But there was a way to know what Lady Red had in mind to convince the divine being to help her. He plans to ask her that next.

In the meantime, he continued to think about how to become a divine being. So he said to himself, ’At least, creating a divine position is easy. All one needs to do is destroy the small world, rip out its heart, and take the complete living heart back to the Blessed Heaven World.’

’Once the living heart of a world arrives in this world, the Blessed Heaven World will accept it. When the living heart is being accepted and absorbed by the world, the Divine Metac connected to the living world heart through the symbol of authority will be pulled up by the Blessed Heaven World, which will in turn make the rank 5 cultivator ascend into the sky as a divine being.’

’This ascension will be witnessed by the world because the Blessed Heaven World will celebrate and announce the addition of a new divine position and the strengthening of the world. That’s how a new divine being and divine position are created.’

As he thought of this, he remembered the sight of the angel he saw five years after his awakening.

This made him say, ’What was her name again? Wasn’t it Monarch Winter Sword?’

’According to Lady Red, the world will announce the ascension of a divine being, but it won’t celebrate it unless the divine being ascended by creating a new divine position. So that Monarch Winter Sword probably created a new divine position. That’s impressive.’

He had thought that her ascension was impressive the first time he saw it. But now that he knew how much she had to get done to create a new divine position, his admiration for her achievement has increased further.

After all, even though it is difficult to take up a divine position, it is possible to do so alone with one’s power. But creating a new divine position sounds impossible without the help of another divine being.

So even though it was highly likely that she didn’t achieve her ascension with her own power, her achievement has only gotten more impressive because she managed to get someone stronger than her to help her.

After appreciating her achievement, he tsked and said, ’Defeating a world king and the resistance of a whole world to create a Divine Metac isn’t something that a rank 5 cultivator can do. But if they can accomplish this, then creating a divine position will be the easy part.’

’The only problem is if they fail to ascend after doing all of that work. Then they would have done all of that work just for someone else to enjoy it.’

According to common sense, someone who can create a new divine position that can accommodate a divine being should not fail in withstanding the process of transforming into a divine being. He has seen such a seamless breakthrough himself, so he can confirm this.

But according to Lady Red, failure or success might not be up to the person ascending. Just like a divine being can help them create a divine position, so can another divine being interfere in their breakthrough for one reason or another.

This thought made him shake his head in wonder. As he did so, a glowing mark had appeared on his forehead.

The glowing mark was shining with bright, multicolored light. This signified that the fusion was nearly done.

Since he still had some time on his hands, he grabbed Lady Red’s head and searched her mind again. This time, he searched for information about the power of divine beings.

He wanted to know how powerful divine beings were so that he could determine if he could take on a small world and a world king on his own. Unfortunately, Lady Red didn’t know much about the power of divine beings.

He learned some things about the power of divine beings, but it wasn’t as much as he wanted. This made him take his hand away from her head in disappointment.

After he stopped searching her mind, he said to himself, ’She only knows that the foundation of the power of a divine being is their cave heavens and Life Fire.’

Then his eyes began to shine as he said, ’So that golden flame on their head is called a Life Fire.”
