THE GOD EATER

He had hidden the colorful mark on his forehead with his second skin, so these rank 4 cultivators thought that they stood a chance against him.

This lack of information about his true cultivation caused another type of massacre to ensue, in which the people who didn’t need to die and could have remained safe wherever they were, came to him to kill them.

After he killed the rank 4 cultivators, some rank 5 cultivator laps began to show up. There weren’t many, though. 11 rank 4 cultivators had shown up to stop him, but only 2 rank 5 cultivators came to rescue people or stop him.

He didn’t hold back just because they were rank 5 cultivators. As soon as they appeared, he turned his guns to them and opened fire.

One of them threatened him, saying, “You will regret this if you continue. You’d better stop now for your sake and mine, or you will offend someone you can’t afford to offend.”

The other rank 5 cultivator said with a sneer, “Don’t you know that this city is one of the properties of the Thorn House of Commerce? It seems you’re ignorant of what will kill you.”

But Loki didn’t care, and he didn’t listen. Once he started shooting, he didn’t stop shooting until the target had become riddled with holes.

The two rank 5 cultivators were not spared from the rain of bullets from his guns that fell on them. In just a few seconds, the two of them were eviscerated. So all of their posturing and threats hadn’t done them any good.

He didn’t care that his actions were offending many people or a certain chamber of commerce, and he wouldn’t have cared about more people appearing to stop him if not for the fact that one of the people who came to stop him after killing the two rank 5 cultivators was someone capable of tearing through space to appear nearby.

The person who came had a golden flame burning on their head. They were also golden from head to toe. It was as if they were made of money.

Even their eyes were completely golden. There was no white or black in their eyes at all. The whole thing was one golden ball. So the divine being appeared to have been sculpted from pure gold.

The man was also wearing golden robes. The robe was large and regal, and it flapped around in the wind. Loki thought that it was an extravagant robe because it was studded with gems of various sizes.

Aside from the gem-studded robe, the divine being wasn’t wearing anything else. Loki could tell because the robe wasn’t tightened at all, and the wind was making it flap.

As the robes flapped, what was underneath them became exposed to him. So he could see that the divine being was naked underneath the robe.

What he found amusing about this was that the divine being didn’t seem to care that he was exposed. If Loki had to guess, he might guess that the robes were mainly to make a statement about wealth.

He didn’t think that the extravagant robe was worn for decency or to cover up his nakedness. He was inclined to believe this since the divine being appeared to be a money cultivator, and the divine being didn’t seem to care about tightening the robes to cover his crotch.

After examining the divine, he spared some attention to the mode of transportation of the divine being. So his eyes glanced at the tear in space.

The hole they tore in space was dark, and nothing could be seen through it. The divine being stepped out of this hole like it was a door and immediately fixated their gaze on him.

As they stared at him, the hole in space behind them closed with a snap. It was as if it were the opening of a steel trap closing on itself, not a door. The hole created a thunderclap as it snapped shut on itself.

What followed after the booming thunder of the hole closing was silence. This was because Loki had stopped shooting and had immediately focused all of his attention on the divine being.

If not for the fact that Fenrir didn’t care about the appearance of the divine being and was still rushing about to eat everyone and everything, the people below in the city would have also stopped whatever they were doing to pay attention to the divine being.

Unfortunately for them, Fenrir was fearless and rampant, so they had to continue running for their lives. Some of them did so while shouting, so the city was still as rowdy as ever. Only the situation in the sky was saturated with an atmosphere of silence.

Loki didn’t know what to say when a divine being suddenly appeared and locked onto him with an angry gaze. He didn’t know if he should ask what they came for or to apologize for what he had done, so he remained silent and stared at them, waiting to see what they would do or say.

As it turned out, this divine being didn’t have anything to say to him. They didn’t speak and immediately attacked him.

The shadow of a landmass appeared behind and above their head. This shadow was a massive object that grew bigger as it approached Loki.

The divine being had thrown the shadow at Loki, which was why it was approaching him. Then they watched and did nothing. It was clear that they thought that this singular action would be enough to capture or kill him.

When Loki saw this, he said to himself, ’Let me guess. This should be one of the people that I was warned that I couldn’t afford to offend. It looks like I went too far.’

After he said this, he didn’t hesitate anymore and immediately committed suicide. Once his Mental World detached from his body, it fled into the River of Time.
