Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 476: Another domain? Is there cat girls?

”Another domain, you say?” Grey inquired curiously.

”Yes, another domain. I was quite surprised by it as well. But they are real, and they are incredibly powerful. Now, all the alliances we hold with the alien races are joining forces to face them.”

”Speaking of alliances, exactly which races are we allied with?” Grey asked.

”We are allied with the Elves, the Dwarves, the Werewolves, and the Demi-Humans, which boast a massive variety of sub-races. There is also the Sea Clan that resides within divine water celestial bodies. They seldom make public appearances, but we remain very good friends with them.”

”Demi-humans... like cat girls?” Grey blinked. ”Why are they not considered a direct part of the Human Alliance? Was the founder of the alliance not a half-mecha being himself?”

”The Demi-Humans were historically frowned upon before our founder ascended to power. Hence, they always maintained a separate alliance even long before the Pan-Cosmic Human Alliance was formed. Right now, their faction is just as prosperous as our own.”

”So there really are cat girls,” Grey mumbled.

”...” What was with this guy and cat girls?

But on the other hand, he did seem like a perfectly healthy young man, so having these thoughts was not particularly wrong.

Grey wore a thoughtful expression. He briefly imagined both Valeria and Lia in cat girl outfits before swiftly dismissing the dangerous thoughts.

”Let us get back to the main topic. What sort of evolutionary paths do these new enemies possess?”

The ancestors exchanged serious glances before replying. ”There is only one path in that domain from what we have gathered, and it is known as the Origin Body Evolutionary Path.”

”It is a profound system. Something entirely unseen in our part of the cosmos.”

”They heavily rely on their physical vessels. They forge bodies as massive as stars, achieving this through a phenomenon known as Gene Optimization. In place of a traditional elixir field or mana core, they possess a pool of Gene Optimization Fluid. This fluid forces their physical forms to expand exponentially, granting them unfathomable genetic power.”

”Once they reach the 5th Rank, they become beings as large as an entire planet. This stage is commonly called the Planetary State. Then comes the Star State, Multi-Star State, Star Lord State, Galaxy King State, Galaxy Nova State, and finally the Universal State.”

”The first three stages signify the 5th Rank. A Star Lord signifies a 6th Ranker. A Galaxy King stands at the 7th rank, Galaxy Nova state at the peak of 7th rank, and the Universal State belongs to the 8th Rank.”

”They measure their raw power based strictly on their physical body size. For example, a Multi-Star State evolver boasts a body measuring one full light-year across. A Galaxy King scales up to an incomprehensible one hundred thousand light-years.”

”Interesting.” Grey was genuinely amazed by this revelation. This Origin Body Evolutionary Path was even more insane than he expected.

”Speaking of which, what are the exact titles for the 6th, 7th, and 8th Ranks of the Immortal Path? You follow the Immortal Path, do you not, Senior?” Grey asked, glancing at the Yellow Ancestor. He knew the old man and his wife both followed that exact cultivation route.

”Yep.”

”You might already know this, but starting at the 6th Rank, there is no definitive, universal method for breaking through or advancing.”

”Up until the 5th Rank, progression is fully encoded and guided by the Origin Will. But that safety net ends the moment you fully anchor yourself to the universe, otherwise known as achieving the First Transcendence. From this point onward, the path becomes entirely unique for every single individual.”

”Because it is no longer under the strict control of the Origin Will’s hidden evolutionary rules, the cultivation journey branches out infinitely. Hence, the umbrella term is simply called the 6th Rank.”

”Then what does it specifically look like for the Immortal Path?”

”They utilize their Mahayana Essence,” the Yellow Ancestor explained with a small smile. ”I am an immortal cultivator myself. My current 8th Rank stage is known as the Immortal Seed Realm. After this comes the Heaven Trampling Realm, where a cultivator’s mere passive existence fundamentally disrupts the fabric of reality.”

”As for the lower tiers, the 6th Rank is officially called the Mahayana Realm, and the 7th Rank is the Immortal Fire Realm.”

”At the Mahayana Realm, an expert uses the Mahayana Essence cultivated inside their inner immortal grotto to form a Cosmos Spiritual Spark. This spark functions exactly like a miniature dying star trapped deep within their soul. To progress, one must gather the spiritual essence of heaven and earth by intentionally collapsing this internal star. They shatter their physical and spiritual limits by surviving a localized supernova inside their own body, pushing them to the Great Circle stage. From there, they must ignite those shattered remnants into a Heavenly Fire that burns away the karma and causality of their past, using their mortal history as pure kindling. This flame is then infused with the Heavenly Dao’s essence. By the 7th Rank, they can permanently alter the laws of a world simply by speaking a new concept into reality.”

”As for the Immortal Seed... you will know when you eventually reach that level,” the Yellow Ancestor said with a chuckle. ”The 8th Rank operates on a completely different cosmic scale.”

While they were on the topic of transcendent powers, Grey asked about the Martial Path as well.

”To reach the 6th Rank, known as the Incarnation Realm, a martial artist must subject their inner core to immense metaphysical pressure,” the Yellow Ancestor elaborated. ”They forcefully erupt their Boundary Core, weaving the escaping True Energy and their bound martial law into a Conceptual Vessel. They usually take on the appearance of the specific weapon they have been cultivating until now, forming a transcendental weapon essence that they can manifest to strike down their enemies.”

”At the 7th Rank, the Sovereign Martial Realm, they must detonate that Conceptual Vessel. They scatter their martial weapon form directly into the Heavenly Dao, fusing their personal will with the overarching laws of the universe. In essence, they become a living martial weapon of the heavens. They no longer fight with mere physical techniques. They fight using Dictates. A 7th Rank martial artist can strike abstract concepts rather than physical objects. They can crush the very concept of distance to cross galaxies instantaneously at their peak, and they become entirely tethered to their chosen law, making them nearly impossible to truly kill.”
