Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 467: Sainthood, Nexus Source, Source Magic

”Sainthood?” Juli and Miwa stared at the massive energy storm violently swirling around Grey in pure dumbfoundment.

They simply could not believe what their eyes were showing them. Sainthood. There was no higher cosmic status under the heavens than that. A Saintly Phenomenon was strictly triggered only when an entity became a true, full Saint.

Across the vast starry sky, there were many Half-Saints, but almost no one had successfully taken that final, grueling step to reach full Sainthood even after the 6th Rank. Taking that step was infinitely harder than mortal comprehension. Otherwise, there would be thousands of Saints roaming the universe by now.

Achieving Half-Sainthood was not exceptionally rare. Some used bizarre, bloody rituals to forcefully achieve it, while others reached it naturally through time. But those who actually managed to awaken true, full Sainthood could be counted on a single hand. This was the absolute cosmic threshold.

And now, a young being vastly younger than all the Half-Saints combined had successfully achieved it.

Countless hidden experts across the starry sky looked up at Grey’s projected figure with fervent eyes. Treating him as some sort of newly born god, they knelt to the ground in pure, unadulterated faith.

It was not just the experts. Ordinary beings and trillions of citizens on other planets witnessing this cumulative cosmic vision spanning across the universe could only treat him as a literal deity. Who else could possibly manifest a miracle like this?

”So he has finally achieved it. Sainthood.” Azathoth and Tian Yuan squinted their eyes sharply as they observed Grey.

As they were right now, they physically could not move an inch. The descending Heavenly Dao was actively suppressing both of their avatars.

It was also actively masking Grey’s true Nexus energy. The terrifying fact that Grey possessed the energy of absolute perfection absolutely could not be revealed to either of them. If that supreme secret was exposed, then both monsters would immediately descend upon the Origin Planet with their real, universe-ending bodies. And if that happened, it would be the definitive end of this world.

The two grand elders of the Arclight family stared at the blazing Saintly power in front of them in sheer fright. They could not believe what they were seeing. This so-called useless junior they had completely disregarded and neglected was actually a peerless Saint?

When he first arrived, no one came to give him a warm welcome to the main family. Everyone, without fail, gave him the freezing cold shoulder. They did not even bother to speak with him, treating his existence as nothing but empty air.

But who were the real, pathetic fools in the end? It was them!

He was a legendary Saint. A transcendent being who knew the Abyssal God’s forbidden name, and someone who could stand side by side with the two divine monsters that could erase this world with a simple snap of their fingers!

And most importantly, he had just begun his evolution journey less than a single year ago!

By now, they heavily doubted they could ever patch up the burned bridges. Perhaps he never even put them in his eyes to begin with. He had achieved so much in such a microscopic fraction of time that absolutely no one could compare to him. Not even the absolute top geniuses of reality itself.

As the supreme Saintly Halos violently revolved, a hidden truth was fully realized.

He was no ordinary Saint. He was a Nexus Saint. A Saint strictly not bound to the Heavenly Dao, but directly to the Summit of Nexus.

The fundamental difference here was that everything he did would become a literal form of perfection. That was the absolute blessing he received as the sole Saint of Nexus. But that was not what he had in his mind right now. It was officially taking the heavy step into the 5th Rank.

The specific fact that his physical body had completely disintegrated was the final, undeniable proof that he had successfully undergone metamorphosis. Right now, he existed as nothing but his pure soul, held firmly together by the power of his metamorphosis and his glowing Saintly Halos.

What he needed to do next was simple. He had to transfer everything that made him Grey into pure cosmic frequencies, then gently merge that anchor with his soul and frequential data to officially form his First Source.

That was the crucial first step.

Without a single moment of hesitation, he began the delicate process. The world began to spin violently as he activated Sovereign Ontological Override. The dense Origin Power currently being poured directly into his soul by the Fragment would act as a vital buffer, allowing him to safely achieve the Event Horizon state.

Thankfully, the Origin Planet was inherently strong enough to withstand the passive pressure of a 7th Ranker. It would not crumble from his awakening powers. With that confirmed, he fully triggered the technique. Blinding light flickered from all directions as the highly mysterious method began to do its profound work.

Whoosh! His bare soul began to change and twist as a terrifying suction force slowly formed in the sky.

Whrmm! Reality bent and collapsed inwardly as the local space and time around Grey distorted rapidly. The Event Horizon state was successfully achieved!

Grey waited no more. He ruthlessly poured all the accumulated data stored within his mental server straight into the swirling Event Horizon.

Boom! The Information Layer energy perfectly combined with his raw data energy, blasting straight through the dimensional barrier between it and this world, shooting directly into the Event Horizon.

The stunned spectators outside only saw massive waves of purple energy rolling violently around Grey. Abruptly, everyone began to hear a sharp, deafening buzzing in their ears.

”Hm? What is this?” Azathoth’s interest was highly piqued.

Tian Yuan, on the other hand, wore a thoroughly stunned expression. ”Information Layer currents and frequency?”

”This...” He seemed to have instantly realized something incredibly important. He was genuinely shocked this time.

Soon, all the dense data stored in his server was fully pushed into the Event Horizon. In the following moment, it began to rapidly eject pure radiation. Cosmic radiation, which was the ultimate, unfiltered form of frequency.

However, the exact instant this lethal cosmic radiation was unleashed onto Grey’s soul, his Nexus Sainthood violently acted up. The supreme power of perfection was directly unleashed upon the radiation. It underwent a rapid, flawless transformation, successfully reaching the Nexus state.

Boom!

A terrifying shockwave erupted from Grey’s position. The heavily reinforced stadium began to violently crack under the crushing pressure. Those who were at the 5th Rank or below were directly swept away by the gale. But the descending Heavenly Dao swiftly acted, creating a soft, invisible barrier to save the mortals from being erased.

”Impossible. The Origin Stadium is breaking?” The Grand Arbiter watching this apocalyptic scene had a deeply grim look on his face. He simply could not believe what his eyes were showing him right now.

Whrmm!

Pure frequency began to glitch flawlessly into his waiting soul. In the following moment, a true Source was officially born.

Boom! The newly formed Source took on the absolute, perfect shape of the Golden Ratio without fail.

But the process was not done yet. Two structural Source Meridians rapidly formed directly inside the Source. These firm structures perfectly maintained the conceptual integrity of the Golden Ratio.

All the frequential powers and laws he had comprehended until now slowly flowed directly into his Source, smoothly sublimating it to a whole new level alongside the pure Nexus energy.

With this crucial foundation done, it was time for the next step!

During the past few days he spent meditating and finalizing his evolutionary path, he had made heavy adjustments. This specific adjustment was deeply related to the Dao of Power. He had already contracted it and fully established his unique path.

He called this first realm of the 5th Rank the Nexus Source Realm.

Six Cosmic Meridians. Those were exactly what he extrapolated from the Chaos Source Codex. Forming a perfect Nexus Cell inside every single one of them was his ultimate task for this first realm of the 5th Rank.

Six individual cells for each sub-rank. The conceptual cells functioned exactly like normal biological cells. He absolutely had to compress all his boundless frequency into a single, microscopic cell.

Dense frequential energy gathered around Grey rapidly as it condensed and poured violently into the very first Cosmic Meridian. With his boundless soul power, he took strict control over it and began to ruthlessly hammer it with his will. It was highly similar to the art of blacksmithing. He had to violently hammer the energy, condense it, and compress it to an absolute microscopic point where it physically turned into a Nexus Cell!

Once a true Nexus Cell was fully formed, boundless physical power would immediately emerge!

Boom! Boom! Boom! He struck the gathered frequency fiercely. He used the raw Origin Power to ruthlessly compress the frequential mass. With one final, perfect blow, a glowing Nexus Cell was successfully born inside the first meridian.

The very first Nexus Cell was born! He had officially stepped into the first level of the Nexus Source Realm.

But it wasn’t just over yet....

Grey suddenly frowned, he felt a new gate to a certain part of the information layer opening up to him.

Information poured down into his mind.
