Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 233: Chapter 230 Sister’s Husband is Too Awesome

Beef Noodle Restaurant.

A square table, with someone sitting at each of its four corners, three servings of beef noodles with egg were steaming hot as they were served.

An Ping picked up his chopsticks, his hand still trembling a bit, as the scene he had just witnessed was too thrilling.

If it weren’t for Qin Jian arriving in time, his arm might have been chopped off.

In the moment that he saved him, Qin Jian’s arm got slashed by a knife, and blood immediately gushed out.

But, he didn’t even blink, fighting more than a dozen men by himself. Before another battalion commander beside him could act, Qin Jian had taken them all down with swift and decisive moves!

If Qin Jian had arrived just one second earlier, his arm definitely wouldn’t have been sliced, it was purely an injury taken while saving An Ping.

Seeing An Ping’s trembling hands, Qin Jian knew he was still shaken up. He gestured to the shop owner and said, ”Bring a bottle of ’Erguotou’.”

”Alright!” The owner brought the liquor over and placed a few cups on the table.

Qin Jian poured a small amount for An Ping and handed it to him, ”For the shock! Drink up and your hand will feel better!”

An Ping took the cup hesitantly, glanced at An Hao, and after seeing her nod, he downed it in one go.

The fiery liquor scorched its way down his throat, like a blaze igniting.

However, not long after drinking, An Ping truly calmed down, and as his courage returned, so did his chattiness, ”Sister, we really owe it to Brother-in-law just now. You have no idea, Brother-in-law is incredible! Fighting more than ten guys by himself, his moves were so graceful!”

”An Ping! What are you rambling about?” An Hao’s face turned red as soon as she heard him say that again.

She had protested about it before!

Complaining about why she had to choose a man so much older than her when there were so many other men out there.

And now, in a blink of an eye, he’s ”Brother-in-law”? That’s just the total opposite attitude! Could the difference be any bigger?!

”I’m calling him Brother-in-law! Sister, it’s hard to find a good man like Brother-in-law! You should hurry and seize the opportunity to set things in stone,” An Ping’s attitude took a complete 360-degree turn.

The fight he had just witnessed really made him see Qin Jian in a new light.

In an instant, the heart of a young man was thoroughly ”conquered”!

Liu Xiaolian was slurping his beef noodles voraciously, his crafty eyes taking in the scene. Noticing An Hao’s flushed cheeks, he immediately understood her feelings.

He chuckled slyly and chimed in, ”Sister An Hao, Battalion Commander Qin is the Brother-in-law in my mind too! And you two really look like a great match! Truly!”

An Hao didn’t know where to look, her eyes meeting Qin Jian’s in the air, and seeing the amusement in his eyes, she became so shy she could barely lift her head.

In her past life, her romantic experiences were nonexistent. Although she had lived a second life, faced with this kind of situation, she always didn’t know how to react.

”Enough. Let’s eat! The noodles won’t block your mouths!” An Hao feigned anger, and that shut the two little troublemakers up.

Seeing that An Hao seemed to be genuinely upset, An Ping stopped teasing her.

He picked up his cup boldly and addressed Qin Jian, ”Future Brother-in-law, I salute you for being a real man! My sister likes you too, and I hope you can become my Brother-in-law! If you’re also willing to continue being with my sister, then you should drink this cup too!”
