Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1336: Qi Qingxiu - Morgana - Oz

”The witch demon race and the celestial demon race are mortal enemies.” Qi Qingxiu’s answer shocked Oz the First and Morgana. ”The number of the witch demon race in the realm was once large, but the ancestors of the celestial demon race slaughtered most of them. Not to mention, their birth rate is very low, and they have the shortest lifespan of all demon races, causing their numbers to continue to decline every year. I don’t know their exact number, but I estimate that there are no more than a hundred of them.”

”That small?”

”Yes.” Qi Qingxiu nodded at Morgana. ”That’s why I was surprised to see you two married, but it turns out you don’t know anything about the history between the two demon races. By the way, you should not leave this sect as long as your cultivation is still at this level; otherwise, you will die.”

Morgana took a deep breath and firmly nodded. ”Are you the location of one of them?”

”If I recall correctly, Wu Zu lives in the Nightshade Domain, and she is the strongest among the witch demons.” Morgana looked delighted to hear that, but Qi Qingxiu immediately warned her. ”Forget your desire to meet her because she will never be willing to meet you or help you.”

”Why?”

Qi Qingxiu sighed softly, feeling that Morgana was too clueless. ”Wu Zu was born during the era of the witch race’s downfall, and she had no one to rely on. She struggled herself to stay alive because the celestial demon race kept hunting down her remaining race, and she had to live in hiding to avoid being hunted by them. Worse yet, some of her kin betrayed her because of their jealousy of her talent, which almost led to her death. Since then, she has never trusted anyone, including her race members. She distanced herself from them and cut off all contact with them, so there’s no point in you seeing her.”

”I see.” Morgana nodded in understanding. ”Do you know the other witch demons?”

”I’m not sure where they live now.” Qi Qingxiu thought about it for a while before continuing. ”If my guess is correct, they’re probably living in the Endless Domain now, especially since that domain is the safest for non-demon fighters like them. In fact, there are many demon races living in that domain, including the lust demon race.”

”The lust demon race can be categorized as fighting demons, but why did they choose to live in that domain?”

Qi Qingxiu shook her head slightly. ”Actually, Xie Yao and Xie Yan are quite powerful, and their abilities are truly troublesome, even for me. Moreover, they are demon gods of their race, so I don’t know their reasons for choosing to stay in the Endless Domain. Instead of going to see Wu Zu, you can ask Zhang Fei to help you go to that domain and look for the other witch demons, but you should never trust them because they aren’t trustworthy, and they only care about their benefits.”

”I understand.”

Qi Qingxiu then looked at another demon. ”An abyssal rift demon, huh? How did she get here?”

”Her name is Ju Yingzhi, and Zhang Fei met her in the Nine Stars Realm years ago. Back then, she was seriously injured due to an enemy attack, and he offered her to become his subordinate in exchange for healing her.” Qi Qingxiu then pointed to several other female demons, prompting Morgana to explain. ”Xin Yanluo is Ju Yingzhi’s servant, and she follows her master’s decisions. The woman in thin clothes is Qian Ying, and she used to be an ordinary human, but a demon kidnapped her and transformed her into a demon. The woman next to her was Ximen Yueliang, the former princess of the Ximen Demon Kingdom in the Nine Stars Realm.”

”Zhang Fei still had many other demons under his command, but he left them in the Three Mortal Realms because they were ordinary demons.” Oz the First added.

Among the four female demons, the Seven Emotions Demon God was only interested in Ju Yingzhi, primarily because of her abilities as an abyssal rift demon. Unfortunately, she was still too young and too weak, but her presence gave Qi Qingxiu some ideas. ”How many female demons are on Zhang Fei’s side now?”

”Around 38.”

”Tch! What a lustful demon!” Qi Qingxiu cursed irritably, especially since Zhang Fei had repeatedly taken her into dreams and done indecent things to her.

”Haha.” Morgana chuckled at that. ”Senior, Zhang Fei is a lust demon monarch, so it is natural that he is too lustful, and he became even more lustful after inheriting Hu Tianlang’s lustful soul.”

Qi Qingxiu simply nodded and spoke to Oz the First again. ”I don’t know if you’ve found the key to the seal, but you shouldn’t be afraid to open it.”

”We already have the key, Senior,” Qi Qingxiu responded to Oz the First with a raised eyebrow. ”Honestly, I feel an incredible closeness to the black shadow, but I’ve always been afraid to open the seal. I don’t remember anything about it, and I’m afraid it will turn me into another person.”

”The black shadow won’t affect your character because it’s a part of you, and whatever memories it holds will be yours. Once Zhang Fei comes out of his seclusion, you should discuss this matter with him because it will bring you many benefits.” Oz the First himself had long wanted to open the seal, but many other things prevented him from doing so. ”If you’re afraid of bringing disaster to him and this sect, you can open the seal in my domain. However, I’m sure that you have a connection with Mo Shentian, either directly or indirectly. If that’s true, you won’t be able to return to this sect again because that bastard will definitely find you here, so you and your wife will have to find another place to live.”

After hearing all that, Oz the First felt even more conflicted, and Morgana asked Qi Qingxiu. ”Do you know any suitable places for us, Senior?”

”Yes.” Qi Qingxiu immediately told them. ”Your first choice is the Endless Domain, where you will be safe, particularly due to the presence of endless illusions. However, some demon races in that area dislike the celestial demon race, particularly the witch race. Your second choice is the Wailing Soul Forest, and I think you won’t have any problems staying there since Zhang Fei is Nalan Shizhe’s son-in-law. Additionally, you can use the wandering evil souls there to strengthen yourselves.”

Morgan looked directly at her husband. ”Zhang Fei once took us to the Wailing Soul Forest to absorb those phantom soul lotuses, so I think that place is our best choice rather than us going to the Endless Domain.”

”We’ll stay in that forest if we can’t return to this sect.” Oz the First looked and spoke to Qi Qingxiu. ”Thank you for all your information, Senior.”

”Don’t mind it.” Qi Qingxiu turned to leave. ”I will go to the Celestial Yin Lake and wait there until Zhang Fei returns, and you can find me there if you have any other questions for me.”

Morgana smiled as she watched Qi Qingxiu leave. ”It seems she’s already starting to fall for Zhang Fei, and she might fall for him completely soon.”

”Yeah.”

After taking a large amount of materials from the Liao Clan, Liao Hanxue and Duanmu Luolan immediately returned to the Moonlit Passion Temple. They hurriedly set up the formations they had prepared in advance in several areas of the sect, which had a significant impact on the residents.

Since they had stayed at the Moonlit Passion Temple for two days and witnessed many things in the sect firsthand, Qiao Yisheng decided to take his wife back to the Qiao Clan in the Sky Pillar Domain to discuss everything with their clan members.

Upon arriving at their domain, Qiao Yisheng asked his wife, Tang Qingyan, to return to her Tang Clan and persuade them to join Zhang Fei.

You Ran and Tan Yunxi also decided to return to the You Clan. Since they had already decided to join Zhang Fei, they selected two members of their clan to become their liaison with the Moonlit Passion Sect. However, they were surprised by You Feng’s decision to go to the sect, and he did it for the sake of his son, You Shiyan.

You Ran and Tan Yunxi did not stop You Feng from going to the Moonlit Passion Sect, and they asked him to bring their two clan members to the sect.

Meanwhile, Liao Shengye and Bai Yueqin decided to stay at the Moonlit Passion Sect, as they still had many things to discuss with Gong Ren and Cheng Gaoji in building the one-way teleportation portal that Zhang Fei wanted.

News of the You, Qiao, and Liao Clans joining the Moonlit Passion Sect reached the ears of the people from the Fei and Zhi Clans.

Fei Tianluo was eager to join the Moonlit Passion Sect, but Fei Lianhe and Mu Hanyan opposed his decision because of their conflict with Zhang Fei two days ago, which resulted in a deleterious outcome for their eldest son.

From the Zhi Clan, Zhi Yongbo decided to go alone to the Moonlit Passion Sect, but Serpentera and Tian Kui did not allow him to enter the sect according to Zhang Fei’s orders. They asked him to wait for their master to come out of his seclusion, forcing him to return in disappointment.
