Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1240: Mo Shentian’s Decision

”Fairy King, I never like to interfere in the affairs of other races, but we both know your past deeds, so you don’t need to pretend to be innocent in front of me, right?” Long Wuzhao turned to Long Xukong, who immediately enveloped Jia Lingzhu and Jia Shengyun with his void element and threw them into the void, causing Jia Zizhen to frown. ”For now, the two of them are under my protection, and if you cannot accept my decision, you can come to me in my palace, and I will be happy to welcome you.”

After saying this, Long Wuzhao returned to the void, followed by Long Xukong, who immediately closed it.

*Boom*

Jia Zizhen’s aura immediately exploded, and his expression was full of anger, making all his subordinates frightened, except for Jia Fengli.

When Jia Zizhen threatened Jia Lingzhu and Jia Shengyun before, Jia Fengli immediately contacted his master, and Zhang Fei contacted Long Wuzhao, asking for his help to save Jia Yuyan’s grandparents from the fairy king.

”That dragon bastard! How dare he interfere in my personal affairs and threaten me!” Jia Zizhen shouted angrily before ordering his subordinates. ”Search all domains for me and find Jia Yuyan immediately! If anyone dares to obstruct you, you can kill them!”

”Yes, Emperor.” All of them immediately left the scene, but not all of them considered following Jia Zizhen’s orders due to past rumors of his actions. Long Wuzhao’s previous words convinced them that their emperor had indeed done bad things in the past, especially towards his predecessors.

*Bam*

”Damn it! What exactly happened? How did that bastard dragon know the situation here? Could he have planted his spies without my knowledge? Who betrayed me and chose to be his spy? I never detected the presence of other races in my domain, so I’m sure the traitor is among my subordinates.” Jia Zizhen’s forehead veins protruded from beneath his skin as he was extremely furious. ”Tch! I have to contact Mo Shentian and Jiu Mozu to discuss this matter with them, or things will get dire for me if that bastard dragon interferes further in my affairs.”

Jia Zizhen stepped down from his throne and left the place, unaware that Long Wuzhao and Long Xukong were still there and eavesdropping on him through the void.

A while later, Long Xukong took Long Wuzhao and the other two out of the void, and they had already arrived at the dragon palace in the Dragon-Soaring Divine Domain. ”Brother Wuzhao.”

”Yes.” Long Wuzhao nodded to Long Xukong. ”Zhang Fei previously suspected that Jia Zizhen was in cahoots with Jiu Mozu, but it turns out he was also in cahoots with Mo Shentian. Back then, I was sure that he killed the previous Fairy King, but he couldn’t have done it by himself due to the disparity in their strengths. However, the story is different if the two demon gods helped him and ganged up on his predecessor, as their combined strength surpassed that of his predecessor.”

Long Xukong nodded in agreement. ”So, what should we do? Are we going to make a move against Jia Zizhen?”

”No need.” Long Wuzhao dismissed his idea. ”Even if we already know that Jia Zizhen is in cahoots with them, we still don’t have valid evidence of his conspiracy with the two demon gods. Therefore, we have to look for the evidence regarding their conspiracy first, and we will take him down once we find it, or people will accuse us of acting arbitrarily.”

”Jia Zizhen will likely meet Mo Shentian and the Jiu Mozu soon, so I’ll start monitoring him.” After Long Wuzhao agreed, Long Xukong immediately entered the void again.

Jia Shengyun immediately asked Long Wuzhao. ”How did you know about our situation, Dragon Emperor?”

”Haha.” Long Wuzhao laughed in response. ”You two are lucky because your granddaughter is Zhang Fei’s wife, and that kid is truly cunning. He didn’t tell me the truth, but I’m sure that he already enslaved one of Jia Zizhen’s subordinates. As soon as your king threatened you two, his slave reported your situation to him, and he asked my help to save you guys.”

The two old fairies exchanged glances for a moment, and Jia Lingzhu immediately spoke to her husband. ”I think I know that person’s identity.”

”I think the same as you.” Jia Shengyun nodded at her. ”I’m sure Zhang Fei’s spy was Jia Fengli, as he started to change after we returned from the dungeon. Luckily, Jia Zizhen was overconfident in himself, and he didn’t notice his change. I hope he never realizes it so that kid can continue to monitor his movements and plans.”

Jia Lingzhu nodded in agreement. ”Let’s hope so.”

”For the time being, you two can stay in my domain, and that foolish king will not dare to come here. Even if he asks for help from Mo Shentian and Jiu Mozi, they won’t have the guts to infiltrate here, so you guys don’t need to worry too much about it.” After he called someone to escort Jia Lingzhu and Jia Shengyun, Long Wuzhao immediately went to see Tianshi Bailong and the others, where he discussed matters regarding Jia Zizhen with them.

Mo Shentian, who was cultivating in his private quarters, suddenly raised his eyebrows at the incoming voice message. He abruptly opened his eyes after listening to the message, and he hurriedly left the place while summoning his children.

A while later, Mo Shentian was already sitting on his throne with his children standing below. ”Zixiao, I’ll go look for Dong Xuanyin, but that woman is quite troublesome and difficult to find. Therefore, I’ll be gone for quite some time, so you’ll take my place for the time being, and you must continue to monitor the movements of the other demon gods, especially the Faceless Demon God Wu Mian.”

”Yes, Father.” Mo Zixiao nodded at him.

Mo Shentian then spoke to his second son. ”Taizi, I don’t care how you do it, but I want you to convince Nalan Wangzi as soon as possible, and I want you two to marry after I return. Do you understand?”

”Yes, Father.” Mo Taizi actually never wanted to marry Nalan Wangzi, but he did not have the guts to refute his father’s order.

”What about me, Father?” Another male demon asked, and he is Mo Shentian’s third son, Mo Tianqi.

Mo Shentian looked at him with narrowed eyes. ”You will go with me to look for Dong Xuanyin, Tianqi. However, I warn you to behave yourself when we meet her, or I won’t be able to save you if you incur her wrath.”

”Huh?” Mo Tianqi was surprised to hear that. ”Is that female beast really that strong, Father?”

”Dong Xuanyin isn’t as strong as me or the Four Perils, but she has unique abilities that make Taotie and the others fear her. According to what I’ve heard, she once defeated the four of them with her unique abilities, and none of them could move in front of her. Therefore, you should not underestimate her, and you should watch your attitude in front of her. Do you understand?” After Mo Tianqi nodded, Mo Shentian immediately stepped down from his throne and took his third son away, and his two other sons also went to attend to their own affairs.

Jiu Mozu was standing in front of his nine subordinates, listening to Ma Youling’s report. ”In that case, you can go meet that man in the Sun-Moon Domain soon and do everything possible to force him to help you.”

”Yes, Demon God.” Ma Youling immediately disappeared from that place.

Jiu Mozu then asked his other subordinates. ”Is the news true, Youming? Did Ye Mingran and Ye Futian really disappear from their domain?”

”Yes.” Jiu Yaoming nodded at him. ”They disappeared three weeks ago, but I don’t know how they disappeared. I’ve been trying to track them down, but I haven’t been able to find them yet.”

”What about Nalan Shizhe?”

”Nalan Shizhe is in her domain, and she doesn’t do any activities other than cultivating.”

”Hmm?” Jiu Mozu raised his eyebrows as he felt something was strange. ”What about Qi Qingxiu?”

Jiu Youming shook her head before informing him. ”Demon god, I don’t dare to check the situation of the Seven-Emotions Demon God, and she will kill me if I do that.”

”I see.” Jiu Mozu then ordered her to do something else. ”For now, I want you to continue monitoring Nalan Shizhe and inform me if she makes any moves.”

Jiu Youming suddenly noticed something. ”Demon God, Mo Shentian left his domain with his third son, Mo Tianqi. He plans to meet Dong Xuanyin to ask for her help in finding Wu Mian’s real body.”

”He’s finally making his move, huh?” Jiu Mozu muttered to himself. ”Use your eye abilities to continuously monitor Mo Shentian’s movements, and you must inform me immediately if he arrives at Dong Xuanyin’s location.”

”Yes, Demon God.”

Jiu Mozu let out a soft sigh before listening to Jia Zizhen’s voice message. ”Hmm? That foolish fairy king! How could he be so reckless? If Long Wuzhao truly knows his connection with me, he will definitely be wary of our movements, and that will make it difficult for me to proceed with my plans. Jiu Yan, I want you to meet the fairy king and help him to find the traitor in his fairy race, and you have to find the traitor as soon as possible, or my plans will be messed up again.”

”Yes, Demon God.”
