Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1236: A Month Later

As per Zhang Fei’s order, Ming Tianhe and Qiu Meixuan gathered the elders of the Blazing Union Sect and informed them of their decision to merge with the Moonlit Passion Temple, which shocked all the male elders.

All the female elders were also shocked, but they were pleased with their decision because the Moonlit Passion Temple possessed the Celestial Yin Lake, which was more beneficial to them.

All the male elders wanted to protest to Ming Tianhe and Qiu Meixuan, but Xie Heilong and Xie Zhi immediately appeared behind them, which made them scared. The incident in the dungeon a few days ago left trauma for some of them, as they almost died at the hands of those evil beasts.

”Two Sect Masters, they—”

”They are the protectors of the Moonlit Passion Temple now.” Qiu Meixuan’s answer further shocked them. ”Even though Zhang Fei has the status of an elder of the sect, he is no different from their leader because he is the partner of Sect Master Qing, and he tamed them to be their protector. Therefore, we decided to accept his offer after we learned everything, and they will protect us from enemies. Additionally, we have agreed to retain the name of this sect to prevent chaos in this domain, and your status as elders remains unchanged.”

Ming Tianhe then spoke. ”Our sect will be a male-only sect, and their male elders and disciples will move here. Meanwhile, our female elders and disciples will move to their sect, but you guys don’t need to worry about that because you can still dual cultivate with your respective partners. Elder Zhang will install a teleportation device between the two sects, and you guys can travel back and forth easily.”

”Isn’t the Moonlit Passion Temple already a universal sect, Sect Master?” A female elder asked.

Qiu Meixuan nodded at her. ”They have become a universal sect, but they maintain their dual cultivation sector. Their dual cultivators live on the mountain, and their new non-dual cultivators reside below it.”

Hearing this, the female elders began to discuss the matter, and they decided to accept the merger offer. Their first reason was the Celestial Yin Lake, and their second reason was that they could easily return to their sect to meet their partners, so it was a win-win solution for them.

Unlike them, the male elders felt uncomfortable and hesitated to accept the merger offer, but the presence of Xie Heilong and Xie Zhi frightened them, and they eventually agreed to it.

”Go now and inform the disciples about this matter, and we must complete the merger process within a month.” The female elders enthusiastically went about carrying out Qiu Meixuan’s orders, unlike the male elders. ”Why are you gloomy, Tianhe? Ru Xian and I will still be living in the sect with you, so nothing has changed between us.”

Meng Tianhe shook his head. ”I’m worried if other people find out that you two have become blood demons.”

”Heh.” Xie Heilong snorted behind them. ”Do you still need to worry about that with our master behind you two? He previously defeated those demons, and this sect will be under our protection, so they won’t dare to attack us.”

”Alright, I leave the protection of this sect to you guys.”

At the Moonlit Passion Sect, Qing Qiu’er and You Feiling announced their decision to merge with the Blazing Union Sect to their dual cultivator elders and disciples.

Unlike the Blazing Union Sect, the male elders and disciples were delighted with the merger and looked forward to cultivating at that sect’s Celestial Yang Lake. As for the ten special disciples, they will stay in their sect, and they will only go there if they want to cultivate at the lake.

Thereafter, the male elders and disciples rushed back to their respective residences to pack their personal belongings. Meanwhile, the female elders prepared places for the female members of the Blazing Union Sect.

Qing Qiu’er returned to the mountaintop to meet Zhang Fei [5], but he was not there because Jian Kuang and Zhuxian Sheng brought him to the training ground to spar with them.

Huo Lanyin was annoyed that Jian Kuang and Zhuxian kidnapped Zhang Fei [5], but she chose to give in and wait for her turn to compete with him in alchemy.

Qi Qingxiu was already sitting with Ye Mingran and Nalan Shizhe, discussing her meeting with Zhang Fei [5] last night.

Ye Mingran could only shake her head because Qi Qingxiu didn’t listen to her advice not to meet Zhang Fei [5], and she could see the annoyance on her face, convincing her that something had happened between them.

”He took me to the Three Mortal Realms last night.” Qi Qingxiu’s words surprised both Ye Mingran and Nalan Shizhe. ”He mentioned that the realm is called the Starry Sky Realm, which is inhabited only by beasts. Therefore, we will use that realm as our base to search for Wu Mian’s whereabouts there, but we have to think of something so that the other demon gods don’t find out about our departure.”

Ye Mingran shrugged her shoulders. ”Mo Shentian and Shang Zhanluo won’t come looking for me, so I didn’t think much of them. Additionally, I’ve asked Ye Futian to come back, and I’ve also prepared some people to go with us to the Three Mortal Realms.”

”Unlike you, I can’t leave freely.” Nalan Shizhe spoke with a helpless sigh. ”Mo Taizi is my daughter’s fiancé, and he often comes to my domain to check on us. Therefore, I will not go with you two to the Three Mortal Realms, and I will send some of my people to help you.”

Ye Mingran and Qi Qingxiu naturally understood Nalan Shizhe’s situation. ”In that case, you can prepare some of your people, and we will leave in a week.”

”Alright.”

After Nalan Shizhe left, Ye Mingran questioned Qi Qingxiu. ”Did something happen between you and Zhang Fei [5]?”

”No.” Qi Qingxiu disappeared immediately after saying that.

”My guess was right; something happened between them.” Ye Mingran then went to meet her subordinates and discussed their preparations.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei is in his soul world, helping Tian Taiyang and Yin Yue strengthen their souls. ”You two are at peace now, huh?”

”What can I do?” Tian Taiyang responded with a sigh. ”My family died long ago, and I have been imprisoned in the abyss for so long. Even if I’m still angry with her, it won’t change anything. For now, my main goal is to strengthen my soul and reshape my body, and I will rebuild my clan in the future.”

Yin Yue nodded slightly. ”The destruction of our clans was my fault for asking my subordinate to create that technique, but it’s all over now. My clan was destroyed long ago, but I’m still alive. After I reshape my body, I will return there, and I will rebuild my clan much stronger than in the past. However, I won’t be able to do it by myself, and I will need your help for that.”

”I know.” Zhang Fei nodded at her. ”I already said that I would help you, and I will keep my promise to you.”

”Thank you.” Yin Yue sincerely spoke.

”Don’t think about it,” Zhang Fei then asked Tian Taiyang. ”Do you also need my help?”

Tian Taiyang nodded slightly. ”I’m the only one left of my clan, and I won’t be able to rebuild it by myself, so I need your help to make that happen.”

”Alright.” Zhang Fei retracted his soul power from their souls. ”That’s enough for today, and I’ll be back to help all my wives, but I’ll be back again to help you two.”

”Thank you.”

After he returned to his body, Zhang Fei continued to dual cultivate with all his wives, especially those who had not yet broken through to the Five Celestial Realms.

As they had planned a week ago, Qi Qingxiu, Ye Mingran, Ye Futian, and several people from the three demon races were about to leave for the Three Mortal Realms. They were going to the Moonlit Passion Temple to meet Zhang Fei, but his fifth clone appeared before them.

Zhang Fei [5]’s presence made Qi Qingxiu furious because he kept bringing her into the dream for the past week, and he kept toying with her. Despite this, she held back her anger, and he sent them all to the Starry Sky Realm before returning to his sect.

After that day, there was almost no significant trouble outside, but new disciples continued to come to the Moonlit Passion Temple to join them. Qing Qiu’er didn’t accept them all, and she only selected a few of the best among them.

Since Qi Qingxiu went to the Three Mortal Realms, Zhang Fei [5] was unable to bring her into the dream; instead, he repeatedly brought Fei Lian there, which left the female beasts feeling helpless.

Since he had enslaved Jia Fengli, Zhang Fei [5] could monitor the Fairy King’s movements easily. Additionally, Jia Lingzhu and Jia Shengyun provided him with information about Jia Zizhen’s every plan. As for the four perils, Feng Yao’s other subordinates were watching them, and she informed him that there was no significant movement from them, but she asked him to remain alert.

Another three weeks passed, and all of Zhang Fei’s main wives finally reached the Five Celestial Realms. As promised, he brought them from the training space to live in the sect, and he prepared himself to go to the Slaughter Blood Domain.
