Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1337: Zhang Clan (Starfall Martial Domain)

”Yao’er.” Feng Yao, who was standing on the balcony of her palace, turned to Feng Jiu. ”Did you think of something?”

Feng Yao nodded slightly. ”The Celestial Demon God and the Nine Nether Demon God have already begun to hunt down Zhang Fei.”

”Huh?” Feng Jiu was shocked. ”Why are they hunting my son-in-law? How do they know about him?”

”Zhang Fei has overthrown the Fairy King, and two demon gods learned about him from the fallen fairy king because he was in cahoots with them in the past.” Feng Yao took a device like the one she gave Long Wuzhao and activated it, showing Feng Jiu the events of the Fairy Race in the past. ”After my announcement half a year ago, they didn’t dare to come to the Moonlit Passion Temple. They thought that he joined the Zhang Clan of the Starfall Martial Domain, and they sent spies to that clan to look for him. They will be safe for now, but that safety won’t last forever, and some of them might ignore my warning and disturb the sect soon.”

”Will my son-in-law be okay? Will he be able to face them?”

”Hehe.” Feng Yao chuckled at Feng Jiu’s reaction. ”Zhang Fei will be fine, but it’s not yet time for him to face those demon gods, especially Mo Shentian. Jiu Mozu isn’t that strong, but he must separate him from his nine subordinates first; otherwise, he will never be able to defeat him. Not to mention, he still has to face the other demon gods, such as Shang Zhanluo, Ku Shenzu, and Sha Mo.”

”What about the other demon gods, Yao’er?”

”Nalan Shizhe, Ye Mingran, Qi Qingxiu, and Wu Mian are already on Zhang Fei’s side.” Feng Jiu had already met the first two demon gods, so she wasn’t surprised to hear that. However, she was surprised to hear that the last two demon gods had joined Zhang Fei. Feng Yao looked far away again before continuing. ”The Ten Thousand Eyes Demon God, Qian Yan, is still passive to this day, so I don’t know his decision yet.”

”Is the Ten Thousand Eyes Demon God strong, Yao’er?”

Feng Yao nodded at her mother. ”The Ten Thousand Eyes Demon God is the only demon beast among the ten demon gods. Although he is not as strong as Mo Shentian and the others, he has extraordinary eye abilities, especially his middle eye, which can penetrate space, including the void. If Zhang Fei opens his private spaces in front of him, he will never be able to hide from him anymore, and Qian Yan can hunt him down whenever he wants.”

”Such a terrifying ability!” Feng Jiu then questioned her daughter. ”How exactly did you manage to know all their movements and plans so easily, Yao’er? Did you leave something behind in their domains in the past? You never left this palace, yet you were able to know everything that happened in this Paradise Realm.”

”I never leave anything in their domains.” Feng Jiu was puzzled by Feng Yao’s answer, but a woman suddenly appeared beside them. ”She was a part of my past self, and I saw and heard everything through her.”

Feng Jiu observed the woman up and down. ”Does she not have consciousness?”

”She is me, and I am her, so my consciousness is her consciousness.”

Feng Jiu looked at Feng Yao again. ”Has my son-in-law ever met this woman before?”

”Zhang Fei has met her several times, but he didn’t notice anything.” After the woman disappeared, Feng Yao spoke to Feng Jiu again. ”Don’t mention anything about her to him, mother.”

Feng Jiu inwardly sighed. ”How many secrets are you really hiding from us, Yao’er? When are you going to tell us all?”

”I don’t need to tell you anything, and you’ll learn everything once Zhang Fei evolves into the ten-tailed fox.” After that, Feng Yao contacted one of her subordinates and ordered her to go to the Zhang Clan of the Starfall Martial Domain. ”Mother, you must go back and cultivate again, or he will leave you far behind.”

”No matter how diligently I cultivate, my son-in-law will still leave me far behind, right?” Feng Jiu spoke with a bitter smile, but she immediately turned to leave, leaving Feng Yao alone on the balcony. ’Yao’er, I don’t know what your true purpose is for doing all this, and I realize that your father and I are not as strong as you, but I hope you will be willing to be honest with us about everything.’

A while later, Feng Yao disappeared from the balcony, but no one knew her thoughts and destination.

Meanwhile, a young woman walked into a clan, and everyone who saw her attire hurriedly moved away from her, especially since she was a member of the Blazing Nirvana Domain.

When the young man arrived at the front of the clan’s main hall, the expressions of those gathered there turned to shock, and an old man sitting at the head immediately came down to greet him. ”What brings you to my Zhang Clan, Young Lady?”

”Ancestor Zhang Zetian, my name is Huo Xiaoyu, and I come on my empress’s orders.” The old man and the people there held their breath upon hearing that, but Huo Xiaoyu immediately handed him something. ”My empress asked me to inform you that the Celestial Demon Race and the Nine Nether Demon Race are monitoring your clan, but she didn’t explain their purpose to you. She asked me to hand this item to you, and you can use it if people from either demon race try to invade your clan.”

Zhang Zetian received the item while looking at Huo Xiaoyu in confusion because his clan had never had any problems with the two demon races in the past, but they were suddenly monitoring his clan. ”What actually happened, Young Miss Xiaoyu?”

”I don’t know.” Huo Xiaoyu paused for a moment and listened to the incoming voice transmission. ”My empress just contacted me, and she asked me to inform you that someone will be coming to you in the near future. You just need to wait for that person to come, and you will get the answers to your questions at that time.”

”Who is the person you are referring to?” Huo Xiaoyu just shook her head and hurriedly left the place, confusing Zhang Zetian and his clan members. ”What actually happened? Could that person have something to do with the actions of the two demon races?”

”Father.” A middle-aged man approached Zhang Zetian. ”What should we do now?”

”What else?” Zhang Zetian turned to the middle-aged man. ”Yuzhen, alert our clan members and ask them to increase security inside and outside our clan. Additionally, activate our barrier now; we must prevent those demons from entering our clan.”

”Yes, Father.”

In a few minutes, the situation in the Zhang Clan became quite chaotic, and all of their members wondered about the sudden change in the situation within their clan.

Zhang Zetian jumped to the tallest building in his clan, observing the area around the Zhang Clan to look for the whereabouts of the two demon races. He looked at the item that Huo Xiaoyu gave him as he wondered about its function, but he believed that Feng Yao would not possibly give him a useless item. ”Who is that person’s identity? Why are the two demon races looking for that person in my clan?”

In two different areas, Mo Taizi and Jiu Yuan, who had just arrived at the city where the Zhang Clan resided, were shocked by the sudden appearance of the barrier that enveloped the clan.

The sudden appearance of the barrier left Mo Taizi and Jiu Yuan wondering about the Zhang Clan’s decision to activate it, and they informed Mo Shentian and Jiu Mozu about the clan’s situation.

The sudden change in the situation within the Zhang Clan convinced Mo Shentian and Jiu Mozu that Zhang Fei had joined the clan. They ordered Mo Taizi and Jiu Yuan to remain in the city and find a way to infiltrate the clan.

Mo Taizi and Jiu Yuan helplessly followed their orders, and both of them looked for an inn for temporary accommodation while continuing to monitor the situation at the Zhang Clan.

A week passed quickly, and Zhang Fei had completed the process of merging his soul with the ten-tailed fox’s sloth soul. Although he still felt a sense of laziness due to the ten-tailed fox’s lazy nature, he felt much better than before.

Zhang Fei decided to bring all his wives back to the Moonlit Passion Temple, including his clones’ wives. Upon arrival, he discovered that Duanmu Luolan and Liao Hanxue had already set up the Sect Guardian Formation Array and several other formations.

”Big Brother, can we go to the other domains to have a look?”

Zhang Fei turned to Xu Ling’er and nodded at her. ”You guys can go wherever you like, but you all have to always be careful when I’m not by your side.”

Upon hearing his words, some of Zhang Fei’s wives, particularly the junior ones, quickly left their residences within the sect. He couldn’t possibly let them leave without an escort, and he asked several sect elders to accompany them. Meanwhile, his senior wives went to several different places, including Zhang Chen, who went straight to the medical hall.

”Husband, she’s been waiting for you for a long time.” Luo Yunxiao spoke as she glanced at Qi Qingxiu, who was already standing in front of the barrier.
