Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 230: Shen Yuʼs Breakthrough

Shen Yu showed Zhang Feiʼs remaining cum in her mouth to her mother before swallowing it, causing Shen Xueyi to sigh helplessly at her daughterʼs behavior. ”Mother, you have seen for yourself that I have done such things with him, so you should already understand my feelings.

I only want to be his wife, so I hope you are willing to annul my engagement to Shen Tianyu, even if it means breaking our clanʼs traditions.”

ʼTch! I came here because I wanted to tell you that your grandmother and great-grandmother had agreed to cancel your engagement with Tianyu, but these two kept restricting my movements and not letting me talk, so I couldnʼt tell you.ʼ Shen Xueyi inwardly grumbled as she looked at Zhang Fei and Boitata, hoping they would let her go soon so she could tell her daughter about it.

However, Zhang Fei ignored Shen Xueyiʼs gaze and spoke to her daughter instead. ”Yuʼer, you should have started to feel the changes in your body after swallowing my yang qi, so you should start meditating and swallowing those pills, and you will break through to the Earth Realm after that.”

”Yes, I will do it now.” Shen Yu immediately followed Zhang Feiʼs words by sitting cross-legged in front of them. She took out the pills before starting to swallow them one by one, starting with the Essence Qi Pill, which would increase her Qi absorption speed so her body could absorb his yang qi faster.

Shen Xueyi frowned as she looked at the pills in her daughterʼs hand. Despite her sealed cultivation, her beast instinct, honed over 500 years, sensed the changes in her daughterʼs body. ʼWhat kind of pills are they? Where did this brat get those pills from? Moreover, the Qi flow in Yuʼerʼs body has become faster than before, and she might be able to break through to the Earth Realm today.ʼ

After her body absorbed the Essence Qi Pill, Shen Yu swallowed the Meridian Cleansing Pill, and black liquid began to cover her body after the pill took effect, so Zhang Fei helped her cleanse her body.

Minutes later, Shen Yu swallowed a Dantian Strengthening Pill, which was useful for making her Dantian two times stronger than other cultivators, so she would not easily suffer serious injuries.

After she finished that, Shen Yu decided to summon her cultivation soul in the form of a pink serpent, which made Zhang Fei eager to break through to the soul realm, and she immediately swallowed the Soul Enhanced Pill.

Shen Xueyi, who was still under the pressure of Zhang Fei and Boitataʼs aura, looked amazed after she witnessed several changes in her daughterʼs body. Her expression became even more amazed after the Soul Enhanced Pill took effect, especially since Shen Yuʼs cultivation soul became brighter and stronger. ʼSigh!

I donʼt know where this brat got all those pills, but Iʼm truly grateful that he gave them to Yuʼer, and he will definitely be able to surpass us in the future.ʼ

A while later, Shen Yu had already drawn her cultivation soul back into her body, and she immediately swallowed the fifth pill, the Yin Purifying Pill, which was useful for refining her yin qi and making it two times purer.

After observing everything, Zhang Fei nodded in satisfaction and gave Shen Yu instructions. ”Yuʼer, you can swallow the Beast Body Tempering Pill, and your beast form will become stronger after being tempered by it.”

”En.” Shen Yu nodded and swallowed the pill right away, but a few moments later, her expression turned painful due to the pillʼs effects. Even so, she knew for sure that the pillʼs effect was very important in helping her, so she tried hard to endure the pain.

Seeing that, Shen Xueyi panicked and was afraid that something would happen to her daughter, but she saw Zhang Feiʼs expression so calm, and Boitata also smiled while nodding repeatedly with her gaze not moving from Shen Yu.

Sometime later, Shen Yuʼs expression had returned to normal, making her breathe a sigh of relief, and Shen Xueyi also became calmer after nothing happened to her daughter.

”Now, swallow the Beast Talent Pill, and it will increase your talent, so no one in your clan will be able to rival you.”

ʼBeast talent pill?ʼ Shen Xueyi muttered in shock after she heard about the effects of the pill. ʼCould it be that he bought the pill in other realms? We have searched for such a pill in all corners of this realm, including the central region, but not a single cultivator has the recipe to concoct such a pill, including Feng Yao, the sect master of the Blazing Phoenix Sect!ʼ

Shen Yu swallowed the pill without hesitation, especially since he had experienced the effects of the previous six pills. However, she herself had many questions in her heart about the pills, mainly because their effects worked almost instantly after she swallowed them, and the pills in the Sky Jade Realm couldnʼt work that fast.

Several minutes later, Zhang Fei spoke to Shen Yu again. ”The final pill is the Beast Advancement Pill; it will not only assist you in entering the Earth Realm, but it will also boost your beast rank to a level surpassing that of your mother and family.

Although your beast rank will not immediately increase to quasi-divine, it will make it easier for you to reach that rank, and you can also become a divine beast in the future.”

Unlike Shen Yu, who gleefully swallowed the Beast Advancement Pill, Shen Xueyi was completely rendered speechless by everything she had witnessed and heard herself. Moreover, becoming a divine beast was the dream of all beasts, but it was much more difficult to achieve compared to cultivation, yet Zhang Fei claimed that his pill could help her daughter achieve it.

Although she felt jealous about it, Shen Xueyi also felt happy for her daughter, and she sincerely hoped that Shen Yu would truly become a divine beast in the future. ʼSigh! Unlike Tianyu, this brat truly loves Yuʼer, and he is even willing to help her to such an extent.

Whatever happens, I must ensure their relationship blossoms, even if it means relinquishing my leadership role within my clan, as she will undoubtedly find happiness in his company.

*Boom*

Shen Yuʼs body suddenly released a powerful shock wave, and Zhang Fei immediately moved behind her, pressing his palm against her back to channel his qi into her body. ”Break through that final barrier, Yuʼer!”

*Boom*

Another powerful shock wave swept across the lower area of the tower once Shen Yu successfully broke through to the 1-Star Earth Realm, and the Qi fluctuations within her body slowly subsided before disappearing completely a few moments later.

”You can unseal her cultivation and return to the Beast Space.” Boitata immediately followed Zhang Feiʼs orders and unsealed Shen Xueyiʼs cultivation before disappearing into the beast space.

Shen Xueyi immediately rose from her seat and removed Zhang Feiʼs cum from her face upon her release from their pressure. However, she immediately frowned upon observing a peculiar smile on his face. ʼTch! This lustful fox!ʼ ”Anyway, thank-”

”If you want to thank me, it would be best if you annulled his engagement with Shen Tianyu as quickly as possible, so Yuʼer can live freely and unstressed like now, and we can pursue our relationship openly.” Zhang Fei immediately helped Shen Yu, who had just opened his eyes, to his feet, and he then placed a gentle kiss on her lips. ”Congratulations!

Youʼve finally reached the earth realm, and Iʼll definitely catch up with you soon.”

”En.” Shen Yu nodded with a smile, and she fully believed that Zhang Fei would be able to surpass her one day, considering that the number of women by his side was quite large. ”Mother, I-”

Shen Xueyi waved her hand to stop her daughter from speaking, and she immediately informed her of her mother and grandmotherʼs decision. ”Iʼve discussed this matter with your grandmother and great-grandmother, Yuʼer. They asked me to cancel your engagement with Tianyu, and they also approved your relationship with Zhang Fei.”

Although Shen Yu was happy with their decision, she felt there was something strange about it, as she knew that they were strict against the rules, but they decided to support her instead. ”Why are they supporting my relationship with him, mother?”

”Shouldnʼt you know his true identity by now?” Shen Xueyi asked while glancing at Zhang Fei. ”Even though they didnʼt dare confirm it, they had heard about the heavenly fox from our ancestors, and they suspected that he came from that fox race. Thatʼs why they decided to accept your relationship with him, and they asked me to discuss this matter with Haoran.

Even if he wants to take over leadership of our clan, then I will-”

”What a foolish decision!” Zhang Fei interrupted Shen Xueyi while shaking his head. ”Why did you guys make such a decision? Do you think Shen Haoran will accept your decision for granted if you hand over the leadership of your clan to him? I donʼt know if Iʼm too arrogant or if the three of you are too naive, but youʼll be making a big mistake if you do that.

Furthermore, Iʼve heard from someone that he wants you to be his partner. However, you already have Shen Wansan as your partner, and he will use his authority to suppress the two of you, further complicating the situation. Moreover, you already know that I am a Heavenly Fox, and I have many strong backers behind me, so itʼs not too difficult for me to do something against that old man.”

Shen Yu sighed softly and took her motherʼs hand. ”I agree with Fei, Mother. We both know for sure about Shen Haoranʼs character, and itʼs not just us who will suffer if you hand over the leadership of our clan to him; the other people in our clan will also suffer.

Thatʼs why I believe you should refrain from doing so, and we can find a more effective way to terminate my relationship with Shen Tianyu.”

”Hehehe.” Zhang Fei chuckled as he hugged Shen Yuʼs waist. ”Actually, you donʼt need to mind Shen Tianyu; Iʼve done something to him without him or anyone else realizing it.”

”Huh?” Shen Xueyi and Shen Yu immediately turned to him, their faces full of questions. ”What have you done to him?”

”I used this on him, and I guarantee that something bad will happen to him soon.” Zhang Fei answered as he showed the phantasm incense to the two women, and he then told them its effects. ”Didnʼt you notice Shen Tianyuʼs condition when you came here?”

”No.” Shen Xueyi responded by shaking her head. ”I hurriedly wanted to tell Yuʼer about her grandmother and great-grandmotherʼs decision, so I couldnʼt care less about Tianyu. What will happen to him later?”

Zhang Fei shrugged his shoulders. ”This is my first time using this item, so I donʼt know for sure about its effects. If my guess is correct, the effect will depend on Shen Tianyuʼs delusions. Therefore, we must wait for the effect to fade, and we will discover the result later.

Rather than focusing on him and his father, it would be more beneficial if you ensured that the other members of your clan did not intervene in this matter, especially if they were unwilling to accept your decision to cancel their engagement. If they decide to stand behind them, then I will have no qualms about killing them.”

Shen Xueyi released a heavy sigh and nodded to him. ”All right, I will discuss this matter with my mother and grandmother, so they can help me convince my clan people.”

”Thatʼs good.” Shen Xueyi raised her eyebrows as soon as Mei opened the portal to the training space based on Zhang Feiʼs orders. ”For now, I want you to close this place for a month because I will be bringing Yuʼer to train with me, and you will be surprised at her progress when she comes back later.”

Without waiting for Shen Xueyiʼs reply, Zhang Fei immediately took Shen Yu into the training space and closed the portal, making her sigh heavily.

However, two women unexpectedly appeared at the place, and Shen Huang threw something directly towards the artificial lake, which instantly transformed into Shen Yuʼs sea serpent form. ”This way, they wonʼt find out that Yuʼer isnʼt here, and we should examine Shen Tianyu first.”

”Yes, Grandmother.”
