Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 207: Leon The Leo

Farla let out a final scream before Zhang Feiʼs slash split her body in two, but he didnʼt stop there. He flew after another harpy, who immediately fled upon witnessing her companionʼs death. He channeled his light element into the demon extermination sword before slashing at her, and a white crescent-shaped sword energy shot out from the sword, instantly slicing her body in half.

*Shriek*

”Even though Iʼve used it several times, this sword still continues to amaze me, and I feel that it has become stronger by absorbing some of these demon souls.” Zhang Fei then flew towards the ancient castle, but he felt several gargoyles surrounding him using their camouflage.

Even so, Zhang Fei didnʼt worry about them and instead smiled faintly before enveloping his body in light elements. In addition, he activated his demon eyes to instill fear in their souls. He then used his clone illusion steps to attack them, slashing his sword several times.

*Slash... Slash... slash...*

*Splurt... Splurt... Splurt...*

Instantly, a lot of black blood spurted into the sky, and the gargoyles reappeared with their bodies cut into several pieces before they could even react to Zhang Feiʼs swift attack.

”Haha!” Zhang Fei laughed in satisfaction after he saw them die, and he didnʼt even need to break a sweat to kill them. ”My training using the gravity feature in the training space was really worth it! These demons canʼt match my speed, and Iʼll be able to move even faster once I adapt to the higher levels.”

[Thatʼs certain, Master. However, these demons belong to the lower ranks, and their ranks are limited to the knight and lady ranks, so they are not your opponents. Look at Janette; her rank is still viscountess rank, but her speed is not too far from yours, even though she hasnʼt trained in the training space.

So if you encounter a demon like Lillea who is already at marchioness rank or above, then your current speed is still meaningless in front of them, so you have to be careful when you go to the Twins sub-realm tomorrow.]

”I know.” Zhang Fei answered with a nod as he watched Janette, who was fighting with several land demon beasts aided by several trees controlled by her, and he could see that her speed was indeed only slightly slower than his.

Suddenly, his gaze shifted to a gargoyle perched at the top of the ancient castle, especially since it was a female gargoyle, so he chased after her as he wanted to imitate her petrification.

The female gargoyle flew away as soon as she saw Zhang Fei flying towards her, especially since she felt afraid of his sword that killed her four friends earlier.

However, Zhang Fei directly used his teleport and moved above the female gargoyle before she could use her camouflage, and he immediately thrust his demon extermination sword through her chest, but he deliberately avoided attacking her vital points.

*Scree*

The female gargoyle released a shrill sound as she felt pain from Zhang Feiʼs attack, especially since he coated his sword with a light element that was the nemesis for a demon like her. She struggled to get away from him, but her actions actually caused her to continue letting out pained shrills.

Since she continued like that, Zhang Fei pressed the female gargoyleʼs back with his knees as he crouched down beside her before pulling her horns, making her look at him fiercely. ”Hey, thatʼs no use staring at me in that manner; despite the fact that youʼre a woman, I wonʼt let you go, and Iʼll kill you after imitating one of your abilities.”

[Ding]

[You succeeded in mimicking the petrification of a gargoyle named Treva.]

After the notification appeared, Zhang Fei separated their lips and killed the female gargoyle directly, but his action triggered another notification.

[You have killed 7 demons, with 33 remaining.]

[Alert!]

[The system detects a powerful demon heading towards the hostʼs location, so the host must immediately escape from this place.]

[Masters! Hurry up! Take Janette away from this place! The demon approaching you is extremely powerful, and its rank appears to be comparable to or higher than Lilleaʼs, indicating that you are not its opponent.

Zhang Fei didnʼt dare ignore the warnings from his system and Mei, so he immediately teleported to the side of Janette, who had just killed several demon beasts, causing her confusion. However, he didnʼt have time to explain it to her, so he immediately hugged her waist before taking her away, using the nine cloud steps several times.

Shortly after they left, a golden-haired male demon with a large body landed in the area; his appearance was like that of a lion, and his golden eyes looked fierce, making the demons in the area immediately prostrate themselves on the ground because of his presence.

Soon, three demi-humans resembling lions landed behind him, and one of them asked him. ”What happened, Sir Leon? Did you feel anything from this place?”

The man was none other than Leon the Leo, one of the twelve rulers of the Diyu Realm. He then gestured towards the corpses of the demons that Zhang Fei and Janette had earlier killed. ”Did you guys notice anything unusual about their corpses?”

Hearing that, the three looked at the demon corpses seriously, but they didnʼt notice anything, so they shook their heads at Leon.

”Fools!” Leon chided them directly. ”In this realm, there is no demon who can kill them that neatly, except for me and the other rulers. However, all of them are still in their sub-realms now, and I can feel the power of light from these demon corpses, so I am sure that they werenʼt the ones who killed these useless low-rank demons.”

”The power of light?” The three of them were shocked to hear that. ”Does that mean there are people from the Xian Realm infiltrating here, Lord?”

Leon responded to them with a nod as he tried to check the area around them, but Zhang Feiʼs movement was too fast, with him being able to move 100 km in one fell swoop, so he and Janette were already far from that place. Moreover, he wasnʼt a demon cultivator, and his senses werenʼt as sharp as those of normal cultivators or demon cultivators, so he couldnʼt find their traces.

”We canʼt let them escape, so I want you to contact our people and order them to leave my sub-realm, and I want them to search for traces of those people from Xian Realm throughout our realm. Otherwise, if we find them too late, their presence will be dangerous for us, and they might do some things beyond our knowledge.”

They immediately carried out Leonʼs orders, but one of them asked him again. ”Are we going to the Dryad Forest now, Lord?”

”No.” Leon answered by shaking his head. ”Initially, I want to go there to persuade Lillea again, but this matter is much more serious and concerns the future of our realm. Thatʼs why I want to go to the other rulers to discuss this matter with them; otherwise, everything will be too late, and the three of you can spread out to look for the whereabouts of the intruders as well.

However, you guys are not their opponents, especially since they have the power of light, so all of you have to contact me if any of you have managed to find them.”

Unfortunately, Leon had guessed wrongly about the matter, especially since he didnʼt have any information about Zhang Fei yet, so their efforts would only end in vain.

”Yes, sir.”

The three lion demi-humans immediately left the area, and Leon observed the corpses of the demons before releasing a soft sigh and flying to one of the stone platforms to meet the ruler who owned the sub-realm.

”Why did you suddenly take me away from that area? Have you managed to acquire their abilities?” Janette immediately inquired as soon as they reached a new location.

”Iʼve mimicked their abilities, but I suddenly felt the presence of a strong demon, and I wasnʼt the demonʼs opponent, so I decided to take you away from there.” Zhang Fei then looked at the crowd of demon beasts below them, but they were weaker if they were compared to the harpies and gargoyles.

”Letʼs go; I want to finish my business quickly, especially since Iʼm worried the demon can still find us, and weʼll go back to the Dryad forest after that.”

”All right.”

Unlike before, they didnʼt fight separately, but Zhang Fei and Janette fought side by side, and they quickly killed quite a lot of demon beasts with their combined abilities, so he didnʼt need to waste too much time completing his quest.

After the notification appeared in his mind, Zhang Fei immediately took Janette back to the Dryad Forest, but she then pulled her to her private quarter. ”Why did you bring me here?”

”Humph!” Janette snorted at his question. ”You will return to the Sky Jade Realm and leave your second clone here, right? Thatʼs why I want to dual-cultivate with you now, especially since I donʼt want to do it with your clone.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed at that and hugged Janetteʼs waist. ”Even though our relationship is just a reciprocal one, and you are not my official woman, I will never use my clone to touch you. Moreover, I will still often come here to train, and I can also take you to the Sky Jade Realm, so you shouldnʼt have to worry about that.”

Janette nodded to Zhang Fei. ”I havenʼt been back to this realm for two years, so I want to stay here for a while to accompany my mother. Even so, I will go to the Sky Jade Realm again later, especially since I can only cultivate there or in your mansion, so you can pick me up later.”

”Sure, Iʼll definitely pick you up.” Zhang Fei then took out a device and gave it to Janette. ”Since my second clone will go to the Twins sub-realm tomorrow, you can use this device to contact him if you all encounter danger, and he will definitely come straight here to help you guys.”

”Haha.” Janette laughed softly before taking off her clothes, and she then helped Zhang Fei undress before engaging in hot sex with him, making her orgasm again and again.

However, Zhang Fei was surprised because the amount of Janetteʼs female essence increased quite significantly compared to when they had sex on earth, and Mei told him that it was probably the influence of the Dryad Forest, especially since she was a Dryad. Unfortunately, her yin qi was too weak for him, mainly because her cultivation was still very low, but he didnʼt care much about it.

Even so, Zhang Feiʼs yan qi was potent enough to help Janetteʼs cultivation break through several times, especially since their cultivation was three major stages apart, making her cultivation reach 1-Star Body Realm directly.

Towards the end of their dual cultivation session, Janette sensed a strange occurrence within her body, which swiftly engulfed her in darkness. ”Hah... Hah... Fei, I feel something weird happening inside my body, and this makes me uncomfortable.”
