Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 225: Shen Clan Ancestors

After that, Fyr led her down the stairs to the underground, a discovery that surprised Feltia due to the vastness of the underground area and the numerous passageways connecting it to other areas. ”Follow me.”

Feltia nodded and followed behind Fyr, who started telling her about the rules of Shire Demon City, demon hunters, and various other things.

Fyrʼs was less attractive compared to Ashrethʼs, but she had a fairly tall and slender figure, and her skin tone was a bit darker. She has shoulder-length white hair, sharp red eyes, and pointed ears like most elves. The most attractive thing about her is her long legs, and nothing else besides that; even her breasts are not that big.

Besides, Feltia also didnʼt find a suitable ability that could be copied from her, especially since her rank was equal to hers in baroness rank.

Sometime later, they arrived at another room, which was a rest area, and four other female demons were waiting there. Based on Fyrʼs explanation, Feltia knew that their name was Eve, the blood-sucking demon, often referred to as a vampire. Leora, the cat demon, is the second female demon.

The last one is a female faun demon named Tessa, and her body resembles that of a deer, including her horns, ears, and tail.

However, after checking their status, Feltia felt disappointed, particularly because most of Eveʼs abilities were related to her bloodline, and her ability choices were limited due to her low demon rank. She also wasnʼt too interested in Leoraʼs abilities, except for her enhanced flexibility.

As for Tessaʼs abilities, all of them are almost identical to her own, so she has no interest in mimicking them.

ʼSigh, only Ashrethʼs regenerative healing factor interests me, so I have to figure out how to mimic it as quickly as possible.ʼ Leora suddenly jumped at Feltia, causing her to fall backwards, and she immediately licked her face. ʼTch! This female cat! Heʼs really mischievous—like a real cat.ʼ

”Tehe! You smell so good, like catnip, that I canʼt resist licking you.” Leora sat on top of her, and Feltia, annoyed, immediately grabbed her black tail, causing her to scream loudly. ”Meow!”

However, Feltia ignored it, squeezing Leoraʼs tail harder and applying the demon touch to her.

”Meow!” Leora let out a moan in a cat voice as she tried to stand up, but her body felt weak from the sensation entering her body, so she begged with a pitiful look. ”Please let go of my tail! My tail is too sensitive, and you make me feel strange.”

”You should stop using your abilities on Leora.” Feltia immediately turned to Eve, who warned her. ”This cat gets horny too easily, making her lose control of her mind if sheʼs highly aroused, and you definitely donʼt want her pouncing on you.”

Upon hearing that, Feltia halted her actions, released Leoraʼs tail, moved her to the side, and then stood up. ”So whatʼs our plan? Do you guys have a new mission?”

”Yes.” Eve nodded at her. ”We previously discussed a mission, but we have to go to Ruler Ariesʼs sub-realm to clear it. However, we anticipate significant challenges there, particularly for Tessa, given the extreme heat of Ruler Ariesʼs realm and its abundance of deserts and volcanoes.”

”I told you that you donʼt need to worry about me! Iʼll definitely be fine.” Tessa protested to Eve as her eyes roamed at Feltia. ”Rather than thinking about me, youʼd better think about our new member, especially since she doesnʼt seem to have much experience when it comes to hunting, and she will definitely give us trouble.”

”Youʼre wrong about that.” Feltia denied Tessaʼs words while shaking her head. ”You may be the best hunter in this group, but I can guarantee that I will not lose to you, and I will not cause trouble to any of you.”

”Humph!” Tessa snorted and picked up the longbow on the wall. ”Letʼs go! That location is quite far from the entrance portal to Ruler Ariesʼ sub-realm, and it took us a few days to get there, so we didnʼt have much time to waste! Besides, I want to see the hunting abilities of this succubus, and we will leave her if she hinders our movement.”

ʼTch! This woman overestimated herself!ʼ Feltia inwardly grumbled as she thought of ways to teach Tessa a lesson, but she immediately smiled after she realized that she had a deer-demon-beast bloodline. ʼSince you dare to underestimate me, I will teach you a lesson later, and you will know who is the boss.ʼ

Suddenly, Leora jumped onto Feltiaʼs back and laid her head on her shoulder. ”Tessa is always like that, including towards us, so you donʼt need to think about her. She is actually a kind-hearted woman, and she became that way because her parents died due to a mistake made by their friend, and she doesnʼt want to suffer from the same thing.”

”I see.” Feltia nodded to them. ”So how long will it take for us to travel to our mission location?”

”Around a week.” Fyr answered as she followed Tessa out of the room. ”The terrain within Ruler Ariesʼs sub-realm is truly troublesome, coupled with the scorching heat within there, so we have to rest repeatedly, or we will die from exhaustion and dehydration.”

Feltia inwardly sighed after hearing that, and she immediately took Leora, who didnʼt want to get off her back, and left the room, followed by Eve, who watched her with a strange look while licking her lips.

While Zhang Fei and his two clones were busy with their own affairs, three days had already passed in the Sky Jade Realm.

A woman with long black hair wearing a long gray dress was standing in the sky above the vast expanse of ocean, but her eyes were filled with uncertainty, and her expression was also confused. ”Sigh, I have to meet them, especially since I canʼt decide it on my own, so Iʼll ask for their opinion first.”

After saying that, the woman jumped into the ocean, transformed into a giant white sea serpent, and swam to the bottom at full speed.

Some time later, the woman arrived in front of an underwater cave, and she used her tail to open the formation panel at the side of the entrance. After that, he darted into the cave passage, reaching its end within a few minutes.

Even though the cave was underwater, the inside was spacious and dry. The woman then leaped out of the water, transformed back into her human form, and swiftly flew into the caveʼs hall. There are two giant sea serpents that appear to be sleeping in the hall; one is reddish white, and the other is pinkish white.

”Mother! Grandmother!”

Upon hearing that, the pair immediately opened their eyes, and the pinkish-white sea serpent questioned her. ”Why did you suddenly come here, Xueyi?”

Shen Xueyi released a soft sigh before replying to her. ”Mother, Iʼm facing a problem, and I canʼt decide it myself, so I decided to come here to talk to you first, especially since this problem is related to Yuʼer.”

Shen Xueyiʼs expression was so serious that the two sea serpents immediately turned to their human forms. The reddish-white sea serpent turned into a tall and slender woman; she had long black hair. Even though she looks sexy and seductive in a long black and white dress, she exudes a calming and immersive aura.

Her elliptical face is quite pretty, with two wide eyes, thin eyebrows, a slender nose, and thick pink lips underneath.

As for the pinkish-white sea serpent, she turned into a woman with waist-length brown hair. Unlike the previous woman, a pink and white dress covered her curvaceous body. If the previous womanʼs breasts were small, then the second woman had quite big breasts. Her oval face looks lovely, with slanted brown eyes, a pair of sharp eyebrows, an attractively sharp nose, and thin red lips.

Even so, her expression was too serious, and she didnʼt seem to like to smile.

Shen Huang, the long black-haired woman, was the third-generation ancestor of their clan. The brown-haired woman was Shen Xinya, the fourth generation of their clan.

”Now you can tell us about your problem, Little Xueyi.” Shen Huang said it after they sat together on the cave floor.

Shen Xueyi nodded to her grandmother, then began to tell them about Shen Yuʼs relationship with Zhang Fei. In addition, Shen Xueyi shared with them all the information she had previously learned from her daughter about him, including his affiliations with the Liu Clan and several other clans, as well as his actions in subduing Boitata despite his relatively low cultivation level.

After Shen Xueyi finished telling them everything, Shen Huang and Shen Xinya exchanged glances, and their expressions also turned serious.

”Do you two recognize the type of his fox bloodline, Mother and Grandmother?” Shen Xueyi asked with curiosity, as the two womenʼs serious expressions suggested they recognized Zhang Feiʼs fox bloodline.

They did not directly answer Shen Xueyiʼs question, and Shen Xinya asked her mother instead. ”Do you think that Zhang Fei came from that legendary fox race?”

”Yes.” Shen Huang replied with a nod. ”If Yueʼer is telling the truth about Zhang Feiʼs bloodline being superior to the moon foxes, then there is no doubt that he came from that legendary fox race. However, that race has long disappeared from this realm, so I felt weird with his sudden appearance.”

”The legendary fox race?” Shen Xueyi raised her eyebrows in confusion. ”Which fox race are you referring to? Is there really a fox race that can surpass those moon foxes?”

The two women sighed softly, and Shen Huang then explained it to her granddaughter. ”In the past, before the Moon Fox Race inhabited this realm, there existed a fox race that was far superior to those living here, but the entire fox race abruptly decided to leave this realm.

According to our ancestorsʼ story, they deliberately left because the Qi in this realm was no longer sufficient to sustain them. If they continued to stay, this realm would eventually run out of Qi, which could lead to its destruction. Thatʼs why they decided to leave this realm and move on to a higher realm, but our ancestors did not have solid information about that.”

Shen Xueyi felt even more confused by their explanation. ”Grandma, what exactly is his fox bloodline?”

”That fox raceʼs name is the heavenly fox, and they are far superior to those moon foxes.” Shen Xueyi, who had never heard of the fox race before, raised her eyebrows as Shen Huang continued. ”You donʼt need to be confused about them, and they really existed in this realm far in the past.

However, they erased all records of their race before they left this realm, and they also erased the memories of all the inhabitants of this realm. However, they deliberately didnʼt erase the memories of us beasts, especially since they were too superior to us, and they looked down on us.”

”How could they perform such a feat?” Shen Xueyi asked in shock because their feats were too terrifying, as they could even erase their existences from the memories of all the residents of the Sky Jade Realm.

”The heavenly fox race is indeed terrifying, and their strength has no limits.” Shen Xinya said it with a sigh. ”According to legend, they have the ability to teleport, and they can also switch realms easily, which is why we are certain that Zhang Fei is their member.”

Despite their previous statements, Shen Xueyi appeared to find it difficult to accept them. ”Anyway, what do you mean by higher realm?”

Shen Huang chuckled at Shen Xueyiʼs curious expression. ”According to legend, the Saint Realm is not the pinnacle of cultivation, but there is still a Quasi-Divine Realm above it, Little Xueyi. Once we surpass that realm, we will be rejected by the laws of this realm, and we will be sent to a higher realm.”

Shen Xueyi took a deep breath and muttered to herself. ”Even reaching the sovereign realm is really not easy, let alone the quasi-divin realm.”

”Cultivation is never easy.” Shen Xinya said it with a shake of her head. ”Your grandmother and I have lived in seclusion for a long time, but our cultivation is still stuck at the 10 Star Heaven Realm. Even though we have repeatedly tried to break through to the sovereign realm, we have never managed to get past the final barrier.”

”Yeah, thatʼs true; I also had a hard time breaking through to that stage.” Shen Xueyi replied with a bitter smile on her beautiful face. ”So, what should I do about Yuʼer? She appears to have been enamored with Zhang Fei, and she never liked Shen Tianyu either. However, I donʼt dare make a decision about their engagement, so I want to hear your opinions first.”
