Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 206: The Diyu Realm History

This time, Zhang Fei didnʼt go to the forest, but he took Janette to a high plateau, which was quite far from the Dryad Forest, especially after she told him there were quite a lot of strong demon beasts in that place, and one of them was the harpies. Moreover, a large number of gargoyles, possessing useful abilities, inhabited an abandoned castle nearby.

”See that? That abandoned castle still stands even though it has been abandoned for thousands of years, and it was the residence of the first demon lord.” Zhang Fei raised his eyebrows as he observed the castle seriously, and Janette then pointed at the floating ancient black castle in the sky.

”In the past, the first demon lord found a cave filled with strange rocks, and the rocks could float by themselves, so he ordered his followers to use them to build it. Since then, he has abandoned this castle and relocated there, only to mysteriously vanish along with his twelve aides.”

Zhang Fei immediately turned to Janette. ”How could someone as powerful as the demon lord mysteriously disappear? Moreover, you previously told me that the last demon lord also disappeared without a trace, so I felt that it was really strange that two powerful demons could disappear just like that.”

”Itʼs not just you who feel strange about their disappearance; all of the demons in this realm also feel strange about it.” Janette released a heavy sigh before continuing. ”Many of them have tried searching for their whereabouts in all corners of this world, including my ancestors.

Unfortunately, they never managed to find the two of them, so they suspect that their disappearance has something to do with people from the Xian and Tian Realms.”

”People from the Xian and Tian Realms?” Janette nodded to Zhang Fei, and he suddenly remembered something. ”Hey, what exactly are demon lord seeds? Why do the rulers want them so much?”

”In the past, this diyu realm did not have a ruler, and the situation in this realm in the past was much more chaotic compared to now. According to the legend, the first demon lord accidentally discovered the ten black seeds, and he felt an extraordinary dark power radiating from them, so he decided to swallow them.

After that, his power increased rapidly, and he became the strongest demon in this realm, so he challenged all the strong demons at the time and defeated them.” Zhang Fei seemed serious about listening to Janetteʼs story, especially since he was quite interested in the history of her realm.

”After he defeated them, he nicknamed himself the demon lord and became the sole ruler of this realm, and he also appointed the twelve strongest demons as his aides, which he gave titles based on the twelve zodiacs.

Even though he was powerful, he did not oppress other demons, and he ruled this realm with great wisdom without distinguishing between our statuses, so he united and grouped all the demons based on their races to avoid unwanted comotion.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”Then?”

”See that?” Following Janetteʼs direction, Zhang Fei saw a statue on a hill, its size so large that it was visible from all corners of the Diyu Realm. ”It was a statue of the first demon lord, but unfortunately, his appearance made the people of Xian and Tian feel threatened, and they repeatedly attacked this realm to kill him, so they worked together to carry out their plan.

However, he was assisted by his twelve aides at that time, fighting hard against the people of the two realms. In the end, they managed to repulse the invaders, and the three parties involved in the war suffered serious injuries, so they never attacked this realm again, and our lives have become peaceful.”

”If all your stories are true, I also think that the disappearance of the first demon lord has something to do with people from both realms.”

”Yeah.” Janette responded with a nod of agreement. ”Anyway, on the day the demon lord disappeared, all the demons saw ten black lights shooting out of the floating castle, and they thought that the ten black lights came from the ten black seeds.

Since then, they have called them the ten demon lord seeds, and they assume that whoever manages to get hold of one of those seeds will get a tenth of the demon lordʼs strength, so they try hard to find them. Unfortunately, their efforts are always in vain, and no one has been able to find them in years.

Thatʼs why I was truly shocked after my mother told me that she found one of them, and she even used it to give birth to me.”

”How did Lillea manage to find that?”

Janette released a soft sigh before answering him. ”I already asked my mother about it, but she said that she never tried to look for the demon lord seed, and it was the one that summoned her to its location, so she decided to bring it back before using it.”

”If you were born from a Demon Lord Seed, why is your demon rank still low?” Zhang Fei asked in confusion.

”Itʼs just an ancestral story, but no one has ever found out the truth.” Janette then sighed heavily before speaking in a sad and disappointed tone. ”I still couldnʼt believe that Rose would betray us; her actions have made us Dryads suffer for so many years, and our numbers are steadily decreasing, so only about five hundred Dryads are left now.”

”Whoʼs that Rose, Janette?” Zhang Fei asked with a frown.

Janette turned to Zhang Fei. ”Rose is one of my motherʼs sisters, Fei. She is always kind, gentle, and caring for the young Dryads, which is why I canʼt believe that she betrayed us.”

Zhang Fei pulled Janette into his arms and hugged her tightly, as he said. ”Well, you donʼt have to think about her for now, and Iʼll help you capture Rose later. However, to be able to do that, I have to go to the twin Amarisʼs sub-realm first, and tomorrow the portal to there will open, right?”

”Yes.” Janette nodded and told him. ”Anyway, you will definitely enjoy your time in their sub-realm, especially since there are no male demons there, and you will be able to get a lot of female essence there.

However, you must exercise extreme caution to avoid the twinsʼ discovery, particularly given their strong animosity towards male demons, and they will eliminate you if they detect your presence in their sub-realm.

”Oh? Is it true that there are only female demons in their realm? If- Ouch!” Zhang Fei shrieked loudly in response to Janetteʼs intense squeeze on his dick; he then released her from his embrace. ”Why did you do that? Do you want to destroy my lineage?”

”Humph!” Janette responded with a snort.

Zhang Fei smiled wryly at her response. ”Speaking of the twins, I donʼt know much about them, especially about their weaknesses, so I canʼt determine my move against them yet.”

Janette immediately told Zhang Fei again. ”Linʼer and the others have already told me about the clone you sent to the Yin-Yang Pavilion, and the twins are almost identical to the two of you, but they are completely two different individuals.

They can communicate and share thoughts with each other even if they are not in the same place, and they can channel their power to each other in an instant when they are close together.”

”Oh?” Zhang Fei was really surprised to hear that, especially since he and his clone couldnʼt do such a thing.

”You should already understand what you have to do with them, right?” Janette spoke as she pressed her index finger against Zhang Feiʼs chest. ”If theyʼre close, then theyʼll be powerful, but they wonʼt be that powerful if theyʼre far apart.

Moreover, they can feel all the sensations experienced by each other, just like you and your clone, so you can defeat the other one if you have defeated one of them. Unfortunately, they almost never separate from each other, so you have to think of a way to separate them first in order to defeat them.”

”Since they have that kind of ability, I will think about the best way to separate them.” Zhang Fei then fell silent for a while in thought before speaking to Janette again. ”Since they hate male demons, it would be better if I used my fox form to go to their realm, and they probably wonʼt find out that I can transform into a human, so I can do that more easily.”

”I advise you not to do that.” Janetteʼs words made Zhang Fei frown. ”You see, they are demons with the darkness element, and your fox form always emits a strong light element. Moreover, the darkness and light elements always oppose each other, and the twins are completely different compared to Yue and the others, who are easily tempted by the cuteness of your fox form.

If they detect your light element, they will immediately kill you, so itʼs crucial that you avoid doing so.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei laughed at that. ”Since I also canʼt use my fox form, I will use another method to infiltrate their sub-realm, and they definitely wonʼt notice or be suspicious of my presence.”

”Hmm?” Janette squinted her eyes suspiciously. ”What kind of method will you use to avoid their detection?”

”Ha ha.” Zhang Fei chuckled and summoned his second clone, shocking Janette, especially since he already had one clone before, and the second one was also completely similar to him. However, his second cloneʼs actions shocked her even more, and her jaw dropped, especially since his clone turned into a succubus. ”Hahaha!

I have another ability that allows me to transform into any demon, including their aura, so his transformation was truly flawless, and the twins would never know that he was a man.”

”Sigh! Nothing about you is normal, you know?” Janette replied as she shook her head. ”However, you are right that the twins will not recognize your second cloneʼs disguise, and they will probably be interested in bringing her over to their side. So what name will you use for your second clone?”

”Hmm?” As he scratched his head, Zhang Fei thought. ”I think the name Feltia is appropriate for a succubus, so he will use it later.”

”Feltia is indeed a good name for a succubus.” Janette answered with a nod of agreement. ”So what are we going to do now? Do you want to kill the harpies and other demons in this place?”

Zhang Fei withdrew his second clone before turning towards the plateau again, and he asked Mei to scan the demons residing in that area.

A while later, Mei told him. [Master, harpies are similar to avian beasts, with most of their abilities linked to the wind element. However, since you lack this element, their abilities wonʼt be as effective for you. Thatʼs why the best option is to mimic their poison immunity, so you will be immune to poisons and the like.]

ʼYeah, youʼre right about that.ʼ Zhang Fei immediately agreed with Mei, as he thought that immunity from poison was the best choice. ʼThen what about the gargoyles?ʼ

[Hehe, there are three good abilities of gargoyles, which are their night vision, camouflage, and petrification. However, you are a cultivator, so you donʼt need night vision because your sense of sight is very sharp. Furthermore, you already have the invisibility ability, so their camouflage is also useless for you.

Thatʼs why the best option is their petrification, and you can turn someone into stone using that.]

ʼAll right, I will imitate those two abilities from them.ʼ Zhang Fei immediately summoned the demon extermination sword as he asked Janette. ”Will you join me?”

”I havenʼt fought in a long time either, making my fighting skills a little rusty, so I need to hone them again.”

After Janette returned to her dryad form, she and Zhang Fei immediately moved towards the abandoned castle, and they started fighting with the demon beasts.
