Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 203: Prometheus Domain

”Eh? Why have you come here again, big brother?” Polypus immediately asked when he saw Zhang Fei [1], but he was a little surprised to see him bringing two women with him, especially Luo Yu, who was a beast like him. ”I thought you wouldnʼt come here for a long time, but youʼre here now.”

”Anyway, these two girls are my partners, so you donʼt need to be afraid of them.” Zhang Fei [1] then put his arm around Luo Yuʼs shoulders. ”You must have noticed that she is a beast, right? She is a silver silkworm, so I hope you two can be friends, even though you are older than her.”

”Haha.” That made Polypus laugh. ”Big brother, your friends are my friends, so you donʼt need to worry about that. Anyway, why did you come here? Do you need herbs?”

Zhang Fei [1] shook his head and explained it to him. ”I recently acquired new abilities, which are related to plants, so I came here on purpose as this place is the most suitable to try them out.”

”Hey, Fei, was he the one who kidnapped Xia Leng and the others before?” Gu Yan suddenly asked him, her gaze suspiciously fixed on Polypus.

”Yes.” Zhang Fei [1] nodded to her. ”Polypus is a beast that they must capture to complete their mission, so he was forced to kidnap them to protect himself, but he has no evil intentions towards them.”

”I see.” Gu Yan nodded in understanding, then walked towards several plants that caught her interest.

Luo Yu then asked Zhang Fei [1]. ”What abilities have you just acquired? How did you get abilities related to plants?”

”Hehe, Iʼll show you straight away. so you donʼt need to be so curious.” After he said that, Zhang Fei [1] used the tree control that he mimicked from Janette a few days ago.

Instantly, the three peopleʼs jaws dropped as soon as they saw all the plants in the place dancing nimbly, and they moved according to Zhang Fei [1]ʼs will. He didnʼt stop there and used plant manipulation, which he mimicked from Lillea, to make plants that were previously small grow so fast that they reached maturity in just seconds.

To their surprise, some of them came out of the ground and danced like humans before splitting identically into two, causing all three to fall on their buttocks as they looked at him like they were looking at a freak.

”Ha ha ha.” Zhang Fei [1] laughed out loud as he saw the expressions of the three of them, but he himself was quite surprised by Lilleaʼs abilities. He then approached several plants that had already withered, and his next action left them even more shocked, especially since those plants immediately turned fresh again. ”What do you guys think about my abilities?”

”Your abilities are simply too amazing, brother!” Polypus exclaimed as he jumped to his feet. ”With your abilities, you can have an unlimited supply of herbs!”

Gu Yan, unlike him, exclaimed in annoyance. ”You are a freak, Fei! Your cultivation speed is already too absurd, and you are now showing us off your other absurd abilities!”

”Fei, are you copying other demonsʼ abilities?” Luo Yu inquired as she squatted beside the previously withered plants. ”Even though Iʼve never met demons in person, Iʼve heard stories about tree demons before. According to those stories, they can control and do many things to plants, like what you just showed us.”

Zhang Fei [1] nodded to Luo Yu. ”Youʼre right about that; I did copy their abilities. Some of them are evil, but many of them are also kind, and they are friends by nature, so I decided to copy their abilities for my benefit and that of the people closest to me.”

”I see.” Luo Yu nodded in understanding, as his abilities to control and influence plant growth were indeed impressive. ”As Polypus said before, this place is a small paradise for you, and you will have an unlimited supply of herbs in it.

Unfortunately, none of us have any knowledge of alchemy, and we donʼt know which herbs are beneficial for us, so you need an alchemist to help you take care of this place.”

Naturally, Zhang Fei [1] already knew about it, but he didnʼt think much about it, especially since he had Mei and the system, and both of them could help him classify herbs based on their benefits. ”Actually, you donʼt need to think about that because one of my wives is an alchemist, and she is very skilled in that field.

However, she lives in the central region now, and she is busy with her sectʼs affairs, so I will bring her here in the future.”

”Huh?” Luo Yu and Gu Yan looked at Zhang Fei [1] in surprise after listening to his confession. ”Do you really have a wife from that region? How do you know her? Iʼve never been to that region, but I heard that the people there are too arrogant and rude, especially since they are much stronger compared to people from other regions.”

”I donʼt need to lie to you two, right?” Then, Zhang Fei [1] looked at Polypus. ”I still want to stay here, but we still have some missions to complete, so weʼll leave now.”

”Yes, Brother. I will continue to stay here and wait for you to come again.”

Suddenly, Mei spoke to Zhang Fei [1]. [Master, I think you should protect this place, or other people might discover it by accident, just like Polypus did, and you will be the one to lose if that happens.]

ʼIs there something I can use to protect this place?ʼ

[There is one device in the modern shop, but itʼs quite expensive, and people wonʼt be able to see this place if you use it. Even if they manage to discover this place, they still wonʼt be able to enter it, and they will suffer attacks from its defense mechanisms instead.]

ʼItʼs okay; you can buy the device now. As for money, my shop on earth will open soon, and Iʼm sure those items will sell well, so Iʼll get a lot of income from them.ʼ Zhang Fei [1] made this decision without hesitation, particularly considering that herbs held greater significance and importance than earth money. They could aid in their cultivation, and he could also sell them to acquire jewels.

[All right, I will buy it now.]

{You got Prometheus Domain x1}

{50,000,000 has been deducted from your balance.}

”Cough… Cough…” Zhang Fei [1] coughed hard as soon as he saw the deviceʼs price, which was much more expensive than his Pandora Odyssey. Even so, he could understand it because he had seen for himself the luxury and all the facilities inside his flying artifact, all of which were more advanced and futuristic compared to spaceships on earth. ʼDamn it! My money is less than forty million yuan now.ʼ

[Hehe, master, you have a servant as rich as Huang Rong by your side, so you donʼt need to worry about money, right?]

ʼYeah, youʼre right.ʼ Zhang Fei [1] immediately took the Prometheus Domain from the system inventory, and he threw it up after Mei explained how the device worked.

Soon, many transparent lights came out of the device, and they formed a huge transparent dome surrounding the entire deserted valley area, making it invisible from the outside, but they could see the outside clearly.

”Wow!” Polypus exclaimed in amazement after seeing that. ”Is this a barrier, Big Brother?”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei [1] then explained to Polypus and the two women about the dome. ”This way, this place will completely become my private place, and no one will be able to intrude here.”

Unlike Polypus, Gu Yan and Luo Yu are increasingly speechless about Zhang Fei [1], especially since his three forms, abilities, and items are simply too amazing.

Zhang Fei [1] only smiled at the two womenʼs expressions, and he immediately hugged their waists before leading them away through the portal, leaving the overjoyed Polypus behind. After that, he took them to leave the area and go to their next mission destination.

Meanwhile, an old man was checking on the condition of Xia Leng and the other two male disciples, and he could feel relieved that they were fine. However, his expression was different when he checked Ning Qingxueʼs condition, especially since there were several burn marks on her body, so he turned to Xia Qianqian, who immediately explained to him about their fight.

”What a foolish and cheap slut!” After hearing that, a young woman sitting on a chair in the corner of the room yelled condescendingly. ”Obviously, the guy doesnʼt like her, but she so stupidly attacks other people out of jealousy.”

The young woman has hip-length black hair, wears a sexy short green dress that is slightly revealing at the top, and wears a green muffler that covers her shoulders. Her body is quite small but curvaceous, around 5ʼ2”. Her supple and enormous breasts, which are slightly larger than a DD-cup, contribute to the disproportionate appearance of her body.

She has an elliptical face that is cute, childish, and immature. Her black and round eyes are as clear as crystals; they are decorated with curly eyelashes and thin eyebrows above them. Her nose is long and big, and her slightly thick lips curve into a heart shape.

”Lin Dongʼer! How many times have I told you to behave yourself?” The old man, who was none other than Lin Hao, asked her with narrowed eyes. ”Youʼre old enough now, but youʼre always rude and naughty, causing those men not to dare approach you. If you continue to act like this, youʼll end up an old maid, and youʼll live in solitariness when youʼre old.”

Upon hearing that, especially when Lin Dongʼer glared at her, Xia Qianqian immediately covered her mouth with her hands.

Lin Dongʼer then refuted Lin Hao. ”Old man! You are the old one! I am still young and beautiful! As for those men, they are just wild animals who always think using their lower bodies. Thatʼs why I donʼt need them, so it would be better if I lived in solitude, and I could enjoy my life to the fullest!”

Lin Hao could only sigh heavily because of his daughterʼs attitude, especially since he had repeatedly tried to advise her, but she was never willing to listen.

Seeing them like that, Xia Qianqian immediately asked Lin Hao. ”Elder Lin, what about my brother and the others? Why are they still not awake? Is there something wrong with them?”

”No, thereʼs nothing serious about them, and that beast seems to have shocked them with its abilities, so they still canʼt wake up.” Lin Hao answered by shaking his head. ”As for Ningxue, you did give her a healing pill, but your artifact attack seemed to be too strong for her, so her internal injuries have not fully recovered.

Even so, you donʼt need to worry about them, and we will immediately bring them back to our sect, so Zhiyu Fengzhi can directly help them.”

After hearing that, Xia Qianqian exhaled with relief, yet she harbored a slight sense of guilt towards Ning Qingxue for inflicting such severe injuries on her. ”Sigh, thank goodness theyʼre fine.”

”Hey, who is that male disciple? How could he save these three stupid guys?” Lin Dongʼer suddenly asked him.

”Senior Sister Dongʼer, his name is Zhang Fei, and he hasnʼt joined our sect for long.” Ling Dongʼer raised her eyebrows upon hearing that, and Xia Qianqian continued. ”Even so, I donʼt know much about him because we only met three days ago, but his cultivation has already reached the 2-Star Core realm, and he will apply to be promoted as an inner disciple soon, so you can meet him yourself later.”

”Humph! Iʼm not interested in meeting a man who has two partners!” Lin Dongʼer then said to Lin Hao. ”Old man! Letʼs go back to the sect now! This village is too smelly, so I canʼt bear to stay here for too long.”

Lin Hao used his aura to lift the four disciples, who were still unconscious, and take them away from the inn. After he took out his flying artifact, they immediately boarded it before speeding away from the village.
