The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 243: Chapter 243: A Series of Fortunate Misfortunes

After all, Han Siqu is actually a smart person. Even his martial arts talent isn’t bad, it’s just that with the overly dazzling Han Si Que overshadowing him, his excellence doesn’t show.

Su Yaogeng has now come to terms with everything. She only hopes for Han Siqu to be safe and sound, after all, she ultimately owes him.

If leaving can really make him happy, then let him be!

Perhaps back then, he should have done the same.

After all, it was she who delayed him.

Han Jing suddenly thought of something. At first, when she asked him why he was so irresponsible, he said to ask Su Yaogeng how he got that group of concubines and then Han Jing forgot about it.

”Mother, were father’s concubines taken by him on his own?” Han Jing suddenly asked.

Su Yaogeng paused for a moment, then shook her head: ”It’s my fault.”

Han Jing was puzzled: ”Could it be that you arranged them for him, Mother?”

Su Yaogeng nodded: ”When we got married, we mutually agreed not to interfere with each other after marriage. Initially, he held a grudge against me, indeed never entering my room, but after all, seeing each other day in and day out, once he drank too much and barged into my room. Afraid he would discover my secret, I drove him out. After several such incidents, first, I worried about the secret being revealed, and second, after all we were husband and wife, if word got out, I would have no defense. So, I suggested he take concubines. Who knew he would outright refuse. Later, seizing the opportunity when he drank too much, I sent a maid to his bed. The next day when he woke up, he was furious and dealt with the maid directly. We had a fight, I asked him what he truly wanted, he looked at me for a long time and finally said, ’Whatever!’

”And then?” Han Jing didn’t expect things to be like this, truly can’t blame Han Siqu.

No wonder Han Siqu carried some sarcasm when he said those words at that time.

Su Yaogeng sighed: ”Later, thinking he didn’t like maids, I sought out well-regarded young women from Capital City families to be his concubines, and he didn’t oppose. But from that point on, he began living a life of debauchery day in and day out. Worried he was going too far, I found some women from ordinary families for him to make him rein it in. He always had a nonchalant attitude, but no longer easily came to my courtyard, so I stopped worrying about him.”

Anyway, in her heart, there is still some guilt towards him.

He was right; she indeed influenced his life but never once asked if he truly wished it.

She really didn’t give him any opportunities.

Because she truly couldn’t give any.

Between them, it was destined to be an unfortunate mistake.

”So that’s how it is...” Han Jing looked at Su Yaogeng and said: ”Mother, you don’t have to dwell on it too much. What’s past is past, and there is still a long road ahead.”

Whether Han Siqu will return in the future depends on him.

Su Yaogeng nodded and said nothing further.

In the evening, when An Chuxue returned, she excitedly told Han Jing that Yun Feng had already gone to seek Su Yu’s help, saying that within three days he would certainly have a set of tools that would satisfy her.

Han Jing nodded, but when Su Yu was mentioned, she felt somewhat distracted, so she chose not to think about it. Now, the most important thing is Su Yaogeng’s matter. In three days, she will be able to perform surgery on Su Yaogeng.
