The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 242: Chapter 242: What Do You Think of Su Yu?

Su Yaogeng took her time sipping tea, glancing at Han Jing several times, and finally burst into laughter, ”Child, if you have something to say, just say it. Why are you hesitating, is something the matter?”

Han Jing bit her lip, steeled her heart, and asked, ”Mother, what do you think of Uncle Su Yu, what kind of person is he?”

Usually, Han Jing wasn’t shy, but today she found it hard to speak up.

”Oh? Him, he’s quite good.” Su Yaogeng didn’t expect Han Jing to bring this up, but from her expression, she had a general idea. Most likely, Su Yu had mentioned wanting to marry her. It seemed that this little girl had been won over by him.

No wonder he told me not to interfere, he was waiting for me to show up!

Tsk tsk, that was quick action!

The next words got stuck in Han Jing’s throat.

Su Yaogeng was in a good mood these past two days and intentionally teased, ”Why is Jing’er suddenly asking about him? Ah, speaking of which, Yun Peng isn’t young either, but has unfortunately been delayed and hasn’t married yet. If he relaxed a bit, all the young ladies in the Capital City would go crazy.”

Han Jing...

Why does that sound a bit strange!

Han Jing ultimately couldn’t bring herself to say she planned to marry Su Yu, though she suddenly realized she seemed to have already decided.

Han Jing then chatted with Su Yaogeng about other things until the people Su Yaogeng sent out to find Han Siqu returned, reporting that no one had seen Han Siqu, as if he had disappeared into thin air.

Su Yaogeng couldn’t have imagined that Han Siqu, a Marquis who spent his days in pleasure and idleness, would leave without a trace.

She couldn’t help but frown, ”Could something have happened?”

Although she had no particular feelings for Han Siqu, after all, they had been married for years and were family, she certainly didn’t wish for anything bad to happen to him.

Han Jing knew the whole story and thought Han Siqu was pretty smart. He should know that Su Yaogeng would be looking for him, so he probably used some method to ensure she couldn’t find him. As for danger, Han Siqu didn’t have any enemies, and although his martial arts weren’t great, ordinary people wouldn’t likely hurt him, so there probably wasn’t any danger.

However, Han Jing couldn’t voice her thoughts and could only comfort, ”Mother, don’t worry too much. Since Father left a note before leaving, he must be prepared. If he doesn’t want you to find him, it won’t be that easy in such a vast world. Since he’s made up his mind, let him be! Maybe he really has his own plans?”

Su Yaogeng listened to Han Jing, sighed, and waved the informants away, ”Keep someone looking though.”

Once they left, she said to Han Jing, ”Ah~ how old is he, and he’s still playing disappearing games? I’ve already promised him I wouldn’t do anything to wrong him, yet he’s still causing trouble. It’s really exasperating.”

She had already said she would never go with Han Si Que.

As long as they stayed another day in the Capital City, nothing would change; he was still her Prince Consort and still Marquis Qing’an.

They could still live peacefully as before, so why was he still causing trouble?

However, Jing’er made a point; if he intentionally doesn’t want to be found by her, she probably wouldn’t be able to find him.
