The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Let’s Start Over

From the moment Han Si Que appeared, He was already jealous.

Yes, He was jealous.

He was indignant.

He was thinking about how aggrieved and wronged he had felt all these years.

Why did he have to become the sacrificial lamb in their love story?

If Su Yaogeng hadn’t married him back then, he might have married someone else, he might have fallen in love with his own wife, he might have loved his own children, and he might have had moments of joy and happiness. It definitely would have been different from this lifeless state he’s in now.

His calm and unruffled life suddenly erupted with infinite fighting spirit the moment Han Si Que returned. His eyes burned intently at them, and he would never give them another chance to hurt him.

He thought he was just angry, angry at the absurdity of his life all these years.

It wasn’t until today, until he heard the gossip from outsiders, until he heard that they might reunite, and that she might leave him, that he realized he couldn’t accept this result, he couldn’t accept her leaving.

Even if she remained forever cold, making him gaze up at her, he still hoped he could at least see her.

So he went mad trying to find her, drunkenly saying all the things he would never dare to say or never would say normally.

No matter how painful her slap was, he didn’t care. What he cared about was if he didn’t stop them, she might truly leave him.

And at this moment, while listening to Han Si Que speak those words, he realized that his fear of her leaving, his anger and worry that there was something unspeakable between them, was because he cared about her more than he imagined.

No matter how much he chose to ignore and get used to it all these years, he ultimately couldn’t stop it; he had fallen in love with her.

And so at this moment, he was suffering and terrifyingly afraid.

Afraid he would just be abandoned by her like this.

”Enough of you!” Han Si Que clenched his fists and shouted at Han Siqu, ”What more do you want? Zheng’er has already shown you the greatest tolerance a Prince Consort can have. What are you unsatisfied with? What exactly do you want to make a fuss about? Look at what you’ve done all these years, what right do you have to question her here?”

”Right?” Han Siqu laughed and said, ”Do you have the right to speak to me about rights?”

”You!” Han Si Que really wanted to punch Han Siqu; he never thought that one day, he would argue like this with the brother he loved the most.

In the beginning, they were clearly not like this, he wasn’t someone who was unreasonable and overbearing. Why did things turn out this way? Was it a mistake of those years, an act of fate, that changed everything?

Su Yaogeng listened to their argument, closed her eyes, and after a long moment, suppressed the despair and pain that was about to overflow.

She turned her back to the two and said coldly, ”I don’t want to see you anymore, I’ll say it again, all of you—get out—”

Han Si Que looked at the woman he loved deeply, thought about the pain he endured over the years, and witnessed Han Siqu’s unreasonable antics. Suddenly, he had an impulse to let go of everything; he looked at Su Yaogeng and said, ”Zheng’er, I’ve thought about it, can we start over? Can we leave here, leave Nanyao Country, go to a place where no one knows us, and start again? We’ve already missed once, can’t we try not to miss again?”
