The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 201: Chapter 201: Get Out of My Sight!

”A Xi, let him in.” Su Yaogeng shouted, then ignored Han Siqu and directly left the inner room, closing the door behind her.

Han Siqu was about to speak, but then heard Han Si Que already entering from outside, so he held his tongue. He wanted to hear what they would say!

In the small flower hall connected to the inner room, Su Yaogeng glanced at Han Si Que and said coldly, ”I wonder what the Duke Wei is up to, breaking into my Princess Mansion at night?”

Aunt Xi had already retreated, leaving only Su Yaogeng and Han Si Que in the hall, with Han Siqu listening intently from the inner room.

Han Si Que stared at Su Yaogeng, suppressing the urge to approach, and said hoarsely, ”Zheng’er, I’m sorry, I also didn’t expect things to turn out like this. Mrs. Qin, she, she’s too out of line.”

He just thought, since she felt so aggrieved, he might as well fulfill her wish and free himself too.

He hadn’t expected Mrs. Qin, who was always supposedly very gentle, to cause such a commotion, even threatening to hang herself and boldly demanding to divorce him.

He was even more unexpected that this incident would become so widely known, and he even heard about Marquis Qing’an getting drunk and returning home, clamoring to find Su Yaogeng for an explanation.

Su Yaogeng looked up at this man she once deeply loved and suddenly laughed, ”Han Si Que, I also didn’t expect you to change into someone I no longer recognize. When did you learn to push everything onto an innocent person? Are you going to say next that back then you were forced, it wasn’t your wish to marry Mrs. Qin, but the Old Madam forced you to do it?”

Han Si Que’s voice paused, ”Zheng’er, you know I didn’t mean that...”

Yes, back then his mother did force him to marry Mrs. Qin, threatening him with her life, but in the end, he still wavered.

So over the years, he constantly asked himself, was it really worth it? Everything he’s had over the years, is it really what he wanted?

He didn’t know, he really didn’t know.

”Enough! You don’t need to explain anything to me, I don’t want to listen, I won’t listen. Han Si Que, the reason I let you in and said these things to you is to tell you that the past is gone, it cannot be returned to, life does not start over. Whether you dismiss Mrs. Qin or divorce her, anything that happens at your Duke Mansion has nothing to do with me. So from now on, whatever you do, it’s up to you, you don’t need to tell me, I’m not interested. I’ve finished what I had to say, you can leave now. If you break into the Princess Mansion again at night, don’t blame me for being rude. You know whether you have the ability to break in.” This relationship had long been severed and no longer held any significance.

She did not want any further involvement with him, his matters had nothing to do with her at all.

”Zheng’er, I don’t want to do anything... I’m just worried about you, I heard that just today my second brother got drunk and caused a scene with you, I was worried about you, so I came to check on you. He has always had a quirky nature, and this time he listened to nonsense from outsiders... Zheng’er, I know you have your helplessness, I, ... it’s all my fault.” It never occurred to him that she would be this important to him. He truly thought back then that he could let go, only now realizing how utterly wrong he was.

”Shut up!” For once, the usually composed Su Yaogeng suddenly seemed furious, her voice chillingly cold, ”Get out——”
