The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: Bad Timing

Su Xingyan had drunk some wine, and now he had a headache. Hearing the servant’s voice, he couldn’t help but furrow his brows, then instantly sobered up and shouted, ”What did you say? Han Jing is here?”

The servant at the door cried, ”Prince, please come out and see. I, I...”

The servants were almost scared to death, weren’t they?

The guards managed to maintain some composure, but no matter how calm they might be, who would dare to stop the Commandery Princess!

Damn it, everyone knows this Commandery Princess is not to be messed with!

Su Xingyan suddenly sat up, feeling inexplicably flustered, and hurried to find his clothes to put on.

Han Yan heard that Han Jing had come, and a trace of resentment and bitterness flashed in her eyes. Her voice unconsciously carried a hint of grievance, ”Prince, what’s this about? Can’t you let Sister wait a while?”

Su Xingyan didn’t have the presence of mind to listen to what she was saying and instead shouted, ”What are you standing there for? Get up and help me change!”

Han Yan was slightly stunned, was he yelling at her?

Han Yan bit her lip tightly, her eyes a little sore, and her heart even more so. Even though she chose to stay by his side voluntarily, even though she had her own motives, how had she treated him all this time? When he was poisoned and so wretched, who was the one by his side, taking care of him day and night?

Now it’s fine, in his eyes, she’s just like an ordinary concubine, free for him to scold?

Han Yan felt utterly wronged, her eyes wet, she lowered her head, hoping Su Xingyan would look back at her, comfort her, or say something to her, but he didn’t. Su Xingyan was hastily putting on his clothes, not even glancing in Han Yan’s direction.

At this moment, Han Jing had already reached outside.

Han Jing hadn’t expected Su Xingyan to be napping at this time, as it was well past the Wu hour, so she didn’t think much and just pushed the door open, ”Su Xingyan, you wouldn’t be trying to evade the debt, would you?”

Then she saw Su Xingyan, somewhat disheveled, rushing out from behind the screen in a panic. Seeing Han Jing, his face visibly tensed.

Su Xingyan looked at Han Jing, immediately putting on a stern face, ”What are you here for?”

Han Jing smelled the scent in the room and looked at Su Xingyan’s not-so-great expression, raising a brow, ”Ah, it seems I came at a bad time! But, are you just starting, or are you finished? If you’re just starting, I’ll sit here and wait for you a bit. If you’re done, please settle the debt you owe me.”

An Chuxue, who followed Han Jing in, came in just in time to hear Han Jing’s words, couldn’t hold it back, covered her mouth to stifle a laugh, her shoulders shaking, and sneakily glanced inside.

Oh? This man looks quite good, with a nice physique, as for the woman inside, tsk tsk, a real beauty too!

Su Xingyan’s face turned even darker, and he shouted, ”Han Jing! Haven’t you had enough? When did I say I wouldn’t pay you back? Give me two more days, and I’ll have someone send it to you!”

He didn’t know what was wrong with him, but being caught by Han Jing in such a situation, he felt a kind of...an unspeakable feeling, very embarrassed? Somehow a bit awkward...

And she, didn’t seem the least bit angry.

Didn’t she like him? Why, why couldn’t he see any jealousy on her face? Before, before whenever a woman tried to approach him, she would unceremoniously drive them away!
