The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 196: School Universe for Heroes

”KYYAAA T-There are worms in my body...t-there are...hun?” I wake up screaming while moving my hands to try to remove those things from my body, but there’s nothing, I’m completely fine.

”M-My arms and legs a-are here!!” I look at my hands, my vision is a bit blurred from crying.

”Is this place...Japan?” I look around my room, recognizing the style of the walls, bed, and furniture, which is very similar to Japan.

”...” I try to use my unique ability or magic, but there’s nothing, I don’t even feel mana.

”W-Was it a dream? T-There’s no way it was just a dream” I perfectly remember the demon king calling me Heroine Vanessa with disdain, her hurting and torturing me.

There’s no way it was just a dream, I perfectly remember those things invading and digging into the flesh of my body.

”C-Could dying in that world send me back to Japan?...b-but where am I?” This is not my room and it’s not the school where we were summoned as heroes before.

I walk around the room, which is dark because the lights are off and the windows are closed.

”...” I go to the mirror and look at my body, everything is normal, no holes or worms in my body.

”A-At least I’m back in Japan...” I’m glad I didn’t die, that was a true hell, the demon king is much worse than I expected, she’s sadistic and extremely cruel and made me go through a terrible torment.

”...I-I’ll look for someone to help me get to my family” I wonder how my dad is doing, did he miss me? How long has it been since I disappeared from Japan?

”...” I start to go to the door and open it, as soon as I get home I’ll need a psychologist to deal with this, I think I’m traumatized, it was horrible to have those things invading my body.

”O-Ow l-look where y-you’re g-going...K-Kyaaa” As soon as I step out I end up bumping into someone passing by and fall to the ground, I also hear the sound of boxes and books falling.

But as soon as I look at who it was, I see the demon king, I scream in fear as I crawl back.

”Tsk, stupid brat, watch where you’re going” the demon king says disdainfully as she picks up the fallen books and boxes and leaves.

”W-What the hell was that!! W-Why is she here!” I say, terrified, as I get up and look through the door, soon I see not just one, but several demon kings walking through the hallways.

”W-Why a-are there s-so many? T-They’re not a-all the s-same...” they’re not exactly the same, they’re quite similar, but they all have some difference, whether in height, hair length, clothes, and things they’re wearing.

”Hey, bitch, you’re late” One of them comes up to me and grabs my hand, pulling me.

”N-No, please don’t kill me! I-I swear I’ll do anything, please!”

”Kill you? Have you finally gone crazy, bitch? Shut up and stop resisting before I cut off your legs”

I shut my mouth, scared, while I cry and let her drag me, I’m so terrified by all this, as I’m dragged through the hallways, I see several of them, all with some differences.

’T-This can’t be Japan’

”W-Where am I and where are we going?” I ask fearfully.

”Where are you? You’re at school, are you blind, bitch?”

”Hey, what are you doing outside your School term!” One of the demon kings stops the one holding my arm, she rolls her eyes while clicking her tongue.

”Class representative, I’m just taking her to the classroom, the teacher asked me to do this, I’m not outside my School term”

The demon king who seems to be the class representative leaves.

”Tsk, arrogant piece of shit!” The demon king with me curses the one who just left, all this leaves me so confused.

Why am I in a school full of demon kings? I’m pulled against my will again.

”...” I see a statue of the demon king I fought in the window.

”T-That statue!”

”Oh, that? It’s our goddess, the beloved creator who gave life to this universe”

’L-Life...to a universe? T-Then I-I’m trapped in another universe? T-This can only be a cruel joke’

”Here we are, bitch, don’t be late again, I hate having to go get the others” The demon king pushes me into the classroom and goes to the other door.

”You’re late, girl” A demon king with a more mature appearance says while glaring at me, this demon king is wearing a teacher’s outfit and wearing glasses.

”A-Ah I-I just...” I don’t know what to say, I don’t know why I’m here, everything is so confusing.

I look at the classroom, there are several students, but they are all literally the same appearance with slight differences.

”What are you standing there for! Get in already, do you want to increase your punishment?” The demon king dressed as a teacher says angrily, she is taller than the others and has slightly larger breasts.

”O-Okay”

”Extend your hands, you’ll receive your punishment”

’I-I don’t know what to do...it’s b-better to obey, I don’t want anything bad to happen to me’ I extend my hands as she approaches, I’m afraid of what she’ll do if I don’t obey.

”Pay attention, students, this student has just been late, is not wearing the school uniform, and finally shows not a shred of respect for the teachers”

”So she will be punished accordingly”

”HHHYYYYYYAAAAA” She uses a ruler, I didn’t think it would be so bad, but with the ruler she cut my hands off.

”Guhhfff” She stabs my abdomen with her tail, I fall to the ground crying in pain as a lot of blood flows from the huge hole in my abdomen.

’A-Am I going to die again?’ I lie on the ground agonizing while the demon king dressed as a teacher begins to give a lecture, she doesn’t care that I’m agonizing in pain.

And even after minutes, I somehow don’t die, and after half an hour of agonizing pain, my hands and the hole in my belly have healed.

”...” I’m all dirty with blood and tears.

”Vanessa, clean up this mess and sit in your place” The teacher says without looking at me as she writes something in an unreadable language on the board, all the students simply ignore me as they do the activity.

”...What are you looking at like an idiot? Go on or you’ll be punished again” I quickly get up, trembling with fear, my body shaking with the memories of the terrible pain.

”The cleaning supplies are in that cabinet” She points to a cabinet at the back of the room without even looking at me as if I’m so irrelevant that I’m not worth her time.

”...” I slowly walk to the cabinet, afraid of the looks.

”Kyaa!” I fall because someone put their foot in front of me, I look up and see the malicious smile of one of the demon kings while the others giggle at me.

”...” This is so humiliating, I get up without saying anything and grab the cleaning supplies, going to the front of the class to clean up my own blood, it’s so scary to do this.

After a few minutes I cleaned everything, although I feel disgusted, the fear is so high that it far outweighs the disgust I feel.

”I-I’m done” I say with a trembling voice, everything is so bad.

”Sit next to number 53”

”W-Where?”

”Gyaa” the teacher slaps me in the face.

”You’re so stupid, how can you ask a teacher to repeat what they said just because you have a brain the size of a nut? Don’t you see there’s only one empty seat? Unlike you, all of them are students who follow the rules”

”S-Sorry” I go to the only empty place next to a demon king with glasses, who in a normal classroom would be the nerdy girl.

”C-Could you t-tell me what’s going on h-here” I ask, my voice very restrained out of fear of being hurt again.

”...”

”You’re an extra, we don’t really like extras, you can call me 53 but avoid talking to me” She answers me reluctantly.

”Let me make one thing clear, you came from outside, you weren’t created by our goddess, and our goddess doesn’t like you...so we hate you, you can only live in our society because our goddess allows it”

”Otherwise, you’d be in the school’s underground being tortured day and night, currently the universe is small, but I know our goddess did her best for us”

”And you, a filthy extra, have the honor of contemplating the beauty of this world, an honor you are unworthy of”

”Everyone in this universe is called by a number, in the future we’ll have names, but we’re waiting for the universe to grow so we can name ourselves, so you’re the only one without a number”

”Just obey the rules if you want to minimize your pain, and don’t try to go against anyone...The new student is talking during class and bothering me” 53 rats me out just for asking.

”!!!”

”W-Wait, t-teacher I-I just...” I try to explain.

”Shut up!! Get out now! Go to the principal’s office before I rip your head off!” The teacher says angrily, I get up from the desk and run out scared.

”W-Why is everything like this! W-Why! W-What did I do so wrong to end up like this?” I say with a sense of injustice in my voice, but I still look for the principal’s office, afraid of something bad happening to me.

”HYYAAA” while running, I stopped in front of a staircase to rest, but I was suddenly pushed and started rolling down the stairs, hurting myself a lot.

”Hick I-It hurts” My arm is broken, I look up and see one of them up there with an arrogant, disdainful smile.

”Hey, newbie, be careful, the stairs are really slippery hahahaha” She laughs at me as she leaves, her laughter echoing through the hallway.

I also broke a leg, so I’m lying on the stairs, crying in pain and humiliation. After a few minutes, my limbs are restored, but I’m still on the floor, crying.

”Hey, crybaby bitch, the principal wants to see you, and she’s really mad at your tardiness, she’s very punctual” One of them appears on the stairs, she’s wearing a luxurious pink dress with ruffles and white gloves.

”W-Who a-are y-you”

”Number 147, I’m helping the principal today so I have to guide you” She comes to me and helps me up, extending her hand.

”...”

”Where’s my thank you, crybaby bitch?” She speaks as she takes off the glove from the hand that held mine and throws it in the trash as if the contact with me was like touching trash.

”T-Thank you” She starts walking and I follow her through the school hallways, the school reminds me a lot of Japan, but there are several obvious differences that make it seem like a poorly made imitation.

Everything is happening so fast and it’s so confusing, all I’ve been able to understand is that the original demon king created this place and created these things, and after defeating me, sent me to this place.

And here I can’t die, and I can’t use magic or abilities, so I’m at the mercy of these things that seem like the demon king, but with differences.

”We’re here, the principal isn’t happy at all, so I can only wish you...the worst of luck, I hope you get fucked” She speaks with a smile as she leaves happily.
