The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 174: Primordial Goddess

After some time the king and a few other people brought a table full of food and drinks as well as bikinis for me and Delphina, after that everyone left, leaving me alone with Delphina.

Delphina changes in front of me without caring that I see her two cute little ”packages”, I also change, but obviously the bikini was a little tight since they don’t know my measurements.

I lie down in the chair next to Delphina, honestly it’s impossible for me to get a tan, my skin is practically pure white, there’s no way the pure white color can get a tan.

And the light that comes also doesn’t have enough strength to be able to do that, Delphina who is albino also doesn’t get a tan, so she probably just likes the sunbath.

”You can tell me now what this empty universe is” I say as I close my eyes and let the light do its job.

”Okay, I’ll explain first how the summoning occurs” Delphina starts to speak seriously.

”Each goddess must participate regardless of what they are doing or where they are, when we are summoned, we will all be forcibly pulled into the empty universe”

”To leave everything as it was, the time in all places will stop, so the goddess will return to her previous position when the summoning is over as if nothing had happened”

”Within the empty universe there are rules that we must all follow”

”We cannot fight there, we cannot use magic there, we cannot kill, we cannot leave until it’s over, we cannot damage the place, we cannot try to fight the guardian”

”Any disagreement must be resolved through conversation or they must duel in a special arena, although both parties must accept the duel”

”Breaking these rules will bring you punishments equivalent to the rules broken” Delphina seems to explain very well, but something piques my curiosity.

”Who is the guardian?” Who could force the goddesses not to fight?

”It’s the Silver Witch, a being that represents the goddesses, she may not be stronger than some of the goddesses, but her binding magic causes irreparable damage that no goddess is willing to risk”

”What do you mean?” I ask with doubt, if she’s not stronger, what could limit the goddesses?

”The Silver Witch’s name is Aradia Hécate Cailleach, and her focus is binding magic, let me give you an example of why no goddess dares to try something against her or the rules”

”Imagine the following scenario” Delphina leans forward in the chair, sitting up and looking at me.

”There’s a war, normally you would have to face all the enemies, but the Silver Witch only needs to find the commander, when she uses her magic and kills the commander, everyone under his command will die equally”

”An example of magic she has already demonstrated, she created two inclined silver crosses forming an X, trapping the target and leaving his head trapped in the crack, then she decapitates him with another cross that falls from the sky”

”When this happens, everyone connected to that person dies by decapitation, now imagine this area of effect literally catching everything”

”All the races connected to you, your creations, even the scenarios linked to you being instantly destroyed”

”It’s the same as losing billions of years of work in a second, no goddess is willing to risk losing everything, even if she survives, everything she has worked for is lost forever”

”No magic is able to repair this damage, not even temporal magic can repair this damage, it’s permanent, that is, total loss of everything you’ve done throughout your life”

”And that’s just one of the various punishments, many other punishments can be worse, it was done this way not because it aims to take things from us, but because it aims to keep all the goddesses from fighting”

”She seems incredible” I murmur, thinking about this insane capacity, it makes sense that no goddess dares to challenge her, even if she is not the strongest, she can still take everything from you.

It’s like having a save in the game with hundreds of hours and reaching a part where there’s a boss you have to ignore, because if you don’t ignore him, he’ll erase or corrupt your save.

”I’ll continue talking about the empty universe, any questions, just ask...and please don’t fight with the Silver Witch” Delphina warns seriously.

”In the empty universe we can have a brief or prolonged meeting, the fastest meeting lasted 3 minutes and the longest lasted 5,952,165 years, unfortunately we don’t dictate how long we spend in this meeting”

”But most of the time it only lasts a few days, we’ll only stay very long if we’re unlucky” She says as she seems to remember this great loss of time.

”In the empty universe we have various things to discuss, it’s usually supposed to be a fraternization among the goddesses, it was made by the primordial goddess as a way to unite us”

”Although it didn’t work, after all we are very different, but I understand why the primordial goddess wants us to be united”

”After all, she is basically our mother, every mother wants to see her children united, unfortunately, although she sees us as daughters, we the goddesses do not see ourselves as sisters”

”We hate each other deeply because of our differences, the more different one is from the other, the more obvious the hatred becomes, after all, it’s an obvious issue not only of appearance, but of magic, mana, intellect, feelings and way of acting”

”To everyone, I’m a natural tyrant, but I’m not that way because I want to, it’s just natural for me, like a shark taking care of what’s mine with violence”

”For the goddess of the abyss, it’s normal for her to live by destroying, killing and devouring, after all she is the closest to a monster in all aspects”

”And for the goddess of the beasts, it was common for her to be obedient, loyal and submissive to those she had special consideration for, while being aggressive with those she didn’t recognize as special”

”We are all very different from each other and that’s why we hate each other, in fact I don’t even remember why we started this divergence or who started it, it just arose at some point”

”But that doesn’t mean the Primordial Goddess made us this way just to fight, she just made us different, she didn’t expect our disagreements because we are sisters, she is just too pure”

”She is so pure that she can be called almost naive, she is not naive because she has a amount of stored information that can be called infinite”

”She is so nice that she always tries to make things better, but in the end, not everything can get better just because someone tries”

”And now we have you, a new goddess, in billions of years we’ve never had company besides ourselves, honestly I don’t expect you to cure our differences and you don’t seem to want to”

”But it will still be a significant change to have you with us, now whether it’s a good or bad change is hard to say, although I think you’ll be a bad influence”

”I love you more as I know what you are, I know more intrigues will occur, and you still have your mother and sister who had problems with the goddesses, so it’s hard to see you trying to fix our broken sisterly relationship”

”...You’re right, I can’t care about that, all I feel is hatred for the goddess of humans, she’s a fucking bitch who’s going to mess me up” I tell Delphina, who sighs.

”Pandora, there’s just one thing I ask you, if you see the primordial goddess, treat her well, you as a goddess and daughter of the goddess of the abyss are like a granddaughter to her”

”To humans, the primordial goddess is an unreachable being who doesn’t care about anything, but to us Goddesses, the primordial goddess is a gentle figure who doesn’t like fights, she avoids getting involved because that would only cause more fighting”

”After all, she has tried to get involved a few times and has only caused annoying problems and was just insulted, after that she got hurt and decided not to meddle anymore”

”What did she do?” I ask with doubt, I think we’re straying from the subject, but I got curious.

”She created the vampires, but they didn’t turn out as expected”

”WHAT?” I lean forward in the chair, completely surprised.

”It’s a long story, to be more precise, she created an avatar who is the current queen of the vampires, but this avatar was corrupted by humans and thus became what it is today”

”Her avatar began to create more beings like her, and the vampires arose, after that the Primordial Goddess was heavily criticized for having created such a being when it wasn’t even her fault”

”It was the humans who messed up and used magic on her, now her avatar is a cadaver fanatic, who likes necrophilia and blood, becoming practically a monster”

”And the Primordial Goddess didn’t make them disappear because she is too pure and believes that something created should not be eliminated, but given a chance to live in the natural cycle of things”

”So indirectly she ended up creating these annoying bloodsuckers, and now these plagues are spreading everywhere”

”Of course, finding her avatar is ridiculously difficult, after all it’s an avatar of the primordial goddess as strong as one of the goddesses, so now this plague is out there in the world”

”Ah, this kind of makes the queen of the vampires your grandmother and the mother of the goddesses since it’s an avatar composed of the body of the primordial goddess, but of course no one considers her part of the family”

”After all, she’s just a bloodsucker with questionable morals, and apparently her mentality became the opposite of the primordial goddess, that is, as the primordial goddess likes life, her avatar likes death”

”That’s why she’s a necrophiliac who likes strong dead bodies and gets sexually excited by them, it’s kind of disgusting, but it’s not like I care enough to interfere”

”It just annoys me that this disgusting thing is an avatar of the Primordial Goddess, it stains the purity of the creator of everything”

”It’s like taking a beautiful place and completely dirtying it, staining its purity, I wish these things would disappear, but doing that is not the will of the Primordial Goddess”

”After all, if a goddess fights the queen of the vampires, the world will end”

”And Pandora, changing the subject, you are very lucky, you were blessed by the Primordial Goddess, she likes you so much that she even gave you her heart hehehe” Delphina says with a little laugh.

”She gave me?” I ask with doubt.

”Yes, she gave you her heart, well they say grandparents really like their grandchildren, you just haven’t noticed it”

”...It may seem like an insult..., but where is it?” I question with serious doubts, I didn’t even know I had received this incredible gift.

”It’s there, on your wrist” When Delphina says this, I look at my hand.

”...Violet?”

’Is Violet the heart of the Primordial Goddess?’ This was the most shocking thing I’ve heard so far.

”The special grade weapons that are said to be indestructible, they are all pieces of the Primordial Goddess” Delphina begins to explain.

”The Primordial Goddess has 3 bodies, her mental body, her spiritual body and her physical body, the 3 bodies form a single set forming the current Primordial Goddess”

”But these bodies can normally be separated, and these separations usually lose their usefulness”

”The Primordial Goddess saw that various races had problems, so another way to try to help was to give these useless parts as a weapon to help them survive”

”Of course, that was a mistake, the Primordial Goddess doesn’t have a good sense of power, she is so strong that these useless parts ended up being too powerful”

”Which generated absurdly powerful weapons, like [Mesumari] the devouring sword capable of consuming the existence of things as if it were a piece of the void itself”

”Or the sword that is with you, [Vé’laris] Means in divine language the sword that alters destiny”

”It is composed of the heart of the Primordial Goddess, this sword can cut, shape and destroy destiny, representing well the heart of the Primordial Goddess who believes that everything can change”

”Of course, all these weapons are alive, but they don’t know they are parts of a greater being than them”

”They are all made from the physical body of the Primordial Goddess since this body tends to lose parts over time because she is very strong, so she has to replace certain parts over time”

I’m shocked, totally surprised that Violet is such an incredible thing that was given to me by the Primordial Goddess as a gift, and I mocked Violet so much.

Violet, who is sleeping, didn’t hear this, which I think is good, she would be even more arrogant if she knew how incredible she really is.

I think I need to start giving more value to this incredible gift, now it makes sense that the place where I found her was not by chance.
