The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 181: Arriving at the empty universe

I was chatting with Delphina while waiting to be sent to the empty universe, and after a considerable amount of time, I was simply in another place.

A quick transition, completely against my will, just as Delphina had said it would be.

”...I understand what she meant...” The place is minimally confusing, the ground is entirely gray with a white walkway that must be the path I’m supposed to follow, or not, since the place is confusing.

The starry night sky is strange in the sky, there are several floating squares, gray blocks of the same color as the ground, floating all over, a little above the ground.

I also can’t get a good sense of direction in this place I don’t know which way is left or right, and in fact, I can’t even tell if I’m upside down or not.

The horizon is one of the most confusing things I see it as if it were infinite, the point being that I can see things that are at a distance that shouldn’t even be visible.

”Is that a planet? Because I can see the star it orbits?” I ask in total confusion. Seeing the planet would make sense if it were close, but I can also see the star it orbits, showing that it’s at a very great distance.

And not just that one, I can see several planets and their stars, which doesn’t make much sense, after all, these stars seem ridiculously distant, and even though I see that, I don’t see anyone here.

”...I need help getting to my destination,” I yell, trying to call the Silver Witch I don’t know how I should move around this place, as Delphina avoided talking about it, saying she didn’t understand.

”Welcome.” I quickly turn to see who spoke to me.

’I didn’t feel her presence...’ This was a bit scary even looking at the being in front of me, I don’t feel anything, it’s as if she’s a completely imperceptible piece of the scenery, I don’t even feel her mana.

’How different...’ The girl in front of me has skin as white as mine, has very dark green hair, and has wings similar to a bat, although the wings have a dark green shade that becomes almost black in some parts.

She has very large breasts and a very revealing black outfit that highlights her feminine qualities, she has dark green eyes that are a bit opaque, and on her head are white horns.

She also wears half a mask on the right side of her face the mask is white and has a unique shape, it’s not very large, leaving a large part of her face revealed, serving more to cover the eye and part of the forehead.

Something Delphina told me is that Aradia, the Silver Witch, symbolizes and represents all the goddesses, so she obtains characteristics from the existing goddesses.

Her wings symbolize the goddess of demons, her horns symbolize the goddess of dragons, the mask represents the goddess of humans, her pale skin represents the goddess of mermaids, since Delphina is albino.

Aradia also has a thin, long tail with a spear-like tip, this tail represents the goddess of beast-men.

Aradia’s teeth, or rather fangs, represent the goddess of the abyss, and her voluptuous body represents the goddess of elves.

It seems that characteristics of dead goddesses that have been reincarnated have been maintained, but there are certain characteristics of hers that I can’t say which goddess they are from.

I also don’t know which characteristic she got from me, but Delphina said that at the moment I became a goddess, something was added to her to represent me, and that something may not be obvious, and she may later have more of my characteristics.

’She uses a spear...she seems strong.’ She has a spear on her back, and this spear seems incredibly powerful it must be the weapon she uses to impose her authority to a certain extent.

The spear has a long, sharp point, with the side having two smaller blades, so if she fully penetrates with the spear, it will cause greater damage. In the point between the handle and the blade, there is a green diamond-shaped gem.

”...Could you guide me?” I ask while waiting for her response, and I also take the opportunity to appreciate her beautiful body.

”Please follow me, I will guide you to your quarters...or would you like to go somewhere else?”

’...I want to go see my mother..., but I think I’ll go to my quarters first.’

”We can go to my quarters, and in the meantime, could you explain this place to me?”

”Understood.” Aradia is cold, her responses have an apathetic and professional tone. She starts walking, and I follow her.

”This place functions through summarized concepts, a more limited form of creation. Here, any concept you know has been altered to simplify them to a certain extent.”

”The reason for this is that many goddesses gather here, and normal concepts can be drastically affected just by the presence of a goddess.”

”That’s why the simplified version of them can more easily withstand this influence without being broken or too deformed.”

’I understand, that’s why I can see things so far away.’ The concept of distance has been so simplified that distance no longer has much effect on vision, and this also explains the floating things.

”Naturally, the proper way to move around this place is by using gaps in space they can be found in places where the concept of space is less reduced.”

”Like here, you can notice that the space here is compressed. By passing through here, the distance between this place and the quarters is shortened to 2 meters.” I can notice a slight rift, but I can’t tell where it ends.

She enters the rift, and I follow her. Soon I’m in some all-white location, the ceiling and the space between the walls of the corridor is gigantic, I think it’s over 100 meters wide from one wall to the other, and the ceiling must be around 400 meters high.

”This is the quarters where the goddesses can spend some time. Avoid breaking things depending on what it is, you may be able to break it if it’s yours, like your room, but I can’t guarantee it will be fixed.”

”You can also use certain types of skills or magic in your room, but no attacking, manipulation, or mass destruction.”

”The allowed magic and skills are more related to things for your comfort. Also, harming or killing other goddesses outside of duels is forbidden and will result in punishment.”

’I already knew that.’

”Aradia, what did you inherit from me?” I question her.

”...”

”I have partially inherited the ability to change. My body can now adjust to a certain extent to the environment and others’ needs I really appreciate this change.”

’So she has a small adaptability capacity, and she also has the adjustment that occurs when I’m with a partner...’ It’s something less noticeable than I expected, but it’s still something from my body, so it makes sense.

”Did you inherit anything more notable? I know you can inherit more than one thing,” I ask with genuine curiosity.

”My tail has now become an erogenous zone...”

”Okay, no need to tell me more, let’s go to my room.” I really didn’t need to know that I was hoping for something more notable, it’s a shame they’re just minor things.

She guides me to my room, and it was strange because we arrived in seconds, but there were no doors, this place is so confusing.

”This is your room. It has certain modifications based on your personal preferences.”

”Entering the rooms of other goddesses is prohibited unless you have permission. Breaking this rule results in severe punishments. The rooms of goddesses who have died still exist, although such goddesses do not appear here.”

”Goddesses who have died and reincarnated no longer hold the position of goddesses, so they were not invited to participate.”

”If you need anything, just call me, and I’ll appear as soon as possible...I ask that you avoid causing trouble. If you want, you can take a stroll around the places, and I’ll come pick you up for the meeting later.”

”I understand, it really is based on my tastes.” There are posters of Mikael, Zephyra, and Delphina on the walls, some in rather seductive positions that I’ve already thought about doing.

I just didn’t do it because I didn’t want anyone to see them, but in this room, it’s perfect since no one will see them but me.

There’s also a life-size statue of Zephyra, with the colors perfectly recreated. There are also sex toys in a slightly hidden corner of the room.

The room is quite spacious and has many things of my preference. There are some books that I found interesting, and there are also materials for certain magic.

”I wonder if I can call Aradia for some training.” She’s quite strong, no doubt, and I can learn a lot from her.

Also, training here gives me an advantage for a simple reason: here, time passes normally like on the planet, but the time on the planet has stopped while it’s running normally here.

So the training here won’t affect what I gain while in the normal world, as no one will get stronger there.

’I guess my birthday is irrelevant...’ This makes me think that my birthday is irrelevant, since I have an infinite lifespan, so it might seem irrelevant to celebrate it.

But I think I still want to, so every year I’ll try to do something little for the occasion.
