CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1970: Chapter 1978: After the Meeting

Sure enough, the buzzing sound came through the phone, and Jane Sampson couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

After making the call, Jane Sampson turned to look at Rock Bell and found him looking at his mobile phone.

”Sister Tin~” Jane Sampson leaned in for a glance, only then did Rock Bell lift his gaze towards her.

”Fans of you and James Carter on Twitter are spontaneously resisting the reporters staking out at the hotel and the film set. They’re publicly denouncing these reporters online for seriously impacting your and James Carter’s work and private lives as well as the filming progress of the entire crew. This denunciation has already become a hot topic.”

As Rock Bell spoke about these matters, there was a hint of surprise in his gaze, and he praised, ”You and James Carter’s fans are quite outstanding.”

”Really? Let me take a look~” Jane Sampson hurriedly logged into Twitter for a glance and found it just as Rock Bell said.

However, this topic hadn’t been around for long, so the popularity wasn’t very high yet, and it hadn’t climbed onto the topic list ranking.

”While you were making a call just now, I discussed with your director and James Carter in the WhatsAPP group. We felt that just waiting around wasn’t a solution. These reporters wouldn’t leave without interviewing you and James Carter; it seems each of them is here with a mission.”

Rock Bell said, ”The director’s idea is to gather these reporters and hold a press conference, giving them a chance to interview you and James Carter. Once they’ve interviewed you, they will naturally leave to complete their mission, and you and James Carter can resume normal filming. James Carter agreed.”

”I agree too.” Jane Sampson nodded, ”It’s already been delayed for two days. Continuing to delay burns the crew’s funding every day and also wastes other crew members’ time, which isn’t good.”

The director is anxious, and every member of the crew is anxious. Everyone wants to finish the drama as soon as possible. After all, most people have tight schedules; unlike Jane Sampson, who will have several months of rest after finishing this drama, everyone else is waiting to complete their next work after this one.

Rock Bell acknowledged with a sound and then sent a reply to the director in the WhatsAPP group. Two minutes later, Rock Bell turned to Jane Sampson and said, ”The director has set the time for today at 8:30.”

”Is the location here?” Jane Sampson asked.

”Yes, in the grand conference room on the sixth floor.” Rock Bell was still typing on his phone when he answered and, hearing Jane Sampson’s question, responded before saying, ”You still have time to rest for a bit, then the makeup artist will come to do your makeup. After you head to the sixth floor, Harry Little Money will stay behind to help send your luggage to the crew’s hotel, then wait for you in the room over there. Coco, your two bodyguards, and I will accompany you up to the sixth floor.”

Speaking of which, Rock Bell finally lifted his head to look at Jane Sampson, ”After the meeting, I’ll take a trip to Hang City for some business. You and James Carter will follow the hotel person in charge directly to the underground parking lot to take the car back to the crew’s hotel. By the way, the director has changed the room for you and James Carter. You’re not going back to the original room. At that point, we’ll let out some rumors to make people mistakenly think you and James Carter are still staying here.”

The press conference is being held here, so these reporters will certainly come early to stake out. When asked, they’ll definitely know Jane Sampson and James Carter have been staying here for the past two days.
