706: Chapter 119: When Cherry Blossoms Dance 706: Chapter 119: When Cherry Blossoms Dance The dilapidated rubble gradually revealed nothing more than an abandoned village, devoid of any human presence.

Not even the small animals in the mountains could be found, and the surroundings were filled with a deathly stillness.

If you were to paint this desolate village below in black and white, then the land here would truly resemble the color black.

“Is this place really the origin of the world’s disturbance as Father God and Mother God mentioned?” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto frowned, “Elder Sister Amaterasu, when we discussed this earlier, your subordinate, Awaji Island Princess, didn’t mention this place being a land of death.”

Amaterasu-ōmikami’s expression was slightly grave, “I also feel it’s strange.

But Father God and Mother God can’t be wrong…

We should send a vanguard down to investigate thoroughly.”

“Agreed.” Susanoo-no-Mikoto promptly agreed without hesitation.

He didn’t care much for such formalities, and he always believed in the supremacy of force.

If there was ever any dissatisfaction, it could be crushed with sheer power; in the face of overwhelming strength, any strategy was trivial.

So, he simply waved his hand, and a team of over a hundred Evil Ghosts charged downward.

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, however, said calmly, “Those Evil Ghosts only know how to fight, using them for investigation might not be appropriate, it’s better to add my subordinates to the mix.”

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto also waved his hand, but only dispatched ten Reincarnated Monsters from the Land of Night—naturally, due to their elite path, these ten Reincarnated Monsters were not inferior to the hundred Evil Ghosts in terms of combat strength, and were significantly more maneuverable than the Sea Monster.

“Include mine as well, as part of a joint investigation team.” Amaterasu-ōmikami then spoke slowly, waving her delicate hand, and behind her, several divine beings who had ascended from all things also descended directly into the ruins below.

Although Takamagahara boasts the Myriad Gods, only a few are truly formidable in combat prowess.

On average, an individual so-called god might not even be able to defeat an ordinary Evil Ghost under Susanoo-no-Mikoto…

However, the massive number of Eight Million Gods can indeed leave one feeling somewhat helpless.

At this time, the joint forces of the three factions had already converged at one spot.

These Evil Ghosts, gods, and Reincarnated Monsters knew well that they were acting under the watchful gaze of their respective Divine Lords, and thus dared not be careless, even the Evil Ghosts, who were used to brutality, were trying to be as cautious as possible.

“There’s nothing to see here, just a pile of broken stones and houses.” But one of the Evil Ghosts quickly lost patience and punched a collapsed mud wall, immediately smashing it to pieces.

“Hey, where’s this fog coming from?” At this moment, one of the Earth-bound Spirits from Amaterasu’s side suddenly furrowed his brow.

This shout made the joint teams of the three factions vaguely aware of something amiss.

They looked up and saw that above them, they were already shrouded in a dense fog without knowing when…

In the blink of an eye, these grayish mist had obscured everything!

The same situation wasn’t just noticed by the joint investigation team; the Three Nobles in the sky observed it simultaneously.

As the team became completely enveloped by the suddenly appearing dense fog, Susanoo-no-Mikoto snorted coldly and chopped downwards at the void within the fog with a palm knife.

A massive airflow, accompanied by the howling wind, sliced through the gray fog, yet those dense mists reassembled almost immediately after being cut!

Susanoo-no-Mikoto’s attack seemed to plunge into water, dissipating without a trace.

“Wind God!” Amaterasu-ōmikami beckoned casually.

Out from the Eight Million Gods of Takamagahara flew a towering figure filled with malice, a set of Nine Rings small drums slung across its back, who summoned a gale directly at the thick fog below!

“It won’t disperse!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto secretly frowned, for even the Wind God under Amaterasu failed to blow away the mist, indicating it wasn’t ordinary fog at all!

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’s pupils transformed into spiral patterns, desperately trying to pierce through!

The more he looked, the more alarmed he became, his expression sinking deeply, “Elder Sister Amaterasu, this eerie mist is blocking even my pupil vision…

It’s indeed extraordinarily strange!”

“Tsukuyomi, even you…” Susanoo-no-Mikoto was taken aback, then fell silent, lost in thought.

At this moment, Amaterasu-ōmikami performed a move that both Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto found shocking—Amaterasu-ōmikami directly commanded all the divine beings of Takamagahara to plunge into the dense fog!

The claim of Eight Million Gods…

it’s more of a figure of speech, perhaps one day as Takamagahara exists long enough, they might gather such a number.

All things considered, it’s not now; if they have a few ten thousand gods now, it’s already remarkable.

And yet, even tens of thousands is a large number—a number that made the presence of the mysterious fog seem small and insufficient to accommodate the several tens of thousands of so-called Eight Million Gods.

“Tsukuyomi, Susa!

Don’t just stand there!” Amaterasu-ōmikami’s voice chilled, “This is about the safety of the Yan Wuyue World, especially now when the roles of divine power are erratic.

Otherwise, if Father God and Mother God hold us accountable, not even we, the Three Nobles, can bear the consequences!”

Susa is another name for Susanoo-no-Mikoto, but he detests being called that.

Amaterasu shamelessly used it now, causing Susanoo-no-Mikoto’s face under the Ghost Mask to twitch, but knowing the gravity of the situation, he simply snorted and directed, “All Evil Ghosts, go down!”

Seeing this, Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto also ordered his troops of Reincarnated Monsters and Reincarnated Samurai to proceed.

He refused to believe such a small patch of mist could ‘swallow’ all the subordinates brought by the Three Nobles!

Roar!!!

Roar!!!!

A thundering momentum propelled the Eight Million Gods, Evil Ghosts, Reincarnated Samurai, and Monsters into the dense mist.

Such a formidable lineup filled the ranks beneath the three nobles, brimming with confidence—yet, they gradually realized that this was far from simple!

The number charging into the fog increased at an alarming rate, but the fog showed no sign of change!

After a large proportion of the troops entered the mist, numerous ‘gods’ hesitated, halting outside the dense fog…

Followed by Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’s Reincarnated Samurai and Monsters.

Before long, even the notoriously dim-witted Evil Ghosts sensed something was wrong.

They too stopped, glaring with bulging eyes at the subordinates of the other two nobles, as if to say: We’re not foolish!

“Insolence!

Did I allow you to stop?”

Suddenly, Amaterasu-ōmikami’s piercing voice echoed all around!

This Amaterasu-ōmikami governed Takamagahara, who among the Eight Million Gods wasn’t held in her true name?

Their life and death were at her whim!

Even though the dense fog presented clear dangers, they had no choice but to press on—after all, the mist’s peril hadn’t proven lethal, but defying Amaterasu-ōmikami’s command could mean destruction of their true names…

“Charge!

For the Divine Lord!”

It wasn’t clear who among the Eight Million Gods shouted, but instantly, the Takamagahara forces resumed their aggressive charge, swarming into the fog like bees disturbed from a hive.

“Tsukuyomi, Susa!

Leave no reserves!

This is for the Yan Wuyue World created by Father God and Mother God!” Amaterasu-ōmikami spoke solemnly, “Surely you sense the world’s authority frantically shifting, with our divine positions becoming precarious!”

With Amaterasu-ōmikami’s words, the sky suddenly shuddered as the earth began to quake!

“You mean the heavens have…

changed!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto was shaken to his core, his expression shifting rapidly!

Only Three Nobles knew of the divine positions, and only they could sense it—in Yan Wuyue World, only these were the true godly positions, the basis of the Three Nobles’ rule!

Don’t be misled by the self-proclaimed gods of Takamagahara; they were merely Amaterasu-ōmikami’s gimmicks, serving little real purpose!

“Who is altering the world’s rules…” The famously valiant Susanoo-no-Mikoto now felt terror, a chilling realization grasped his heart as if standing at a cliff’s edge!

“Evil Ghosts!

Go down!

Fill the mist to the brim!”

Impatiently, Susanoo-no-Mikoto no longer hesitated!

The Death of these Evil Ghosts could be slowly cultivated again, but if the rules of heaven changed, a Susanoo-no-Mikoto would cease to exist!

“Reincarnated Monsters, Reincarnated Samurai, fight for glory!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’s expression turned solemn, and the spiral in his pupils emitted a peculiar, clear light!

Boom!!!

A sudden loud crash, the upheaval between Heaven and Earth unexpectedly intensified at this moment, as a huge mountain in the distance directly collapsed!

Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto looked simultaneously, only to feel their divine positions were unsteady, the world powers bestowed upon them even started to become violently uncontrollable, as if they were about to break free and leave at any moment!

“What on earth is this devilish thing!!

Look as I cut it down!”

Susanoo-no-Mikoto roared furiously at this time, instantly pulling out the weapon from his waist—an odd dark red katana called the Ten Fists Sword, already broken, this weapon was second only to the Ten Fists Sword in Susanoo-no-Mikoto’s collection.

But as Susanoo-no-Mikoto was about to rush into the thick fog, he saw it surging as if something was about to break out from inside!

A massive shadow, followed by eight gigantic heads, burst out from the fog in an instant!

The eight enormous heads turned endlessly in different directions, with sixteen fierce eyes solely fixed on Susanoo-no-Mikoto!

“Yamata no Orochi…

why are you here!!

You can’t possibly appear here!!!

I will not fear you!!”

Susanoo-no-Mikoto frantically raised his treasured sword, striking hard at one of the giant snake heads, slashing one after another, but after cutting off the snake head, it immediately grew back!!!

“Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!”

…

“He must be assisted…

what is he doing?”

Tusukuyomi-no-Mikoto, at this moment, cold sweat pouring, his beautifully unparalleled face instantly turned gray from illness!

Before his eyes, Susanoo-no-Mikoto of the Three Nobles now seemed insane, wildly waving his weapon around in anger and roaring furiously!

“Could Susanoo have fallen into an illusion technique?!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto considered this possibility, growing even more terrified—making Susanoo-no-Mikoto, this man of slaughter, trapped in an illusion, how terrifying the hidden black evil demon behind must be, with its world-stealing ominous means!

“Amaterasu, I can’t sit idly by!

If we lose Susanoo-no-Mikoto, it will be even more disadvantageous to us!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto couldn’t bother to affectionately call elder sister, directly looking at Amaterasu-ōmikami, but his just one glance made Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto frown, “Amaterasu, why are you smiling at this time?”

“Because I’m happy.” Amaterasu-ōmikami now showed a strange smile, pointing down at the crazed Susanoo-no-Mikoto, lightly laughing and saying, “Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, do you not plan to accompany Susanoo-no-Mikoto?

He became a man with you among the Three Nobles!”

“Amaterasu, what exactly are you saying… no!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto suddenly thought of something extremely terrifying!

Even if it truly is a world crisis, Amaterasu-ōmikami would not be so direct, commanding all her subordinates to charge ahead!

She would only use her status to coerce Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto and Susanoo-no-Mikoto to act first!

And these weird remarks…

“Who… who exactly are you?”

“Me?” Amaterasu-ōmikami smiled slightly, “Of course, I am you, aren’t I?

Look at my appearance!”

In front of his eyes, Amaterasu-ōmikami suddenly transformed into Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’s form—from appearance to demeanor, even the faint divine power, it was all identical!

“Impossible!

You evil demon!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto retrieved a small tachi from his body, holding it reverse… Amaterasu might have already fallen, now that Susanoo-no-Mikoto is caught in the trap and has gone mad, he can only rely on himself to get through this crisis!

“With what will you?” ‘Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’ sneered coldly, “Look again at who I am?!”

‘Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto’ turned once more, unexpectedly transforming into a dignified, extraordinarily noble lady dressed in white and red, with a face pale as blood!

“Izanami… Mother God!” Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto was startled, suddenly awakening: “Don’t fool me!

You evil demon!”

‘Izanami’ then gently waved and said: “With such disrespect upon seeing me, accept your punishment!

I will strip you of your powers as one of the Three Nobles, from now on, you shall be human!”

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto only felt the power brought by his divine position, crazily flowing away at this moment, in an instant, his body began to wither, and his hair fell one by one…

“This isn’t me… this isn’t me!!”

Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto staring in horror at his shriveled, skeletal hands, shouted frantically, “This isn’t me!!!

Don’t… don’t take away my power!

Mother God, I was wrong!!

I truly was wrong!!

Don’t take away my power!!”

‘Izanami’ remained motionless, only revealed that eerie smile from the beginning.

…

…

Da Zhe rubbed his chin, curiously looking at the maid sister beside him, “Ms.

You Ye, have these guys all gone foolish?”

“They’re not foolish.” The maid said calmly: “It’s merely that they cannot prevail against what terrifies them inside.”

“Is that so…” Da Zhe shook his head.

In front, everywhere, filled with the subordinates of the Three Nobles, various Eight Million Gods, Evil Ghosts, or reincarnated samurai and monsters, seemed to be under the influence of drugs, laughing insanely, crying loudly, some even shouting, just like Susanoo-no-Mikoto whom he had faced once, like a psychiatric hospital patient.

Of course, among these, Da Zhe did see the kimono girl beside Arex… maybe her name is Miki?

Rumble…

The earth began to shake at this time, a crack opened in the dilapidated Zaodao Village ahead, followed by something crazily stretching out!

Like a huge pillar… a tree trunk!

This tree trunk grew frantically, exceeding the height of the mountains in no time!

It was even expanding!

Meanwhile, the roots below stretched wildly, absorbing every Eight Million Gods, Evil Ghosts, reincarnated monsters, and samurai, entirely!

These subordinates of the Three Nobles were directly absorbed by the roots, their heads barely exposed, as this trunk emerging from the earth acquired immense nutrients, its top began to sprout numerous branches… then leaves!

“Arex, is this your masterpiece?

A world-class nightmare… not bad at all.” You Ye suddenly turned to look behind.

Da Zhe suddenly startled, hurriedly turned as well, unexpectedly seeing the eerie fellow he encountered when initially arriving at the Yan Wuyue World—Arex!

“Pretty?” Arex smiled slightly, “This container of mine.”

A touch of pink appeared at the crown of the tree, then spread to all its branches.

Cherry blossoms unexpectedly bloomed.

But spring had not arrived.
