648: Chapter 61: Name 648: Chapter 61: Name The Eighth Institute.

This is what the people dressed in white uniforms, all armed with powerful weapons, told her when they brought her to this place.

And she was just a five or six-year-old child who had to look up to see the chins of these people in white uniforms.

A little girl wearing clothes prepared by these people, already washed clean—she encountered many people along the way in this place, all dressed in white uniforms, and she couldn’t figure out what they were doing.

Because to her, everything here was beyond her comprehension.

Right—ever since her parents died tragically, the world had been beyond her understanding.

The little girl looked at her clothes—a single piece without distinction of top or bottom, without pockets, just simply covering her body like a robe.

Pinned to her chest was something like a badge, with a line of numbers on it.

Her mother had taught her numbers, so she recognized what it said: 1031.

“Go inside.

From now on, live here.

As long as you follow the rules, you can survive.

If you become strong, you can stand out.

This is the only advice for you…

Welcome to the Eighth Institute.”

They opened a door in front of her and pushed her directly into the place—after that, the door automatically closed.

Pressing her back against the closed door, she fearfully observed everything before her—there were many people dressed like her.

From those around her age to about eleven or twelve years old, she noticed that there were quite a few children here, seemingly too many to count in an instant.

However, none of these children seemed willing to approach her, even after she had been in the room for several minutes; they merely watched her silently.

As a newcomer, she tried to reach out to those who arrived before her.

“Don’t come near me.”

“Go away.”

After many failed attempts, she finally realized that people here…

didn’t like others getting close.

Even in this shared room, everyone maintained a certain distance as if marked territories.

“Come over here.”

She heard a voice—it was another girl, about ten years old, also wearing a badge which read: 791.

The children’s gazes suddenly turned strange…

She thought of the hostile dogs she’d seen, staring with animosity.

In the end, she timidly walked over to the ten-year-old girl who called her.

“Don’t mind them; they’re not targeting you, just everyone here.” The ten-year-old girl said—it was her first sentence.

“Why?” She asked, very puzzled.

The ten-year-old smiled, “Because there are no friends here, no one wants to share or play with you—not even me, of course.”

“I don’t understand…” She shook her head.

“You’ll understand later,” the other said with a warm and irresistible feeling, “As for why I called you?

It’s because I’m smarter than the others.

Listen, from now on, you and I are partners, understood, 1031!”

“1031?”

“Yes, your name is 1031,” the ten-year-old pointed to her own badge at the same time, “And I’m 791.”

She shook her head, “I’m not called 1031, my name is Choe Yoon Ah!

It’s the name my mom gave me!”

“Is that so?” 791 shrugged, “Then forget that name, because here, you can only be called 1031…

I should warn you ahead, if the people outside call for 1031 and you don’t respond, you’ll suffer quite a bit.

Got it?

1031!”

“My name is Choe Yoon Ah!

That’s the name my mom gave me!

I am not 1031!” She said loudly, tears welling in her eyes.

“Suit yourself,” 791 said indifferently, “Then we’re not allies.

When you come around, only then will our relationship continue.”

Later, she experienced the so-called suffering 791 mentioned—it was her second day at the Eighth Institute.

She was locked in a pitch-black small room, unaware of day or night; no matter how much she cried or made a fuss, there was no response, and without food or water, she was left until she was on the brink of death and finally released.

“Do you understand now?” 791 appeared before her once again, “Now, tell me, what’s your name?”

She curled up, even lowered her head, and fearfully said in a small voice, “1…

1031.”

“Good, 1031.” 791 smiled, and in the next instant, covered her mouth with a kiss, biting her lip and drawing blood.

“What are you doing!” She exclaimed in horror again.

791 smiled softly, “It’s a contract.

From now on, we’re allies…

1031, join me in killing everyone here.”

Kill…

Kill everyone.

…

…

When she woke up, it was already morning—on an exceptionally soft hotel bed, Nero sat up, the blanket sliding off to reveal the shocking scars on her body.

She reached up to touch her lips, and then smiled, stretching lazily, “What an enjoyable time…

It’s different having someone to protect you… right, boss?”

Nero tilted her head, looking at the club owner sitting quietly on the sofa in the corner of the hotel suite.

Upon hearing her voice, Luo Qiu opened his eyes.

He noticed this guest had no intention of avoiding anything, sitting cross-legged on the bed, with one hand propping her chin, looking boldly over.

Luo Qiu smiled, “It seems Ms.

Nero had a very restful sleep.”

“Of course,” Nero nodded, “Because with a reliable boss like you, I was able to sleep very soundly, even had a nice dream, thank you very much.”

“You’re welcome,” Luo Qiu said indifferently, “By the way, there are 7 hours left of the guest’s protection time.”

Nero had used 13 hours of the 20-hour protection time—to sleep, even sleeping in the nude…

“That was a lavish sleep, wasn’t it?” Nero stretched again, then got out of bed, holding the thin quilt as she walked over to Boss Luo, tilting her head to look him over, “Boss, not even a little bit tempted?”

“Ms.

Nero has a great physique,” Boss Luo nodded, “Very fit.”

“Legs…

do you like them?”

Nero suddenly lifted her foot, gently placing it near Luo Qiu as she slowly raised the sheet covering her legs.

Unlike her upper body, marred with scars, the skin on her thighs was a strikingly fit and smooth color.

As the sheet was lifted enough, you could even see the blue veins running beneath her nearly alabaster skin.

“Want to see more?” Nero squinted, “Consider it a reward for your hard work all night, boss.”

“Three minutes,” Luo Qiu suddenly interjected.

“What?”

Luo Qiu reiterated, “Three minutes have already been deducted from the protection time, my guest.”

“You’re difficult…” Nero sighed, shook her head, “I’m quite confident in my body, but it seems now…”

Nero turned around, looking over her shoulder at her own shoulder, the sheet dropping entirely from her back, where the spiderweb-like scars stood out starkly, “It still… feels rather ugly?”

“If Ms.

Nero doesn’t like it, I would suggest you purchase the store’s service,” Boss Luo said indifferently, “The removal of those scars isn’t expensive.”

“This is the wrong script, boss?” Nero laughed, “The mood was just right, you know?

Perhaps if you said something handsome, I’d fall for you?”

“There’s no discount, even so, guest,” Luo Qiu said indifferently, “The Burning Black Card is already your discount voucher.”

“I think I quite dislike merchants,” Nero shook her head as she dropped the sheet she had held.

Just wearing a pair of underwear, seemingly unconcerned, she added, “I’m going to take a bath, could you call for breakfast service?”

“Of course,” Luo Qiu smiled, “Enjoy your bath.”

“You can come in and watch anytime,” Nero shrugged, “I’m not going to close the door~”

…

Hot water ran down her body, Nero closing her eyes for a long time before stopping the shower, watching the water drip from her wet hair.

“It’s true, when you completely relax…

you dream again…”

She shook her head, pushing all the hair back, then with her finger, wrote several numbers on the fogged-up mirror—1031.

She wiped them away with her palm, then shrugged, hanging a towel around her neck as she walked out of the bathroom, “Boss, is breakfast here yet?

I’m starving!”

So…

you really have no intention of getting dressed?

Boss Luo sighed.
