The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2294: Imperium Blade: Eternal Conquest Form

Reaper Touch had already reached the Alpha–Omega Overgod Rank, but that did not mean the end of its growth. On the contrary, it had only just stepped into that realm, standing at the very bottom of the rank’s vast hierarchy.

There was still immense room for advancement. More importantly, given the nature of Scarlet Reaper, Cain sensed that Reaper Touch itself might one day surpass the limits of the Alpha–Omega Overgod Rank altogether.

It would not be an easy journey. Such evolution would require oceans of Origin Power and devouring enemies of terrifying caliber. Yet if he succeeded, the destructive potential he wielded would reach a level few beings across the realms could even imagine.

With the matter of ability refinement settled, Cain turned his attention to the treasures he had seized from the Neo-Angel. Naturally, his gaze first fell upon the dagger.

A faint smile appeared as he grasped the weapon. The Natural Inheritance hummed softly in his hand, its blade shimmering with spatial distortions. When he had first encountered it, Cain had pushed himself beyond his limits in an attempt to claim it, only to watch it slip into Urin’s possession. Now, fate had reversed itself.

”The power to sunder space itself and generate dimensional rifts,” Cain murmured. ”Impressive... but once again, not suited to me.”

Cain had long understood that there was no such thing as an objectively strongest weapon—only the weapon best suited to its wielder. His path emphasized overwhelming physical might, relentless pressure, and absolute destruction. Sky Devourer complemented that style perfectly. The dagger, while formidable, would never integrate seamlessly with his combat rhythm.

That did not make it worthless. On the contrary, it was an extraordinary bargaining chip, one that could be exchanged for treasures far more aligned with his needs.

He then shifted his attention to Urin’s accumulated resources.

”Hah... as expected from an Alpha–Omega Overgod who controlled more than half of the Second Realm,” Cain laughed softly. ”She was absurdly wealthy.”

Vast stores of Origin Power, rare materials, sealed relics, and cultivation resources filled his spatial reserves. With these assets alone, Cain would not need to worry about resources for a very long time. As for the spoils taken from the two Late ArchDeities he had slain afterward, they were respectable, though nothing extraordinary by his standards.

Once all improvements and acquisitions were accounted for, Cain lifted his gaze toward the horizon.

In the distance, Zarazel and Meylin continued leading the forces of the Life Path, reclaiming territories and dismantling the Eternal Kingdoms forged by the Freedom Path. The campaign was proceeding smoothly, but it would take time before their task was complete.

Cain had no intention of wasting that time.

Turning inward, he began to analyze his own battle style. Almost immediately, a flaw stood out: his swordplay was beginning to lag behind his raw power. His strength had grown explosively, yet his techniques had not fully caught up.

He briefly considered adapting some of the techniques hidden within Urin’s memories, but dismissed the idea just as quickly.

”Imperium is nearing completion,” Cain muttered. ”My sword must serve my Dream—not the other way around. I need my own technique.”

His grip tightened around Sky Devourer.

With his soul force now firmly within the Alpha–Omega Overgod Rank, Cain possessed the foundation necessary to forge techniques imbued with the essence of Oniric Truths themselves. Combined with the countless sword arts stored in his memories and the guidance of his Supercomputer Assistance, he was more than capable of achieving it.

Ascending to the highest reaches of the sky, Cain drew a slow breath and closed his eyes.

Imperium surged within him. Endless sword forms, concepts, and movements flowed through his mind—each refined, analyzed, discarded, or merged. He did not move immediately. Instead, he allowed the idea to mature.

Twelve hours passed.

Cain’s eyes opened.

He began to move.

Scarlet flames coiled around Sky Devourer as his body flowed through deliberate, controlled motions. At first, his strikes were measured and restrained. Then, gradually, they grew heavier. Sharper. More refined. Each swing carried greater authority, greater clarity.

The energy surrounding the blade intensified, no longer chaotic, but tightly compressed and perfectly channeled. The scarlet flames transformed into incandescent plasma, radiating oppressive force.

A crushing pressure spread through the surrounding space.

The air slowed. Space thickened. Even time itself seemed to hesitate.

In Cain’s mind, an enemy took form.

He shifted into defensive maneuvers, each movement refining his timing and control. Every block revealed flaws. Every flaw was corrected. Then he transitioned into offense, his strikes growing more decisive, more overwhelming. Each exchange honed the technique further.

Again and again, the process repeated.

Seven days passed.

When Meylin and the forces of the Life Path finally returned, they were met with a sight that stole the breath from their lungs.

Cain hovered alone in the sky, his sword tracing arcs of power that made cosmic laws tremble. Reality bent subtly with each movement, as if the world itself were yielding to his will. With every strike, the surrounding rules grew purer, more refined.

”An Alpha–Omega Overgod technique... in the making,” Zarazel said solemnly, awe woven unmistakably into his voice.

The gathered ArchDeities nodded in silent amazement. They understood at once—this was not merely talent. It was the manifestation of Cain’s Dream itself. A technique that no one else could replicate.

Cain halted his movements and glanced down at Sky Devourer, satisfaction shining in his eyes.

”Imperium Blade: Eternal Conquest Form.”

The technique was not yet perfected, but its power was undeniable. It amplified Cain’s strength while simultaneously weakening his opponent, exerting absolute dominance over the battlefield. At its peak, it could erupt in a single heartbeat with catastrophic force.

”I still need to polish it,” Cain said calmly, ”but it will allow me to wield the full authority of my Dream in the coming battles.”

After that, Cain stored the sword and turned toward the True Depravita.

Zarazel met his gaze and understood the message instantly. Turning to the assembled ArchDeities, the True Depravita of Fear issued his command.

”Return to your domains. Secure them. Move the Divine Kingdoms from the Void into the reclaimed landmasses.”

The ArchDeities nodded and departed, determination burning in their eyes.

Only one remained behind.

The Enlightened One.

He stepped forward, his gaze steady as he looked at Cain. ”If you intend to advance further,” he said solemnly, ”I would like to accompany you.”
