The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2270: Surpassing the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Stage!

The Guardian of the Root collided with Cain with such overwhelming force that space-time fractured around them. The impact hurled both combatants downward, crashing through the floor of the Ninth Layer and driving them back into the Eighth.

Cain clenched his teeth as the creature’s enormous frame pressed him into the lower layers, yet he refused to yield. He drove his fists into the Guardian’s skull again and again, cracking its bark-like bone with every strike. But the monster regenerated just as quickly, its flesh reknitting even as Cain shattered it, and its immense strength forced both of them downward until they broke into the Seventh Layer.

Cipher, Zephirax, Amara, Arkam, Uriel, and the five generals were locked in a fierce battle against a High Lord of the Root when the sky above them ruptured.

The Scarlet King and the Guardian slammed through the upper layer and appeared overhead like twin comets of destruction. Every warrior froze for half a heartbeat as the aura of the two beings washed over them—an oppressive, crushing force that made even the High Lord’s presence seem small.

Then things grew even more unbelievable.

Cain broke free of the Guardian’s tackle in a burst of power, forming an Endsphere in his hand and immediately transforming it into a cannon using Resurreccion’s Innate Ability.

He slammed it directly into the Guardian’s chest. The blast hurled the monster backward, obliterating everything in its path.

Before even a heartbeat had passed, Cain shot upward with overwhelming speed. Thirteen Gear roared through his body, pushing him past physical constraints as he reappeared in the Ninth Layer.

With all the momentum of his ascent, he struck the massive cocoon containing the decapitated head, blasting open a hole through its regenerating shell. He extended his right hand and unleashed another Endsphere cannon.

A cold, brutal smile appeared on Cain’s face as he saw flesh and muscle on the monstrous head begin to liquefy under the combined annihilating force of Nihility and Entropy.

He poured more and more energy into the attack, forcing the beam deeper until it reached the skull. Only then did he see the countless dark orange cosmic runes carved deep within the bone—the true core of the head’s power.

But before Cain could push further, the Guardian of the Root reappeared. Its entire torso had been obliterated moments ago, yet now it was fully restored. With a roar, it slammed into Cain and blasted him across the Ninth Layer.

Cain’s body crashed into the sky of the layer, the impact leaving a crater of fractured light, but he regained control before falling into the Eighth Layer again.

Just as he steadied himself, a crushing pain speared through his chest. Thirteen Gear was powerful—almost transcendent—but it was lethal. Every heartbeat tore his heart to pieces, only for the Samsara Immortal Body and the Tribulation Enhancement to rebuild it instantly. He was burning himself alive, but he had no other path. Victory demanded everything.

His eyes immediately snapped toward the cocoon—and fury ignited in him as he watched the hole he had opened seal shut at once. At this rate he would never be able to finish the decapitated head with the Guardian regenerating so quickly.

Rage and determination burned across his soul as he roared. ”Let’s see how long the Root can fix you once I atomize every iota of your cosmic essence!”

Cain vanished, reappearing directly before the Guardian. He seized the monster’s head and blasted forward, using its body as a battering ram. They tore across the layers of the Root in a streak of destruction before Cain triggered a massive explosion of Entropy and Nihility, large enough to swallow moons.

The Guardian of the Root was obliterated, torn into countless fragments—but it immediately began to reform.

It barely managed to regenerate its head before Cain struck again, sending its body flying across the ground of the Seventh Layer. Flesh and cosmic essence ruptured beneath the impact, leaving a massive canyon behind. Cain followed with a kick to its chest, destroying its torso and sending it hurtling all the way back to the Eighth Layer.

Cain’s power, while enhanced by Tribulation Enhancement, burning his existence and wielding Thirteen Gear, was monstrous—surpassing even the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Stage!

But the Guardian of the Root was no lesser being. Despite the overwhelming force behind Cain’s blows, the monster counterattacked, slamming its fist into Cain’s ribs and blasting him through the floor of the Eighth Layer.

Cain tasted blood rising in his throat, but didn’t lose a moment. He launched himself back into the battle, his determination burning brighter than the pain. He needed to destroy the monster’s core essence. Only by annihilating its cosmic foundation could he overwhelm its regeneration and gain the precious seconds necessary to finish off the decapitated head once and for all.

The battle between the Scarlet King and the Guardian of the Root no longer resembled any conventional fight. Their clashes erupted with world-breaking force, each explosion capable of setting continents ablaze and killing anything beneath the Third Realm. To the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, the sight was staggering—terrifying and awe-inspiring in equal measure.

From the beginning, they had expected a battlefield of unimaginable magnitude, but what unfolded before them transcended even their expectations. This was not simply a struggle of gods. It was a collision of forces that bent reality itself.

Leonidas fought in the Seventh Layer, cold-eyed and resolute as he burned his life force and soul, wielding the full might of Liberación Total alongside Bael. The High Lord before them released a monstrous shockwave of decaying force that pushed both warriors back, cracking their bones and shaking their souls. Just as the abomination prepared to strike again, the ground beneath them shattered.

Cain descended like a meteor, dragging the Guardian of the Root by its skull. He used the monster as a battering ram once more, swinging it downward before curving into a violent turn and detonating an Endsphere explosion directly into the High Lord’s chest.

The blast hurled the Guardian back into the lower layers, carving a corridor of destruction that split sky and earth alike as Cain chased.

Leonidas and Bael stared in speechless shock—but only for an instant. Their eyes ignited with fierce determination, and they pushed themselves harder than ever, determined to unleash power worthy of the Scarlet Kingdom.
