The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2263: Final preparations

Cain nodded to the True Primordial of the Void, accepting Anark’s resolve without comment. At the very least, that was one burden he would not need to worry about. With that settled, he rose from his seat in the Golden Hall and stepped into one of the empty chambers. There he waited for the ArchDeities to arrive, his presence calm but his mind already several steps ahead.

Through the scanning force field of the [A.I. Chip Module], he monitored the unfolding conversations across the forces of the five Empyrean Worlds.

Arkam, Amara, Uriel, and the others were informing their forces of the new command structure—declaring Cain the newly appointed Warmaster of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. Predictably, this stirred unrest.

That was especially true among the factions that were ruled by the Dark Races and that had a history of xenophobia. Many resisted the idea of following someone who looked, to their eyes, too human, even if he was technically a Primordial.

But Amara and Uriel were not leaders who tolerated disobedience. They exercised firm control over their factions and crushed dissent the moment it surfaced. For some, the lesson was delivered with a brutality that left no room for misinterpretation. By the time the echo of resistance faded, the matter was settled: their forces would obey Cain’s commands, whether they liked it or not.

With the rebellious elements subdued, the most powerful entities began to gather. One after another, the ArchDeities arrived in the chamber, each entering with a carefully measured composure.

Even those who resented Cain’s authority made no attempt to display their displeasure. The memory of the Red King—its presence, its overwhelming aura—remained etched into their souls. None wished to test the patience of the Scarlet King, especially when they could not understand the relationship between the two.

Cain greeted them all without prejudice. Whatever his private feelings toward any individual, they would soon fight at his side. For their sake and his own, he intended to strengthen them to the fullest.

He lifted his hand, summoned a flame with 40 colors, and began.

A colossal surge of world energy erupted from the void beyond the Golden Hall, flooding the chamber like a tidal wave of radiance and force.

Energy poured into the bodies of the ArchDeities, stripping away imperfections, reforging their Sacred Organs, and strengthening every aspect of their cultivation. The Hall trembled with each wave of power. The process repeated again and again.

For those at the Early ArchDeity Rank, the transformation was monumental. Their potential rose by ten to fifteen percent, their future paths widened, and the barriers that once confined their growth weakened noticeably. Such improvement would normally demand centuries of dangerous cultivation.

For those in the Middle Stage and above, the power of an Early ArchDeity Tier Tribulation Enhancement lacked the power to improve their foundation or talent, but that does not mean they were useless.

Every lingering injury—scars from ancient battles, fractures in their spiritual foundations, wounds long considered permanent—healed completely. Energy flowed through them with a purity they had not felt in ages.

When each ArchDeity completed the process and turned to leave, awe filled their eyes. They felt lighter, stronger, more whole. Even those who had doubted Cain’s right to command found their opinions shifting. Power was the language of the Empyrean Worlds, and Cain had just spoken it with unquestionable mastery.

Cain offered only a faint smile. He acknowledged their progress, but he refused to sink into distraction. There was still too much work ahead. He began the next refinement the moment the last one ended, continuing until exhaustion gnawed at the edges of his consciousness.

Seven days passed in unbroken focus.

At the end of the seventh day, every ArchDeity of the Alliance had been refined. Their talent had risen, their potential expanded, and their wounds erased.

Cain exhaled slowly. His entire body felt heavy, his mind strained from the constant channeling of world energy.

But he had no time to rest.

He had strengthened the army—now he needed to strengthen himself. The power he currently wielded was formidable, but not enough. Not for the Ninth Layer of the Heart of the Root.

The ArchDeities were prepared, but the Prima Deities still needed time. They were engraving the runes of the Runic War Avatars into their bodies, mastering the flow of energy required to operate them.

Through the [A.I. Chip Module]’s force field, Cain observed their progress and estimated the time needed to complete the process. ”Two and a half months. Perhaps three. If I am fortunate, that will be enough.”

Without the Runic War Avatars, the army lacked the combined strength required to break through the barriers of the Ninth Layer. Once they finished the creation, the final campaign had to begin immediately. The advantage gained from damaging the Heart of the Root would not last forever.

Not wasting another moment, Cain crossed the golden portal and stepped into the void of the Everstrife Empyrean World, heading into the Scarlet Crown.

He drew in a deep breath. Psychic power enveloped him, forming a cocoon of shimmering fire as he initiated the Doomsday Art.

A body capable of surviving Early Alpha Omega Overgod-tier destruction was simply not enough. The Ninth Layer demanded more—much more.

Cain needed to reach the second level of the Empyrean Natural Inheritance.

Thus began the cycle.

He triggered complete self-annihilation.

Laws and Star Power devoured muscle, bone, and blood. Every molecule of his body was shattered, then reforged through the rebirth sequence. The deeper the destruction, the more forceful the reconstruction. Pain and power intertwined, each feeding the other.

Cain forced himself through the cycle with unyielding discipline. Not a single fragment of his being escaped the devastation.

When the rebirth phase completed, Cain opened his eyes and felt new endurance coursing through him—stronger, denser, purer.

A small smile formed on his lips.

He wanted to continue, but his body needed time to stabilize between cycles. Pushing too fast could lead to catastrophic backlash, even for a Primordial with a Samsara Immortal Body.

But rest? That was not an option.

Opening his palm, Cain summoned a flame with 41 colors.
