Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 200: All beings are equal in front of the fuel-air bombChapter 200: All beings are equal in front of the fuel-air bomb
With a smile on his face, Mr. Wei responded with a somewhat teasing tone: ”Is Saudi Arabia going to purchase domestic weapons and equipment?”

Old Wei knew that the representatives of the Sand Country in the Camel Region had come to the Yan Country.

Domestic intelligence organizations are not vegetarians.

”Mr. Wei, you are partially right. The Saudi country in the Camel region is indeed interested in purchasing a batch of weapons and equipment, but...”

Lin Chenran seemed to be hesitant to speak, as if he had something to hide.

Saudi Arabia’s demands in the Camel region this time are mainly focused on medium-range ballistic missiles, and they also need to be equipped with nuclear warheads.

Faced with such a request, Lin Chenran found it difficult to speak.

After hearing Lin Chenran’s words, Elder Wei on the other end of the phone did not respond for a long time, and couldn’t help wondering if the phone had been disconnected: ”Hey! Lin boy, why are you not talking?”

”What kind of weapons and equipment does the Saudi nation want in the Camel Region?”

”Is the line disconnected?”

After hearing this, Lin Chenran couldn’t help but smile bitterly.

In desperation, he had to tell Mr. Wei in detail Abdul’s specific requirements.

When Lin Chenran finished speaking, Mr. Wei fell into a brief silence.

He had never expected that the other party would actually ask him to purchase medium-range ballistic missiles equipped with nuclear warheads.

This request really shocked and embarrassed him.

This……

that……

For a moment, Mr. Wei didn’t know how to respond.

”Do the representatives of Saudi Arabia in the Camel region really want to purchase this medium-range ballistic missile with nuclear warheads?” Mr. Wei suspected that he had heard it wrong and could not help but ask again.

Lin Chenran smiled bitterly and said, ”Mr. Wei, you heard it right. The Saudi country in the Camel region does want to buy a batch of medium-range ballistic missiles from us, and requires them to be equipped with nuclear warheads.”

Medium-range ballistic missiles themselves have extremely strong deterrent power. If equipped with nuclear warheads, they are simply super-killer weapons. Once they are unveiled, they are enough to deter all enemies.

”As for nuclear warheads, we really can’t sell them.” Old Wei frowned, and the smile on his face disappeared, replaced by deep entanglement and helplessness.

Lin Chenran certainly understood the reason, because Yan Country had signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which clearly stipulated that Yan Country was not allowed to sell nuclear warheads abroad.

”I know, but the Saudi representatives in the Camel region are very determined to buy medium-range ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads.”

Lin Chenran must serve such a big money sponsor seriously.

”If we only buy medium-range ballistic missiles, we can still negotiate, but nuclear warheads are not negotiable.”

Mr. Wei suppressed the ”evil thoughts” in his heart and directly rejected the purchase order.

He is well aware of the sensitivity and danger of nuclear weapons and that they cannot be easily sold to other countries or organizations.

Lin Chenran smiled slightly and tried to persuade Elder Wei: ”Elder Wei, if the selling price is very high, is the military willing to sell it?”

Money often has great appeal, especially for the Yan State military which needs financial support.

The temptation will be greater!

”The military is currently in great need of military funds. This huge order can help ease the military’s pressure on military funds!”

Lin Chenran continued.

When Old Wei heard Lin Chenran’s words, his heart couldn’t help but move.

Today, the Yan State military is indeed facing the problem of financial constraints.

Although there is support from the 077 Machinery Arsenal, military spending remains a pressing need.

This huge order will undoubtedly bring much-needed funds to the military.

Despite this, Mr. Wei remained calm and rational.

The sale of nuclear weapons is an extremely sensitive and dangerous matter and must be handled with caution.

At the same time, he also understood that Lin Chenran’s proposal was not unreasonable.

”Mr. Wei, I think we can both take a step back.” Seeing that Mr. Wei was wavering, Lin Chenran struck while the iron was hot.

”We can secretly provide a nuclear warhead to Saudi Arabia in the Camel region, and then sell them a batch of medium-range ballistic missiles.” ”It can not only meet their needs, but also obtain considerable profits.” Lin Yu said confidently.

Elder Wei nodded: ”What about the price?”

Lin Yu smiled, with a sly look in his eyes: ”I suggest raising the price of each missile plus the launch vehicle to between 100 million US dollars and 150 million US dollars.”

“If you negotiate a better price, that’s even better!”

”Saudi Arabia needs to purchase at least 3 Dongfeng- medium-range ballistic missiles in the Camel region.”

”We can get a huge revenue of more than 3 billion US dollars in one go.”

This number surprised Mr. Wei. He couldn’t help but take a breath: ”Such a high price...”

Mr. Wei was obviously impressed by the high price!

More than 3 billion US dollars in arms sales!
Judging from the total cost, the Yan State military will undoubtedly make huge profits from it.

Lin Yu struck while the iron was hot and said, ”Old Wei, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!”

”The military can obtain more than 3 billion US dollars in revenue at once. With this money, it can invest in more research and development projects and promote technological innovation;”

”At the same time, it can upgrade existing equipment and enhance the combat effectiveness of the army.”

Old Wei’s eyes flickered, and he was obviously moved by the benefits that Lin Yu mentioned.

After thinking for a moment, he slowly said, ”Lin boy, your temptation is really great. Which cadre can resist it!”

There was a hint of helplessness in his tone, but more of it was heartbeat.

Faced with such huge benefits, no one can help but be tempted.

As the head of the military equipment department of Yan State, Mr. Wei is well aware that huge amounts of funds can provide a strong boost to a country’s military development.

Lin Yu was secretly delighted when he heard Mr. Wei’s reaction.

His plan had successfully aroused Mr. Wei’s interest.

It is not impossible to sell Dongfeng 3 missiles.

If it is equipped with only one nuclear warhead, we can still negotiate.

”Mr. Wei, please discuss with the military leaders. The representatives of the Saudi country in the Camel region will probably stay in the country for three days.”

”After three days, no matter what the result is, please let me know and I will reply to the representative of Saudi Arabia in the Camel Region.”

Then both parties hung up the phone.

Mr. Wei then picked up the red phone on the desk and dialed the number.

……

At the same time, Lin Chenran was thinking about what weapons and equipment the 077 Mechanical Military Factory could sell to the Saudi Kingdom in the Camel region in this arms sale.

”Massive killing weapon?”

Suddenly an idea flashed through Lin Chenran’s mind.

Fuel-explosive bomb?
That’s right, the 077 Mechanical Military Factory can manufacture fuel-air explosive bombs and sell them to Saudi Arabia in the Camel region.

The power of heavy fuel-air explosive bombs is extremely strong.

With one missile, all living creatures within a range of 800 meters were killed!

Fuel-explosive bombs are also called ”radiation-free nuclear bombs.”

In front of the fuel-air bomb, all beings are equal!
”Forehead?”

”Can such powerful lethal weapons and equipment be exported?”

Lin Chenran muttered softly.

He has no idea either!

”Who cares? Let’s make it first!”
