Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 166 Consumption Power: Women Pet MenChapter 166 Consumption Power: Women > ... > Pets > Men

After Lin Chenran and several senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory visited the entire Second Textile Factory, everyone had a satisfied smile on their face.

”Director Wu, although I don’t work at the Second Textile Factory and I don’t keep an eye on it all the time, I have always been paying close attention to its development. Now that I see its current status, I feel very satisfied.”

”Director Wu, and all the senior executives of the Second Textile Factory present here, you have all worked really hard.”

Lin Chenran specifically praised the senior executives of the Second Textile Factory who were present.

”Thank you, Mr. Lin. Your recognition and encouragement are our driving force for progress!”

Wu Changqing was so excited that he could hardly contain himself. To be recognized by the big boss meant that he would definitely get a bonus next year.

Last time, Wu Changqing received an unprecedented huge bonus, and it was obtained entirely through formal channels.

Afterwards, Lin Chenran asked Wu Changqing to lead them to the conference room, briefly explained some important matters, and discussed how to transport large quantities of clothing to the Bear Country.

Due to the turbulent domestic situation in the Russian bear country, it not only affected its economic and social order, but also had a huge impact on the local production of light industrial goods.

The light industry, which was already underdeveloped, fell into further difficulties during the turmoil and came to a complete standstill.

As a result, the bear country’s demand for foreign imported goods increased dramatically, and the prices of these goods soared.

After entering the conference room, Lin Chenran sat leisurely in the main seat, while others took their seats in order.

He raised his mouth, showing a happy expression, and began to praise everyone: ”In the past year, the Second Textile Factory has had a very strong development momentum. It has successfully created three distinct brands of low, medium and high levels, and has been favored and loved by domestic and foreign customers.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Wu Changqing took the lead in applauding, and other senior executives followed suit. Warm applause resounded throughout the conference room.

After a while, when the applause gradually died down, Lin Chenran continued: ”Next, we need to further explore domestic and foreign customer resources.”

He paused, and added with a firm look: ”At the same time, our team of designers still needs to continue to grow. Only with an excellent team can we ensure that the various types of clothing designed and developed by our Second Textile Factory keep up with the trend of the times.”

An excellent team can design many clothing styles that lead fashion trends.

Then he looked into the future and said that when the time is right, the Second Textile Factory will enter the luxury goods field.

Luxury goods have always been sought after.

In later generations, various unique LV products were also purchased by female consumers.

……

In the consumer market of later generations, there has always been a saying: ”In terms of consumption power, women are always far ahead of men.”

”Women > Children > Elderly > Pets > Men.”

Upon hearing this, Wu Changqing immediately patted his chest and replied firmly: ”Boss Lin, don’t worry, we will definitely work hard to optimize the design and development team in the factory and strive to design better clothing that is more in line with the trend of the times.”

Lin Chenran nodded slightly and said with a smile: ”I believe everyone has the ability to do better. Although I don’t usually work at the Second Textile Factory, I will always pay close attention to its development.”

Then, he changed the subject and continued, ”Director Wu, I will go to Maoxiong again in April to further expand the trade channels between China and Maoxiong. You can arrange manpower in advance and prepare for the production of a large number of clothing. Then we will go to Maoxiong together.”

This is actually one of the purposes of Lin Chenran’s visit to the Second Textile Factory this time.

When the senior executives of the Second Textile Factory heard the news, they immediately broke into bright smiles on their faces.

They all knew that this meant another batch of goods would be able to be sold successfully.

This is undoubtedly huge good news for the Second Textile Factory.

The trade route between Yan Country and Russia is indeed a very profitable and lucrative channel for the Second Textile Factory.

Let the Second Textile Factory make a lot of money.

”No problem, Mr. Lin, don’t worry, I will make arrangements.”

Wu Changqing’s mouth corners slightly raised and his face was filled with smiles.

Immediately afterwards, Lin Chenran discussed the development of the factory, major and minor matters, etc. with the Second Textile Factory.

The meeting lasted for two hours. Lin Chenran and several senior executives of the 077 Mechanical Military Factory had dinner at the Second Textile Factory and then left.

After Wu Changqing and other senior executives of the Second Textile Factory saw Lin Chenran off, they returned to the conference room and continued their work.

……

After returning to the 077 Mechanical Military Factory, Lin Chenran learned from his assistant Xiao Liang that the head of the Army Equipment Department of the Yan State Military, Mr. Wei, had called him not long ago. Lin Chenran was puzzled as to why Mr. Wei called him again.

What’s going on?

Lin Chenran returned to his office and immediately picked up the phone on the desk and called back.

Soon, a familiar voice came from the other end of the phone.

”Lin boy, you are such a busy man!”

Wei Lao started to jokingly criticize

”Forehead?”

”Mr. Wei, I’m sorry!”

”Next time I will stay by the phone and not leave for a moment.”

Lin Chenran said with a smile.

Suddenly, both of them burst into laughter.

After making a joke, Lin Chenran directly asked why Mr. Wei called him this time.

”Lin, with the development of the times, the J-7 fighter jets in the Air Force’s hands can no longer meet the demand, so we need to redesign a third-generation fighter jet.”

Mr. Wei said this very calmly.

”What?”

”Third generation fighter?”

”Mr. Wei, the military wants to give this task to our 077 Mechanical Arms Factory?”

Lin Chenran was surprised at first, and then he immediately ”grabbed the task”.

”What are you thinking about?”

”Does your 077 Mechanical Military Factory have the technology and experience to design fighter jets?”

When Mr. Wei heard that Lin Chenran ”struck the snake while it was still under control”, he was completely speechless.

”The military already has a design unit for the third-generation fighter jet.”

Mr. Wei directly broke Lin Chenran’s unrealistic idea.

”Forehead?”

”Mr. Wei, are you looking for fun with me?”

”Since there is already a design and development unit for the third-generation fighter jets, why are you still telling me about this?”

Lin Chenran became depressed instantly when he heard this.

It turns out that I was happy for nothing!
”You kid, you’re anxious again!”

”Everything that’s cheap is worth it.”

Old Wei laughed and started cursing.

”The chief designer of the third-generation fighter jet will come to the 077 Mechanical Arms Factory in three days. You will be required to receive him then.”

Mr. Wei directly stated the purpose of this trip.

”Mr. Wei, you still need us to receive you!”

”You said that our 077 Machinery Military Factory does not have the foundation to design and develop fighter jets. How could the chief designer of the third-generation fighter jets come to our factory?”

Lin Chenran directly refuted the other party with what Mr. Wei had just said.
