Building a Technological Power Starting with the Type 59 missile and Going Astray in Technological Development

Chapter 189 Shipbuilding Talent? Bring It On!Chapter 189 Shipbuilding Talent? Bring It On!

The Yan State Navy felt that having only one Aegis missile destroyer was not enough and could not effectively consolidate the maritime borders and ensure territorial security.

So they placed another order with the 704 Shipyard to build three more Aegis missile destroyers.

In this way, with the Linjiang ship, there will be a total of four Aegis missile destroyers, which can temporarily deal with possible maritime conflicts.

At present, Yan Country and the Eagle Sauce are still in a ”honeymoon period”, so the Eagle Sauce’s warships are unlikely to sail into Yan Country’s waters arrogantly, and have not put forward various island chain claims.

At this stage, the main challenges facing the Yan State Navy come from neighboring countries, especially the Chicken Country and the Monkey Country, which have been provoking the Yan State Navy at sea.

As various warships joined the fleet one after another, the Yan State Navy firmly believed that these countries would never dare to provoke them easily.

The Yanguo Navy said: If anyone dares to provoke us, we will fight back without hesitation! As soldiers, we have a firm blood!
At the same time, the news of the launching of the first Aegis missile destroyer spread like wildfire!

Domestic military media and official media have revealed some relevant information, which is undoubtedly good news and exciting.

The people of Yan State were ecstatic about this, because it meant that the strength of Yan State’s navy would be further enhanced, which would play an important role in maintaining national security and protecting its maritime borders.

Monkey Country: What? The Yan Country Navy actually added a guided missile destroyer with a displacement of more than 5,000 tons? Isn’t it said that it is very poor? How can it afford so much money to purchase it?
Jiaopanji Country: Damn it! Is Yan Country’s navy going to revive? This is very disadvantageous to us! Is Yan Country’s reform and opening up the right path?

Han Country: Smite, Han Country is the best in the universe, the best in Asia, and the navy of Yan Country? Are you so proud of just adding a missile destroyer?

Eagle sauce: Yan country self-developed missile destroyer? Isn’t it said that Yan country’s shipyards are very backward, how can it have the strength to research missile destroyers? I heard that the strength of this missile destroyer is comparable to the first echelon in the world. Check it out for me!

……

Agents and spies from various countries began to mobilize.

They are looking for detailed information about this Aegis missile destroyer.

Especially the Eagles, they are very depressed at the moment.

They speculated that the Yan State military had purchased the LM2500 gas turbine from them for this Aegis missile destroyer.

Due to price issues, Yan Country directly gave up purchasing the LM2500 gas turbine in the hands of the United States.

So what kind of power output device does this Aegis missile destroyer use now?

This is beyond comprehension for the Eagle Sauce!
Originally, the Eagle Sauce thought that the Yan country would give up building large warships, or continue to negotiate with itself to purchase LM2500 gas turbines.

As a result, before the United States restarted the project of purchasing LM2500 gas turbines, the United States received news of the birth of the other party’s first large missile destroyer - the Aegis missile destroyer.

Where can Yan Country purchase the power output devices for large warships?
The Eagle Sauce didn’t receive any information at all.

Insiders in the United States speculate that the power output device of Yan Country’s first Aegis missile destroyer may be obtained from the Russians.

Some people also speculate that it was obtained from John Guo.

After all, the Yan country negotiators went to John country after leaving Yingjiang.

The sensation caused by Yan Country’s introduction of the Aegis missile destroyer was huge.

No one wants the Eastern Lion’s navy to become stronger.

But it is still a little short of the awakening of the Yan Kingdom Navy.

Just a missile destroyer!

It’s not an aircraft carrier!
……

A group of Yan State military leaders left the 704 Shipyard with smiles on their faces.

But Lin Chenran did not leave. It was a rare opportunity for him to come to the 704 Shipyard, so he must explain some matters.

Let the 704 Shipyard get on the right track.

...Lin Chenran immediately convened a high-level meeting of the 704 Shipyard. He hoped to discuss the future development direction of the 704 Shipyard with everyone.

When the senior executives of the 704 Shipyard arrived at the conference room, they took their seats and waited for the meeting to begin.

With the arrival of Lin Chenran, the meeting officially began.

Lin Chenran smiled and said, ”I am very happy to see you all here again. Thank you all for your cooperation, which has enabled the 704 Shipyard to develop so rapidly.”

His eyes scanned everyone, full of gratitude.

Then, Lin Chenran continued, ”Just now, many senior officials of the Navy spoke highly of the Aegis missile destroyer built by our 704 Shipyard and expressed their great satisfaction.”

There was a hint of pride in his voice.

Then, Lin Chenran announced: ”The Navy has placed another order for three Aegis missile destroyers with our 704 Shipyard.”

“This is a testament to our shipyard’s strength. These achievements are inseparable from the hard work of all of you here and other employees in the shipyard.”

As soon as Lin Chenran finished speaking, thunderous applause broke out in the conference room.

At this moment, the entire conference room was filled with a cheerful atmosphere.

Lin Chenran waved his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet. He continued, ”Although I don’t often sit in the 704 Shipyard, I have been paying attention to the situation here. I know your hard work, so I have reported it to the superiors and suggested increasing your bonus this month.”

His words caused cheers and everyone’s faces were filled with smiles.

The reason for working hard is not just for salary, not just for bonus!

Lin Chenran knows this very well. He never uses those unrealistic means, but directly gives his employees something real - bonuses!
Share the benefits with everyone, and then it’s time to assign tasks.

”The military has placed a large order this time, ordering three Aegis missile destroyers at once.”

The Yan State military’s request was for the 704 Shipyard to build three Aegis missile destroyers at one time.

They need to ”flex their muscles” to the outside world.

At this time, Pan Xueming, the chief designer of the Aegis missile destroyer sitting next to him, stood up and said worriedly: ”General Lin, although we have the ability to build three Aegis missile destroyers at the same time, the entire 704 Shipyard is now facing a serious shortage of manpower.”

“Lack of skilled workers!”

The 704 Shipyard did not simply accept the order for Aegis missile destroyers from the Yan State military.

They also have to take into account orders for other civilian ships.

Just recently, the 704 Shipyard made a major breakthrough in the field of oil tankers and successfully received a considerable large order.

”We are short of familiar technical talents, so we are recruiting externally.”

Lin Chenran said with a smile.

In fact, he had other ideas in his mind.

That’s right, it’s “annexation”.

Most of the country’s shipbuilding technical talents are in the hands of the state.

Lin Chenran wanted to start from the national level.

Let the 704 Shipyard merge several shipyards that are on the verge of bankruptcy.

In this way, the 704 Shipyard will be able to obtain a large number of skilled technical personnel.

The most important point is that the 704 Shipyard does not need to train skilled technical personnel, but directly adopts a ”take-it-as-it-is” approach.
