Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 789: Duke Colineʼs Acknowledgement

”As expected of Teacher, youʼre so strong!” said Flora in admiration.

”No. If the elite class alien is that easy to take down, we wonʼt be struggling here.” He shook his head while pointing forward.

”!!!” Flora wondered what he meant. The moment her eyes reached the elite class alien, she couldnʼt help but drop her jaw.

The tentacles had actually half recovered from the previous attack and the arm was growing at high speed as though that wound was not a big deal.

”This…” Flora gasped.

”Kun!” Nathan hurriedly talked to Kun in his mind.

”Yes, Master?”

”Can you connect me to everyone?”

”Understood. You can speak now!”

”The battle is about to begin. I will be giving my order now. Fenrir. Stay with the soldiers on the dock and fight alongside them. Anubis, your role is like usual. Keep as many people alive as possible. However, I want you to use the bandage to capture several insects for me.

”Jinwu, Nidhogg. Both of you focus on the insects. With your firepower, I believe you can kill a lot of them. Remember, focus on the insects. No matter how juicy it is to attack the aliens coming to the dock, focus on the insects first.”

”Understood!” The four divine beasts replied in unison.

”What should I do, Master?” Kun asked.

”Bring the ship down. It will produce a wave, but let the summoners there take care of it. You will go to my side, as weʼll be fighting together.”

”Understood!” Kun acknowledged his order and immediately dove into the water. Because of the ship, he couldnʼt make such a sharp angle, which caused his body to hit the sand under the water with the ship still not touching the water.

After that, Nathan recalled him.

Before going, Nathan turned to Flora. ”Letʼs go. Have your ice, plant, and rock spirit to help the people on the dock. You, your fire spirit, and the lightning spirit will go with me together.

”As long as we can kill as many insects as possible, we can allow the people to focus on the stronger aliens. The duchess will most likely handle any warrior class warriors.

”Although I want to fight those aliens, we should prioritize the insects. Weʼll regroup with Selena and take care of the right side.

”I will ask Kun to blast everything away in case we canʼt handle them. Donʼt hold back. This battle is not about lasting to the end but more like defeating as many of them as possible in the shortest amount of time.”

Flora was startled. She didnʼt understand why the battle was like that, considering they usually fought until the last alien.

On the other hand, Duke Coline was quite astonished by Nathanʼs sharp judgment. The reason Nathan wanted to kill as many aliens as possible was to reduce the casualty and decrease the enemyʼs number.

Of course, reducing the casualty was his way to be responsible for causing all this. After all, it wouldnʼt happen if he didnʼt ask them to find a whaleʼs remains.

Meanwhile, the second reason was for the sake of the battlefield. With so many aliens out there, there was a chance that they would try to protect the elite class alien.

With enough numbers, the aliens could become a shield, which later allowed the elite class to unleash an attack that would change the course of the battle.

Nathan understood this perfectly. That was why he wanted to thin their number.

”Teacher. I will be going first. Or do you have any other instructions?”

”No.” The duke shook his head.

As the two were about to go, Duke Coline couldnʼt help but say, ”You get yourself a pretty good partner.”

Flora halted for a moment but soon continued without looking back. Still, that statement put a smile on her face.

Duke Coline finally understood why the king had such opinions on Nathan. Nathan was indeed capable, but this whole thing started because of him.

”Well, once he gets strong enough to deal with all the problems he creates, he will be a good asset to the kingdom. Besides, he is capable enough to protect Flora. I hope he takes care of her.” Duke Coline smiled.

Duke Coline praised Nathan, but it seemed that wasnʼt enough.

After all, right after he finished, Nathan jumped off the cliff and summoned Kun again.

”Kun! Weʼll be wreaking havoc in the battle. Our purpose is to create a distraction so that those aliens canʼt do much.”

”In that case, I will use my other form.” Kun agreed with him.

His body was soon enveloped by light as Kunʼs figure started to become thinner. The body of the whale gradually changed to that of a bird.

The bird had the same length and wingspan as Kunʼs. It had two pairs of wings that split up at the tip. The breeze from the ocean flowed toward this bird.

Kunʼs dark skin completely changed to the exact opposite. From the menacing appearance of Kun, Pengʼs appearance was majestic and grand. Its white skin was covered in golden lace all over its body.

It had a much sharper body feature, which was what a bird needed.

”What is that?” Duke Coline dropped his jaw. ”I have never seen a familiar with a transformation ability. No. I have seen a transformation ability, but this is… like changing the entire nature of the familiar.

”Whether itʼs the flow of its ena or the element… What is that familiar? How can two familiars exist as a single familiar?!”

Peng immediately flapped its wings as the breeze started flowing to the sea. They swirled around, creating a lower air pressure, which caused the water to start rising up like a waterspout.

It sucked the aliens underneath the sea but also messed around with the aliens in the air.

”!!!” Duke Coline was surprised by Pengʼs ability, but what was more shocking was the fact that the ena flowing in this wind was different from how Kun used it.

”This… Can I use that wind?” Duke Coline snapped his fingers. ”Grade 6 Support Magic, Fire Endowment.”
