Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 784: Rescuing Lena

Lenaʼs familiar clapped his hand and formed a massive hand with the seawater, but upon seeing it, the alien simply slapped it with the back of its hand, crushing the hand with pure physical power.

The chains had been released, restraining the alienʼs body, but the tentacles kept getting in the way, either twisting the chains or breaking them apart.

Ultimately, the alien punched Lena.

Lena clicked her tongue. She was currently standing on top of the water, so this punch would definitely sink her so far.

She waved her blade, releasing forth her sword strike.

The clash between the fist and the sword strike produced a massive wave and lasted for several seconds before the fist ultimately broke the sword strike apart.

In the end, Lena emphasized speed for her sword strike instead of power, so it couldnʼt be helped if it lost against that fist.

Still, Lena had to jump into the air to avoid the attack.

While in the air, she couldnʼt help but think, ʼThey should have arrived at the ship. I should give them several more minutes. With those guys rowing the ship, the alien shouldnʼt be able to catch up after a certain distance.

ʼAfter these few minutes, I will escape from here.ʼ Lena looked at the alien. As one would expect from an elite class alien. It was so strong that even with her familiars, she had a hard time fighting it.

However, the situation became even more dire for her the moment she noticed numerous presences swimming underneath the ocean.

”!!!” Lena, who had just landed on the sea surface, couldnʼt help but look down, finding so many aliens ready to surface.

They were not just the aliens inside the ruins. It appeared that a lot of aliens from the surrounding area had been drawn into this place. It was no wonder why they took so long.

The elite class alien must have given instruction to them so that they would wait until they gathered enough numbers.

Now that they had arrived, the aliens immediately swam up, charging straight at Lena.

”Kh.” Lena gritted her teeth in frustration before jumping into the air.

However, the elite class alien wouldnʼt waste such an opportunity. He punched Lena while one of her familiars raised the water and turned it into a whip, stopping the right arm entirely.

After that, Lena extended her hand, shooting out the chain toward that right arm as she glided to the arm.

Once she stood on top of it, she began to run while slashing the arm with all her strength.

Blood spurted as cut wounds appeared in rapid succession.

The alienʼs numerous mouths released another deafening roar, which stopped Lena for a second. Then, the alien tossed her from his arm, which already had a sign of closing the wounds.

”…” Lena looked frustrated. She knew how strong the regeneration ability that an elite class alien possessed was. In fact, she should have the power to somehow defeat this guy.

The only problem was the number. More and more aliens came to the surface and even leaped into the sky, trying to overwhelm her.

Even though she could kill them easily, the number made it hard for her to move. And the elite class alien would surely strike her the moment it found a gap.

At the same time, she couldnʼt retreat yet, considering it still took time for the ship to be far enough.

The alien sent another arm forward while the tentacles spread, hitting her familiars before targeting her.

Lena raised her sword, ready to strike them down one by one, but all of a sudden, the alien actually looked up as if it noticed something.

”!!!” Lena was confused. Still, this was a big opportunity. She unleashed all her strength and sent forth a sword strike, slashing the alienʼs chest.

”Reee!” The alien let out a howl of anger.

Other aliens sprung into the sky, forcing Lena and one of her familiars to turn around to stop them first.

But that was when the sky suddenly opened up. The bright sun suddenly illuminated the sea, startling both the aliens and Lena.

”!!!” Lena widened her eyes, finding a huge whale diving from the sky. The whale was massive. The size alone could be compared to that of the alien, albeit much bigger in width and weight.

The whale had two pairs of flippers, with each flipper split into two more at the tip. Its skin was dark gray, closer to black.

And it was there she found Nathan, Selena, and a few other summoners looking at her.

”Ignition, Double.” Nathan combined two explosive bullets and shot them. ”Artillery.”

Selena gathered all her strength into a single point and pushed it down directly toward the numerous aliens.

Their respective familiars, whether it was Risa or even Jinwu, unleashed their attack, focusing on the aliens that had come out from the water.

The other summoners also attacked the aliens with their familiars, creating an opportunity for Lena.

However, the massive elite class alien was extending its hand as though it wanted to catch the whale.

Lena hurriedly swung her blade and hit the arm with the sword strike, ultimately stopping it. The tentacles had been restrained by her familiars for a second, allowing the whale to actually slam its entire body weight at the elite class alien.

The alien might not be that hurt, but that massive weight coupled with the momentum still knocked the alien back into the water.

The whale crashed into the water and pushed the numerous aliens with its body before springing back into the air.

Nathan extended his hand toward Lena, as if telling her this was their chance. Without hesitation, Lena released her chain, which Nathan caught before pulling her toward the whale.

Of course, Lena also recalled her familiars as the whale flew back to where it came from.

”Is this your new familiar?” Lena asked. Even though the attack might not be effective, the massive body of this whale alone could cause so much damage, at least much more than she could imagine from Fenrir and the others.

And Nathan experienced the terror of its size firsthand. It was so embarrassing that Nathan could only smile wryly and not want to talk about it.
