Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 773: Creating More Artifacts?

Zap!

Zap!

The alien cores were getting ripped out of their bodies as they had taken out the place Amphitrite pointed out earlier.

Although there were indeed more aliens, the group didnʼt struggle, considering there were no mature class aliens among them.

”How long have we been here?” Lena asked.

”Only thirty minutes, Commander.” A summoner reported.

”How is everyoneʼs ena?”

”There is no problem. We have only used less than 10% of our ena. We can still keep going for another few hours.”

Lena nodded. ”In that case, letʼs clean up the area first.”

”Yes.”

They nodded their heads and continued gathering the cores.

Selena was training her control over this new technique. In fact, her progress was astonishing. Even though she just imitated it not long ago, she could already control three chains at the same time. At this rate, Selena might reach Lenaʼs level of control before they resurface.

On the other hand, Nathan was observing another thing.

”Is there anything troubling you?” Anubis asked.

”Weʼre planning to go alone in the near future, right? Thereʼs actually one problem that Iʼve just noticed.” Nathan squinted his eyes, staring at the backpack where they stored the cores.

”The cores? Well, if you want me to scrap all those cores, itʼs possible. I can use my bandages to do something similar. The bandage will be wet here, so I canʼt show you, but on the surface, I can do that too,” assured Anubis.

”No. Iʼm not talking about recovering the cores. I was wondering how we should carry the cores. I mean, when we visited the fort previously, it turned into several giant bags filled with cores, right?”

”Ah!” Anubis frowned. ”Now that I think about it, we canʼt really bring a lot of bags, right? And if Iʼm the one carrying the cores with my bandages, I canʼt use them to recover the cores from the alien bodies.

”If we use them right away, it will hinder our speed. And it might even complicate other things.”

”Yes.” Nathan agreed. ”What should we do about that?”

Anubis asked, ”Should we ask the whale to store it for us? Heʼs big, no?”

”Well, I donʼt know if he can do it or not. Besides, I donʼt really want to rely on something uncertain.” Nathan crossed his arms.

”Why donʼt you just use all kinds of references to solve that problem?” Fenrir suddenly landed next to them. ”I have seen you using all kinds of references this whole time, whether itʼs myths, fictions, or histories. Is there nothing you can use?”

”If you put it that way, then yes. There are things I can use, such as the space element or item box, but because Iʼm planning to have a time element, itʼs not viable. As for items…” Nathan frowned. ”A magic bag or pouch? Thereʼs also one that always appears in xuanhuan or xianxia novels called ʼSpace Ring,ʼ but these are items.”

Fenrir tilted his head in confusion. ”Then why donʼt you just make that item?”

”Huh?” Nathanʼs eyebrows twitched. ”An item in this world canʼt be imbued with elemental magic because the owner requires that element.”

It was Anubisʼ turn to get confused. ”Summoner. You still say that even after making that cloud-repelling device? Didnʼt you imbue a wind element in that device?”

”Ah?!” Nathan definitely forgot about it. The cloud-repelling device was made for the disaster, so because everything happened so fast, he didnʼt think about other things. It was true that he fantasized of having an elemental weapon or even putting a spirit inside a weapon, but he forgot about the utility items.

”Now that I think about it, even in all those novels or stories, utility items are always a hot commodity. Whenever they go, they will always have such a thing. Itʼs because they keep upgrading their weapons or armor that people often miss that the most important tools are those utility items to the point the authors never mention them again, believing that everyone will know about it.

”If thatʼs the case, can I really create a space ring or magic bag? Maybe thereʼs a space power that can expand the size of a bag inside? I can make a magic pouch this way.

”Or if itʼs a space ring, we need to create an individual space inside that ring. With my Soul Contract, this kind of item is a possibility.

”Even the communication ring that the Divine Hand uses is based on vibration instead of element.” Nathan looked down, falling into deep thought.

”Yes. With that Soul Contract alone, you can create all kinds of artifacts with power that was not possible before. At this rate, why not change your job from summoner to an artifact crafter?” Anubis smirked. ”You will get a lot of money that way.”

”Yeah, but a lot of people will also pursue me, with me having no way to fight them back.” Nathan shrugged. ”Well, I might consider that option. Not only can I level up the girlsʼ familiars, but I can also create artifacts for them. Even Selenaʼs staff, which is said to be a national treasure, can be upgraded further.

”Then again, I donʼt wish to ruin such a powerful item. Hence, Iʼm thinking about starting it bit by bit. Once Iʼm good enough, I can enhance them.

”No, maybe… I should just make a gauntlet.” Nathan grinned.

”A gauntlet?” Both Fenrir and Anubis were confused, considering Nathan didnʼt use a gauntlet.

”Yes. A gauntlet. Then, I will create 5 colored stones and fuse them. Once I snap my fingers, half of the aliens will vanish. Hehehehe.”

Fenrir and Anubis had their eyebrows twitch as Fenrir said, ”Do I need to remind you that we donʼt live at the same time as you? We donʼt get the references.”

”Donʼt mind me.” Nathan waved his hand. ”Just a future idea.”

The two divine beasts didnʼt feel like saying anything. They had done great just by letting Nathan do whatever he wanted, so it should be the same this time.

Then again, they might not have the chance to refute him because Selena had already come to him. ”Nathan. Weʼre done. Actually, come. It seems Amphitrite has found something.”
