Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 681: Domains

Jinwu looked down, falling into deep thought. ”Itʼs hard. As you already know, a domain is oneʼs territory. Synchronizing one domain with another is like putting two lions on a single mountain.”

”But you have done it with Risaʼs blood domain.”

”Thatʼs true, but thatʼs because she is placing her own domain underneath me…” Jinwu fell silent. In this scenario, Anubisʼ domain should be on top. In other words, he, a divine beast, should lower himself. However, the problem was Nathan.

Although they indeed argued about everything, all his beasts had one agreement they had to follow strictly. After seeing how many times Nathan, who was supposed to be their main pillar in this world, risked his life, they had agreed that they would lower their pride so that no harm would reach Nathan.

Jinwu took a deep breath before nodding his head. ”Fine. Letʼs do it.”

While the divine beasts were talking, Iris couldnʼt help but ask, ”What is this domain thing? I havenʼt learned much about a domain. Is it like a nobleʼs territory?”

Flora looked up, thinking. ”Ehm. A domain is an extremely rare ability. There are four types of domain ability.

”The first is the Subspace Domain. Anubisʼ domain belongs to this category. Itʼs basically an independent subspace with Anubis being the… god in that domain. His conditions and all kinds of preset terms must be followed within that domain.

”The second type is Jinwuʼs domain. Itʼs called Reality Integration. Basically, this domain will allow one familiar to change the worldʼs law to a certain extent, which is the law within your domain. Because youʼre integrating the already existing world, you can influence a much greater area compared to the Subspace Domain.

”The third type is the Illusory Realm. This domain is similar to the second type, but unlike the second type that uses the user as the center of that domain, youʼre creating a territory with your domain.

”This will influence a much bigger area, but that domain will only stay in that place. You have heard about the Land of Death in the north, right? The one made by the strongest summoner in the world, Elysion Aquamoon?

”In that Land of Death, everything withers, which creates a special realm that can amplify the power of the lord of that domain. While itʼs true that the domain canʼt be moved, it can bring other benefits, such as items influenced by that domain or even new animals or plants. Thatʼs why the items from the Land of Death are extremely precious.

”Meanwhile, the fourth type is Composite Marble. Itʼs basically the combination of more than one type of domain.”

”I see.” Iris nodded. ”Thank you very much.”

”No problem.” Flora smiled.

Fenrir glanced at them mysteriously as though he wanted to say, ʼThere is one more domain… the fifth domain type… which is his domain.ʼ

While they were focused on the domain, Nathan had agreed with Jinwuʼs request. ”All right. Ten summoners are too much, even for you guys. The main reason for us doing this is speed.

”Hence, you just have to keep nine of them away. Leave the glasses guy to Flora and me.

”Even though we have to be careful, Flora is stronger than him, right? If I add myself into the mix, we should be fine… Not that Iʼm underestimating my enemy by saying this.”

Anubis pondered. ”It doesnʼt seem to be a problem, right?”

”Yeah. What we want is speed. If we end up getting too preoccupied with them, we canʼt make sure that our summoner is not going to be reckless this time.” Jinwu nodded in agreement. ”Besides, it will be best if I scout the area as soon as weʼre done. I just want to make sure theyʼre not doing anything else.”

”I will stay hidden after weʼre done. I will only make a move if the situation is necessary. Oi, black dog, make sure to heal him, okay? We know no matter how hard we convince him not to get injured, he canʼt do it.” Fenrir glanced at Anubis.

”I know. In that case, we should work that black lizard to the bone, since he doesnʼt have a lot of roles to play on this mission.”

”Itʼs rare we can agree on things,” Fenrir smirked.

Nathan smiled wryly. He turned to Flora. ”We have decided on the plan. Flora. Set up some traps. Electrocute as many people as possible. I will also have to kill a lot with my bullets during the battle.

”Still, we have to make sure that they canʼt run away. Should we ask the soldiers to make their move?”

”No. If weʼre only going to trap them, my earth spirit can just create a wall to isolate them.” Flora shook her head.

”Alright. That should be enough. We donʼt have a lot of time. You might want to set up the traps right now. Iris, lead the way. I will have Jinwu check on the enemy and warn you once theyʼre close.”

”Got it.” Flora nodded.

”Understood.” Iris bowed, receiving the order.

Jinwu simply took off once again, leaving Nathan with Anubis and Fenrir.

”Canʼt we just appear? If we exterminate them, they canʼt reveal our information, right?” Fenrir asked.

”No. They can shout or anything. We have considered that the information they have about us comes from the normal people in the area. They must have sensed the ruckus. If they ask them again and we let them shout something about beasts or something, they will suspect our identities. In the end, being an original in this world gives us this flaw.” Anubis shook his head.

”Is that so? Well, it canʼt be helped then.” Fenrir sighed. ”So, we will appear during the final battle? Against their boss?”

”Yeah. We will be a hidden card to surprise the enemy. Theyʼre stronger than Nathan basically, so even if he has killed a grandmaster, we canʼt underestimate them. If we can somehow take an arm or two during the ambush, we can fight them on equal ground.” Anubis sighed.

”Hmm… Fine. I will restrain myself.”

”If you canʼt, I can always tie you up with my bandages.” Anubis grinned.

”Alright. Thatʼs enough.” Nathan waved his hands. ”Not the time to bicker with each other. Weʼll go to our designated spot as well.”
