Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 629: Desperate Choice (Bonus)

”It makes me want to ruin you.”

”!!!” Evelyn instantly reacted and spun her body, kicking the guy in the head.

”Such a violent creature.” He grinned, catching Evelynʼs kick with his bare hand.

Evelyn wanted to pull her foot back, but to no avail. ”Kh.”

The guy looked at her while showing the long nails on his right finger as though they were claws. ”Look at this long, smooth leg…”

Just by touching the tips of his nails, the skin was cut, and the blood started pouring out.

”Tsk!” Evelyn jumped into the air, spun her body, and added another kick to blow the enemy away.

”Itʼs useless.” He caught her other foot. ”Your power is inconsequential compared to mine.”

Evelyn activated her gravity together with her familiar, applying double pressure that was enough to bury the guyʼs feet on the ground.

”Oh?!” The guy looked amused.

Evelyn continued twisting her body and propelled herself to the back of this guy so that his arms had no choice but to bend over.

He had no choice but to let it go if he didnʼt want to lose his arms. Then Evelyn gathered her strength in her fist, punching the guy in the back.

Gravity Fist.

The punchʼs strength was amplified by her element. In addition, it would definitely affect the enemyʼs body with the gravity, which would blow him away.

Yet when she punched him in the back, the energy was dispersed.

”Aaahhhhh!” Evelyn couldnʼt help but wail in pain as she pulled her fist back, finding a sharp white bone emerging from his back. It cut the joint between her middle finger and ring finger.

”Listen to that scream. So beautiful! Scream more, will you?!”

”You psychopath!” Evelyn gritted her teeth. She wanted to find others, but she was afraid the moment she let her guard down, this guy would inflict a serious injury on her to the point where she couldnʼt fight back anymore.

At that time, it would be game over.

Her familiars surrounded the guy.

”Amusing. But…” The guy waved his hand, releasing sharp waves from his nails.

”!!!” Each of her familiars threw their bodies at the last moment while blocking the attacks, but to no avail.

”Gaaahhh!” All those attacks cut them. They managed to avoid the fatal blows, but they were simply no match against this guy. In addition, one of them suffered a much more serious injury as his right arm was severed.

”Weak. Too weak. Your screams are not beautiful.” The guy raised his arms.

”Not good!” Evelyn hurriedly recalled her familiars back, avoiding the fatal attack.

”Youʼre messing with my fun!” The guy turned around and leaped toward Evelyn.

It took him an instant to appear before her.

ʼToo fast.ʼ Evelyn couldnʼt even block it as the punch hit her in the stomach. ”Hueh.”

She spat out a mouthful of blood. There was no way she could fight back. Even stopping him was impossible. Her opponent was simply too strong.

Not only did he not summon a single familiar, but he also was playing around with her.

”Get away!” Drake slashed his sword, creating a distorting crescent-shaped wave.

Evelyn also added another pressure to stop the guyʼs movement.

”Gravity, huh? Itʼs useless!” He simply crushed it without any problem. His other hand grasped Evelynʼs neck, preventing her from getting away.

”Youʼre not screaming anymore. Boring! Youʼre, in the end, the same as those other ants.” The guy smirked. ”Now, letʼs see whether you can scream after I skewer your stomach.”

Ilya clapped her hands, utilizing her space element to the limit. She teleported Evelyn as far as possible to save her. But because of the restriction, not only was the travel distance shortened to only 2 meters (6.56 feet), but the direction was also random.

”!!!” Still, that teleportation annoyed the guy, since his prey escaped from his grasp.

”You…” He locked his killing intent on Ilya.

Evelyn hurriedly recalled Ilya, but her enemy was simply too fast. He had already reached her and smacked her with the intention of killing her.

However, Drake dragged his body and stood on his path, taking the attack for Ilya.

”Argghhhh!” Drake gritted his teeth. Even though he managed to withstand the blow, his remaining arm ended up broken and his body was launched with Ilya getting dragged by his body.

”Drake, Ilya!” Evelyn panicked. She didnʼt know what to do.

If she tried to recall them, the enemy would reach them faster than her. As long as he messed up with the flow of ena in their links, she wouldnʼt be able to recall them.

On the other hand, if they died, her potential as a summoner would be greatly reduced. In addition, her life would be in danger since no one would be able to fight alongside her anymore.

Despite fighting for so long, the fact that no one ever helped her meant they were busy with their respective opponents. There was no need to look around, as there was no one going to help her.

At the same time, escaping from this place would be impossible. Even if this guy was strong, he wasnʼt operating alone. There was no way they could survive after getting pursued by them.

She didnʼt know why these people attacked them or their identities. However, one thing was clear in her mind. No matter the price, they had to survive.

And there was only one more path for survival.

”Ilya. I donʼt care what price I have to pay. Do it! Become my second lifebound familiar!”

That was right. In the current situation, only the space element would be able to help them.

However, a normal space element wouldnʼt be enough. She knew what kind of price or what would happen if someone formed the second lifebound link. If it conflicted with her gravity element, it would definitely give them enough energy to mess with the barrier even for a moment.

They could use it to escape. Even if she had to pay for it with her life after this, she would try to save as many people as possible.

Noticing the desperation on Evelynʼs face as well as knowing the gap between their strength, Ilya knew this was their only chance.

”What are you doing, huh?” The guy glared at Evelyn before leaping toward her, putting his right hand in front as though he was about to stab her. ”You should have just screamed for me!”

It was at this moment a distortion appeared in front of his hand, stopping him for a second.

At the same time, Ilya had forcefully undergone the necessary steps to change her link from the normal one to a lifebound link.

”Take it. All my power!” Ilya shouted.

”Aahhhhh!” There was a surge of ena coming out of Evelynʼs body as her blond hair turned white.
