Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 607: Mind Battle (Bonus)

And that was when Nathan smiled.

Nathanʼs right arm abruptly recovered, as if nothing had happened.

”Watch out!”

”!!!” The leopard panicked. Nathanʼs right arm flicked the leopardʼs sword so that it would avoid him.

Then Nathan lowered his stance and gathered all his power into his fist. He even formed a bullet in front of his fist before punching the leopardʼs belly.

Nathan could feel that his punch was messing up the organs inside the leopard and the bullet even pierced through the stomach.

”Gah!” The leopard spat out a mouthful of blood as he was launched at the ceiling.

Bam!

”Damn you!” The panther and the ox were furious.

Nathan formed more bullets, but instead of attacking these two, he sent all these bullets toward their summoner.

”!!!” Both of them were distracted. They had just lost one of them, so they thought Nathan would end up having another trick in those bullets.

As they expected, Nathan really had a trick in those bullets, but not in the way they expected.

The lion slashed several bullets in rapid succession while their summonerʼs barrier managed to withstand all the bullets, leaving only a few cracks.

Relieved, the ox hit Nathan from the right. Nathan obviously had to jump to avoid the hammer, but the panther once again predicted his movement and intercepted him in the air.

All of a sudden, a flash appeared in the corner of his vision as four bullets suddenly emerged from the corridor and hit the panther.

”!!!” Two bullets hit his body, while the other two hit his right arm and left leg respectively.

With that injury, Nathan had no hesitation to kick him back to the ground.

”Gah!” The panther spat out a mouthful of blood.

The ox forcefully shifted his hammer and hit Nathan to blow him away, even if it meant it wasnʼt strong enough to hurt him. He just wanted to make sure that the panther was alive.

On the other hand, their summoner retrieved the leopard. ”Oi. Are you alright? Answer me.”

The lion bit his lips. ”His heart is still beating, but he is extremely weak. We have to close the wound or he will die.”

That surprise attack was simply too devilish. No one expected they would be fighting an immortal.

Nathan landed skillfully on the ground while the ox was helping the panther to get up.

All of them were thinking the same thing. ʼWhere the hell is his familiar?ʼ

They had been too wary of the potential familiar that would end up killing them through a sneak attack.

However, this was the first time they found a summoner who was weaker than them and refused to summon his familiars for this long. It made them wonder if Nathan had a familiar or not.

Still, they were afraid that if they dropped their guard down and focused on Nathan, it would allow Nathan to summon his familiars at the last second to ambush them.

They all knew how tricky Nathan was. Even those four bullets were actually the bullets that were supposed to attack their summoner.

But because of their extensive worry, their eyes shifted to her instead, which created a small blind spot.

Nathan shot those four bullets in the opposite direction and curved them back. In other words, they had been traveling inside the corridor the whole time and they were so fixated on Nathan that they never thought it would be possible.

ʼWe canʼt let this go on. Should we ignore the possibility of the familiar? But…ʼ The ox gritted his teeth, glancing at the leopard who was dying.

They really had no choice but to fight under this condition, not knowing that Nathan could never summon his familiar.

Amidst their confusion and hesitation, Nathan smirked and ran away.

”!!!” All of them gritted their teeth. On the one hand, they should chase after Nathan. On the other hand, this was definitely a trap.

What if they came out of the building and assisted the other grandmaster to beat Christopher instead? Nathan would definitely hide and launch a decisive attack that would turn the situation around. One or two familiars would definitely attack in that attack, not counting the harassment.

Although it was annoying, they had to keep Nathan here.

”Chase him. We have no other choice! Be careful. Weʼre going deeper into the building. That assassin might be lying in ambush!” Their summoner gave an order and a warning.

It was yet another possibility. Why would they struggle to fight someone weaker than them on their own turf? Even they couldnʼt comprehend it either.

The ox and the panther chased after Nathan, but the moment they entered the corridor, one explosive bullet was spotted behind a pillar.

”!!!” The ox hurriedly grabbed the panther and threw him in the opposite direction, shielding him with his much tougher body.

Boom!

The explosion caused the pillar and a portion of the wall to collapse on him.

Nathan stopped and sent forth all the bullets, taking advantage of the oxʼs condition to injure him as much as possible.

The panther was strengthening his body to the limit. All of the familiars were picked by their summoner because of their extraordinary physical abilities at the cost of their element.

He stepped forward, unleashing slashes beyond the pantherʼs speed limit. He struck down most bullets with his sword, leaving behind only ten bullets to hit the ox. Fortunately, none of them managed to pierce through his skin.

To his surprise, the panther noticed the incoming ena from behind and turned around, only to find a lot more bullets.

It turned out Nathan had sent the bullets in two directions. The first one was for a frontal attack, while the second group looped around and attacked him from behind.

Nathan had been going around the corridor this whole time and it turned out he had been mapping the corridor. He was turning their turf into his.

”You bastard…” The panther was stunned. This was the first time he saw an opponent being able to utilize their environment like Nathan.

It was as if Nathan was the devil in his den.
