Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 621: Inspiration

Evelyn didnʼt realize at that time she had underestimated Nathan a little too much. Just a few minutes after Bella walked away, she noticed Nathan was doing something weird.

Nathan was clutching and scratching his head as though he were frustrated. Evelyn knew it would take a while for Nathan to reach the answer.

But little did she know, Nathan was so frustrated that he had to seek all kinds of inspirations.

ʼWhat am I going to do? The ena flow is complicated, so I canʼt really use it. Should I control it better? How?

ʼI donʼt know. Evelyn hasnʼt given me any clues, so I have to think about it myself. At the same time, my knowledge about the power in this world is shallow.

ʼStill, a lot of explanations from the novels, whether theyʼre well explained or in the form of bullshit, are actually working in this world.

ʼIn that case, is there anything I can use as inspiration?

ʼThis worldʼs energy is called ena. However, the concept itself is similar to Mana for those magicians, or even Qi in the cultivation world.

ʼIs there something I can use? Maybe a cultivation world technique? I donʼt even know if they can work, but if I just take the concept and apply or adjust it to this worldʼs standard, would it work?

ʼSo, what? Qi? Sword Qi? Dantian? Maybe a technique name? Sword Intent? How about others? There are multiple factions in cultivation stories, such as Dual Cultivation, Demonic Cultivator, Demon Clan, Beast Clan, Buddha Sect?

ʼOr should I use Sword Intent, Spear Intent, Array, Formation, Alchemy, or Refining technique?ʼ

Nathanʼs eyebrows twitched, wondering if there was anything useful.

ʼThereʼs nothing I can do about it yet. How about other worlds? For example, Murim World? Orthodox Clan? Namgung, Tang, Jaegal? Unorthodox Clans? Northern Ice? Or maybe sects such as Mount Hua? Plum Blossom or something?

ʼI canʼt really think of anything. Mutants? Zombies? Apocalypse? Or maybe I should go for the magician stuff, especially their mana? Mana heart? Magic Circle?

ʼIs there even something I can use? Or maybe the Isekai novel is like I return to my home and find my sister transported to another world, so I have a truck hit me so I can bring back my sister from Isekai or something?

ʼIs there a power system that I can use to actually utilize this? No. What if I combine the knowledge of this world and knowledge from two different worlds instead of one? Thereʼs no one telling me I canʼt do that.

ʼEven in the mythologies, there are often gods or goddesses with similar names who are said to be the same person but just in a different mythology, like Jormungand and Ouroboros, if I remember correctly…ʼ

Nathan fell silent. When he thought about it, there was one memory that particularly stood out.

It was when he and Evelyn visited Revon to ask for his help.

Evelyn said Revon was honing his hand to the point where it was stronger than steel.

ʼHmmm…ʼ Nathan crossed his arms. ʼNow that I think about it, I have read a story where a certain MC is given a task of opening an unbreakable box that is said to contain a treasure.

ʼRather than opening the box and using the weapon inside, I have once asked myself why the MC is not using the box itself as a weapon. An unbreakable box is the same as having unbreakable armor if used correctly…

ʼThatʼs right. If Revonʼs arms have become harder than the steel, those arms have become a weapon on their own.

ʼIn that case, what if I add Sword Intent into the mix? No, itʼs not the Sword Intent. Itʼs more like the Sword Body.

ʼThe concept of having oneʼs body as if it were a sword. If my arms or my fingers are a weapon, canʼt I just discharge it by applying the same method as my current method?

ʼMy current method is to create a bullet right in front of my fingertips. That bullet will explode and release a beam. However, itʼs still an outside bullet.

ʼOn the other hand, what Evelyn showed earlier was releasing her ena directly from within her body.

ʼWhat if I use my body as a weapon and form that bullet inside my own body? Or at least, make that bullet inside my fingertip.

ʼAh. Thereʼs also Daoist Hanʼs overpowered middle finger, where he slashed his enemies solely with his middle finger.

ʼWhat if I combine all of them into a single technique to discharge my ena?ʼ Nathan blinked a few times.

Nathan fell silent for a moment before standing back up.

He closed his eyes, fully concentrating on his ena.

ʼFirst… I have to treat my hand like that of a weapon. Just like the gun… The fingertip is the barrel of my gun or… maybe the muzzle.

ʼIf I treat it according to my current technique, which is summoning the bullet, I need to isolate it from the rest of my ena flow.ʼ

Nathan controlled the ena in his body, especially around his hand, to go back to the heart, leaving behind a concentrated lump of ena in his middle finger.

”!!!” Evelyn widened her eyes in shock, noticing this one was different from what he had tried so far.

ʼHaving Revonʼs strong arms as the basis, using my current method, utilizing the advantage of the Sword Bodyʼs concept, taking inspiration from Daoist Hanʼs middle finger, and improvising it to suit this worldʼs concept…ʼ

Nathan raised his hand as the ena in his middle finger was about to burst out.

Previously, Nathan would create a sphere in front of his finger and turn it into a beam, which acted like a pistol. But this time, Nathan formed that bullet inside his finger.

”Fucking Gun!” Nathan lifted up his hand and pointed at the lake with his middle finger, releasing his ena in one go like he usually shot.

There was no need to care about the flow anymore since the ena in his hand had been isolated from the ena in his ena vein.

The compressed ena suddenly burst out and shot out a massive beam.

Boom!
