Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 628: An Attack (Bonus)

Boom!

”Gaaahhh!”

Several people near the door were blasted away. The remaining people turned around while raising their stances.

”What happened?”

”An attack?”

”Who?!”

The Rising Star Banquet had all the geniuses among all academies, so they were guarded heavily.

In fact, there was one world class summoner and two arcane level summoners ensuring the safety of the students.

Yet someone actually dared to attack them?

Before they could get their answer, a black-colored creature emerged from the smoke.

”Raaa!”

The creature was similar to the alien, but the darkness of their color was much paler, which was different from the solid black the symbiote had.

”An alien?”

”But itʼs different.”

”This is strong!”

One of the students stepped forward.

”I will stop it!” The muscular student covered himself with rocks.

”Thatʼs… the Guardian Golem, Aikash.” The students recognized him as one of the top summoners who excelled in defense.

Yet the moment the creature reached and punched him, Aikashʼs right arm was instantly broken. His left arm remained intact, but the force from the creature launched him away.

Bam!

”Aarrgghhh!” Aikash screamed in pain while holding his right arm.

The people were stunned. How could that creature defeat Aikash so easily?

”We…”

They panicked, but the enemies didnʼt seem to be planning to let them leave easily. More and more creatures entered the hall.

”There are more of them!”

”Run!”

”Thereʼs no way we can stop a creature that can easily defeat Aikash.”

The people started screaming. They didnʼt understand what was going on, but the priority was to survive.

”Calm down! Calm down, everyone.” Jay shouted while standing in front of Melissa, trying to protect her. ”Donʼt panic yet. Release your familiars and form a group. Even if we canʼt beat them by ourselves, we have our familiars and other students.

”Letʼs put aside our differences and work together to fight these creatures. We have to fight together!”

Some of the people listened to him. However, they had a hard time regrouping with each other because of the panicking students. They were running around, finding no way to escape.

As a result, some of the students just summoned their familiars and fought by themselves.

”Attack. As long as we can stop them, people will calm down!”

Those who were truly strong managed to remain calm and counterattack.

However, their effort was futile.

One of the creatures was surrounded by three familiars at the same time. Yet this creature crushed the familiars one by one in rapid succession.

”What?” The summoner was in shock, trying to recall the familiars that the creature was about to kill.

And that was the time for the first blood to spill.

”Gaahhh! Help…” The creature pierced through his heart and lifted him up for everyone to see.

”!!!” Jay widened his eyes in shock. ”Not good!”

The moment they saw the first casualty, the panicking people simply went on a rampage.

”Run!”

”We have to run!”

The situation was so chaotic that even Jay couldnʼt see how he could calm them down and take the lead of the resistance anymore.

Melissaʼs face turned pale. ”Jay. We have to fight together and regroup with our students from our academy. We have to retreat.”

”Yeah. Evelyn has a familiar with a space element, so weʼll ask her to teleport us and as many students as possible. Can you keep up with me?”

Melissa nodded firmly. ”Yes.”

Jay immediately summoned his familiars while searching for others. However, he was startled when a creature approached him.

Two of his familiars immediately moved to the front while Jay snapped his fingers, creating a small field that boosted the familiarsʼ performances.

The creature overpowered his familiars and continued its way toward him.

Having lost the initial momentum, the creature punched Jay with less power. As he calculated, Jay stopped the creature with both hands.

”Melissa.”

Melissa nodded and drew a star on the floor. ”Activate!”

The star symbol shone before releasing a chain that circled around the creatureʼs neck and pulled it down.

Jay then stomped the creature, planting it to the ground. Even if it didnʼt kill the creature, it would still buy them some time to regroup.

”Letʼs—!” Before they could take another step, it was time for the second wave of attack.

The entire wall was blasted open, revealing several people.

…

Meanwhile, Evelyn was in a much more serious predicament.

Unlike the others, she was surrounded by two creatures at the same time.

Evelyn glanced to the sides, wondering where Bella was. The two creatures took advantage of this opportunity to approach her and punch her.

Evelyn raised the gravity of the area around her, pressing the two creatures down to the ground.

Unfortunately for her, the two creatures resisted her power and continued onward.

”!!!” Evelyn frowned, thinking, ʼTheir physical strength is ridiculous. However, it doesnʼt seem they can use ena.ʼ

As a result, Evelyn switched her plan. She skillfully dodged both of them. At the same time, she used their force to rip apart her skirt.

Then she cut the rest by forming a small blade with her ena.

Since both of them missed, the two creatures hurriedly turned around and chased after Evelyn.

”Ilya. Get ready to transport everyone outside. We will need your strength to save as many people as possible.”

Her familiar, Ilya, surprisingly, shook her head. ”Impossible. There is actually a barrier that messes up with the space element. It seems the enemies have taken precautions for my space element.”

”What?” Evelyn gritted her teeth. While dodging the two creatures, she flicked her hands, hitting them with huge rubbles around her. ”In that case, we will find others and evacuate this place. If we can find the barrier, we will destroy it and escape. Or else, weʼll stick to the most basic way.

”Drake. Have you found Bella?”

”She is over there. It seems she and Miss Vivian are fighting one—!”

Before her familiar could finish his words, Vivian abruptly turned around while her familiar raised his arms as a human kicked him.

”Gah!” Her familiar crashed into the wall with both arms broken.

”Well… to think thereʼs someone strong enough to handle multiple of them at once.” A guy with sharp teeth smirked. ”Look at you. Youʼre so beautiful… it makes me want to ruin you.”
