Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 349 It’s my turn to test if you can take a beating.Outside the Laboratory.

Su Chen was quick-witted and agile; he snatched the iron rod thrown by The Gorilla, exerted sudden strength in his arm, utilized the immense power granted by his Mecha Suit, and then hurled it forcefully back toward it.

The iron rod streaked through the air like an arrow released from a bowstring, moving at an astonishing speed with a roaring whistle, its momentum immense as it sped toward The Gorilla!

Just as it was about to strike, at that critical, hair-breadth moment, The Gorilla displayed unimaginable agility. It swerved violently to the side, dodging the projectile with the same astonishing speed, as nimbly as a phantom!

The movement was fluid and seamless, as if it had long since anticipated the iron rod’s flight path.

This sudden and shocking scene instantly stunned everyone present.

Commander Liu Chengzhi widened his eyes in utter disbelief, even suspecting that he might be dreaming!

He subconsciously reached out to rub his eyes, muttering to himself:

”This is incredible! That speed is too exaggerated; to be able to dodge a weapon thrown by a Mecha Suit so easily... is this really a speed that a carbon-based lifeform can possess?”

”It’s simply unbelievable!”

And this astonishing scene was just the beginning; even more exaggerated things were yet to come.

Seeing that the iron rod had missed, Su Chen quickly activated the ammunition launching device on his shoulder. With a rapid ”da-da-da” sound, a barrage of cold-glinting ammunition poured out toward The Gorilla!

The rain of bullets wove into a dense net of firepower, enveloping The Gorilla.

However, to everyone’s utter astonishment, The Gorilla seemed to possess the ability to foresee the future. It weaved flexibly back and forth through the hail of bullets, and the ammunition, like blind flies, missed completely thanks to its dazzlingly agile maneuvers!

They struck the surrounding walls one after another, sparking flashes of fire.

Seeing this, Elder Qin was also stunned with his mouth agape, his eyes wide as he exclaimed:

”This gorilla can even dodge bullets!”

”Goodness, it has truly become a spirit!”

”The Genetic Enhancement Serum that Little Chen invented—isn’t its effect a bit too overpowered?”

”This is no longer a normal experimental result; it’s simply the creation of a monster that defies common sense!”

Su Chen was also filled with surprise at this moment; he knew full well what this meant!

To be able to maneuver for several rounds under such fierce attacks from the Individual Combat Mecha was sufficient proof of the Genetic Enhancement Serum’s powerful effect.

Of course, all of this happened while Su Chen was holding back. He knew clearly that he had only exerted ten percent of his strength; after all, it was just a test, and he didn’t want to cause any harm to The Gorilla, as there was still a lot of follow-up research that depended on it.

”If it keeps dodging, I can’t perfectly test the effects of the Genetic Enhancement Serum.”

Su Chen pondered silently, then shouted aloud:

”Come on, let me see how sturdy your body is!”

As he spoke, Su Chen stomped his feet hard against the ground, and his entire body shot toward The Gorilla like a bolt of lightning. The speed was so fast that it left only an afterimage, and in the blink of an eye, he was right in front of it.

The Gorilla narrowed its eyes slightly, and its large mouth curled upward, revealing a cunning smile!

It seemed to realize that it had no advantage when fighting Su Chen at long range!

Seeing Su Chen charge over voluntarily now suited its intentions perfectly, and it had been waiting for Su Chen to engage in close-quarters combat.

Seeing Su Chen arrive at close range, The Gorilla did not hesitate; it swung its sandbag-sized fist, infused with the immense power granted by the 2.0 Genetic Enhancement Serum, and struck fiercely toward Su Chen.

This punch was fierce, and the wind generated by the fist caused the surrounding air to emit a ”woo-woo” sound!

The force appeared capable of splitting mountains and shattering rocks.

With a loud ”bang,” Su Chen, who was caught off guard, was sent flying by this punch!

He flew backward like a cannonball, slamming heavily into the wall of the Laboratory!

A large hole was instantly smashed open, with gravel and bricks flying everywhere, kicking up a cloud of dust.

”Oh no!”

Seeing this, Elder Qin and Commander Liu Chengzhi felt their hearts leap to their throats. With faces full of terror, they subconsciously rushed forward a few steps, fearing that Su Chen might have suffered some fatal injury.

At this moment, the Individual Mecha beside them emitted a notification sound and said calmly:

”All of Mr. Su’s bodily functions are normal. Under the protection of the Mecha Suit, that impact just now caused him no harm; please rest assured, both of you.”

”However... normally, he should have been able to dodge that punch, but he did not evade it; the situation is somewhat unusual.”

Upon hearing this, Commander Liu Chengzhi’s face showed a bitter smile, and he said with a helpless and slightly reproachful expression:

”I’m afraid Little Chen was just testing the strength of The Gorilla after the enhancement!”

”This kid, he’s so reckless every time he conducts an experiment; he really doesn’t let people rest easy!”

Soon, Su Chen stood up from the pile of rubble, brushed the dust off his body, and acted as if nothing had happened.

Commander Liu Chengzhi knew him too well; seeing him like this, he guessed his intentions.

At this moment, there was not a trace of pain on Su Chen’s face after taking the punch; instead, he radiated an irrepressible excitement!

His eyes shone, and he said excitedly:

”What powerful strength!”

”It seems the effect of the 2.0 Genetic Enhancement Serum is even more powerful than I imagined!”

”The power carried by that punch just now is enough to surpass even the most ferocious beasts. If this were applied to the human body, it would be incredible!”

Hearing his words, Elder Qin first breathed a sigh of relief, but then couldn’t help but sigh again, saying with a worried face: ”Little Chen, you are really too crazy. Who uses their own body for testing?”

”If this Mecha Suit had developed any malfunction, the consequences would have been unimaginable. You really need to be more careful!”

Looking over at The Gorilla, seeing that it had sent Su Chen flying with one punch, it immediately became excited and danced with joy, excitedly pounding its chest while making ”woo-woo” sounds!

It looked as if it thought it had already managed to overpower Su Chen, its face full of smugness, its tail almost reaching the sky.

Seeing Su Chen stand up and choose to take the initiative to attack again, The Gorilla was stunned for a moment, a flash of confusion in its eyes, but it soon returned to its fierce appearance.

Su Chen saw its arrogance, couldn’t help but laugh, and shouted aloud:

”Alright! I’ve tested your strength; now it’s my turn to test how well you can take a punch!”

As he spoke, Su Chen shot out again like an arrow released from a bowstring. At this moment, he pushed his speed to the limit, his entire body turning into a blurry streak of light, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of The Gorilla.

At the same time, he exerted thirty percent of his strength, clenched his fist, and unleashed a powerful, heavy punch toward The Gorilla.

The power contained in this punch was terrifying. With a loud ”boom,” The Gorilla’s massive body was like a ragdoll, sent directly into the air, flying high and tracing a parabola in the sky.

That wasn’t all; Su Chen exerted force with his feet, instantly leaping into the air to pursue the still-airborne Gorilla, followed immediately by a series of dense, raindrop-like strikes, each punch landing squarely on its body!

Each punch that landed brought a dull thud, as if the air itself was being beaten into a crackling sound.

Until the final punch, Su Chen used his full strength and slammed it hard into The Gorilla!

He sent it flying to the ground like a meteorite. With a ”boom,” the ground was instantly smashed into a large crater, sending dust flying!

The Laboratory shook violently, as if a small earthquake had occurred.

Everyone assumed that The Gorilla would definitely be completely finished this time!

But just as they widened their eyes and prepared to go forward to check the situation!

They suddenly discovered!

That The Gorilla was actually standing up from the crater, bit by bit!
