Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 308 Top SecretAfter the Dragon Country unleashed its swift, decisive, and highly intimidating thunderous methods, the Eagle side became like a frost-bitten eggplant, completely losing that previous arrogant and overbearing attitude.

They had no choice but to sheepishly retract the restrictive order that had caused such a huge uproar.

It was quite dramatic, to say the least.

When they initially leaked the news about issuing the restrictive order, it was merely with ulterior motives, attempting to test the domestic public’s potential resistance to banning the influx of Dragon Country new concept cars!

In reality, that restrictive order hadn’t even had the chance to be truly implemented.

Yet even if it was just a feint, in the face of the Dragon Country’s tough and decisive response, they were still thoroughly slapped in the face this time!

The sound of that slap was crisp and loud, like heavy hammers striking their faces, causing them to lose all face and completely becoming the laughingstock of the whole world.

Media outlets from various countries reported on this with sharp and mocking prose. Some featured shocking photos on their front pages of the Aerospace Carrier hovering above the Eagle side, with large captions next to it: ”Hegemony meets a stronger power, prestige swept away.”

Others produced special videos, editing together clips of the Eagle side’s top brass previously swearing to boycott Dragon Country new concept cars, contrasting it with their shocked and cowardly appearance when facing the Aerospace Carrier. The view counts soared instantly, and the comment sections were filled with mockery.

Upon learning that the restrictive order had been lifted, the joy in the hearts of the public in the Eagle side was like ignited fireworks, instantly bursting into brilliant bloom.

After all, that batch of Dragon Country new concept cars combined many advanced features, yet the price was astonishingly affordable, like a treasure of great value. Previously, they had been blocked by the ”iron gate” of the restrictive order, but now they finally had the chance to acquire them.

Consequently, in the streets and alleys of the cities, many people spontaneously organized themselves, holding up colorful banners filled with demands and celebratory words, flooding the streets like a tide to parade and celebrate.

However, the atmosphere of this parade was vastly different from before. It was no longer about protesting the authorities’ various unreasonable measures with faces full of resentment—such as unfair taxation or the lack of livelihood guarantees—but rather, it was clearly aimed at humiliating the Eagle side authorities, who had previously, for the sake of capital interests, not hesitated to use high-pressure water cannons, tear gas, and other tough measures to suppress the public.

Look at the front of The White House; it was packed with people, and the public sentiment was fervent.

Young students held up homemade placards that read, ”Capital puppets, give us back our freedom to buy cars,” their eyes full of condemnation for the authorities’ previous perverse actions!

Ordinary office workers, dressed in neat work clothes, shouted at the top of their lungs, ”The government has lost credibility, Dragon Country new concept cars must be allowed in!”

The voices echoed across the wide plaza, fully expressing their desire to own high-cost-performance vehicles!

There were even white-haired elders, trembling as they leaned on their canes, pointing their fingers at the palace that symbolized power, bitterly criticizing, ”Short-sighted, misleading the country and the people.”

This situation was just like a ”rebellion carnival” of public opinion. Even the public of the Eagle side stood on the side of the Dragon Country without hesitation at this moment. The scene was enough to make the rulers of the Eagle side feel like they were sitting on pins and needles, extremely embarrassed.

President Biden stood in front of the window of The White House, which was luxuriously decorated but now felt like a ”cage,” watching the bustling and surging crowds of protesters at the entrance. He felt a burning pain on his face, as if he had been slapped hard in public!

The burning sensation went straight from his cheeks to his heart.

He was trembling with rage, and the flames of anger were burning fiercely in his chest!

His tightly clenched fists had white knuckles from the force. He wished he could rush out immediately to disperse the crowd, but reason poured over him like cold water, making him realize that in the face of this surging wave of public opinion, he was truly helpless.

After all, the public’s grievances had been deep for a long time, and the powerful strength displayed by the Dragon Country this time was like a ”Sword of Damocles” hanging over his head, making him dare not act rashly again!

He could only swallow his teeth and endure it. That feeling of being stifled was just like being tightly bound by ropes, unable to move—it was indescribably uncomfortable.

Just then, the Secretary of State rushed over, looking anxious!

His hurried footsteps tapped out a series of frantic sounds on the smooth marble floor. He didn’t care about etiquette and went straight up to President Biden, saying in a slightly breathless but urgent voice:

”Mr. President, I have an important piece of news to tell you.”

President Biden was feeling irritable, his mind filled with the thorny chaos outside the window. He shrugged in annoyance, his brows furrowed into a ” river” shape, and replied impatiently:

”No need, I’ve already seen it.”

As he spoke, his eyes remained fixed on the protesters outside, as if he wanted to vent all his resentment through his gaze. His brows were furrowed even tighter, almost enough to crush a fly.

The Secretary of State followed his gaze, shook his head in understanding, and hurriedly explained:

”I’m not talking about the rioting public outside, but about Musk!”

”You know, Musk is a big company in our country that specializes in rocket research, and it has quite a lot of influence in the industry. I heard they have recently achieved some pretty good results in technology!”

Upon hearing this, President Biden, who was originally full of irritation and helplessness, was suddenly stunned!

A glimmer of curiosity flashed instantly in his eyes, which had seemed to be shrouded in clouds of worry!

Like someone trapped in a quagmire grabbing a straw, he quickly said:

”Tell me in detail.”

Seeing this, the Secretary of State’s mouth curled up slightly, revealing a look of self-satisfaction!

He leaned close to President Biden’s ear, lowered his voice, and spoke mysteriously as if sharing a top-secret.

As he spoke, President Biden’s expression gradually changed!

A look of astonishment slowly crept onto his face, his eyes widened, and his mouth opened slightly—he was clearly shocked by this sudden and pleasantly surprising news!

”Is everything you said true?”

The Secretary of State patted his chest, a cunning smile appearing on his face.

”Of course!”

”I’ve already arranged it with Musk, and he welcomes us to go take a look!”

Hope was rekindled on President Biden’s face. As the former leader of the Blue Planet, now that his status had been seized by the Dragon Country, he felt very uncomfortable inside!

Now, hearing the news brought by the Secretary of State, he felt that he might be able to regain some face!

He immediately gave the order:

”Let’s go! Take me to Musk’s company!”

”I want to see for myself what the situation is!”

President Biden couldn’t wait, and then he and the Secretary of State went to Musk’s company together!

Because they had contacted him in advance, Musk had already been waiting for a long time!

After seeing Musk, President Biden excitedly shook his hand!

”Respected Mr. Musk, I heard that your company has mastered the technology for landing on Mars?”

Musk glanced at the Secretary of State, who also had a look of expectant joy on his face!

Musk smiled calmly:

”To tell you the truth...”
