Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 313 Farming on an Alien Planet!Su Chen’s words echoed in the car, like a bugle call for battle, stirring and exhilarating!

Su Chen’s few words carried profound meaning!

This meant that the Dragon Kingdom was about to embark on a magnificent interstellar journey that would rewrite human history.

After returning to the Laboratory, Su Chen did not dive headfirst into experimental equipment and data as usual; instead, he first called Elder Qin.

At that moment, Elder Qin was organizing a crucial high-level meeting. The atmosphere in the conference room was solemn yet fervent, with many high-ranking officials of the Dragon Kingdom gathered together, some sitting upright, others whispering to each other, discussing various matters concerning the country’s development strategy.

Elder Qin stood at the podium, holding documents, eloquently expounding on the core content of the meeting. His voice was steady and powerful, echoing throughout the spacious conference room.

Logically speaking, a meeting of this level had strict protocols and discipline and could not be easily interrupted.

However, when his assistant rushed to his side and whispered that it was Su Chen calling with an important report, Elder Qin’s expression sharpened, and he raised his hand without hesitation to signal a pause in the meeting!

Leaving the confused and slightly disgruntled high-ranking officials aside, he walked quickly to the corner to answer the phone.

”You brat, why are you calling at this time? I’m organizing a meeting!”

Although Elder Qin’s tone carried a hint of feigned reproach, it was mostly filled with the importance and anticipation he placed on Su Chen’s call.

Hearing the noisy background sounds on the other end of the line, Su Chen realized that his call might not be well-timed!

He quickly said:

”Then you go ahead with your meeting; I’ll contact you later.”

Elder Qin laughed heartily and said:

”Forget it, your business is more important. Go ahead, what is it?”

Su Chen grinned and joked: ”You saying that really makes me flattered!”

He paused for a moment, then stated the purpose of his call:

”It’s like this, Elder Qin. I think it’s time for our country to launch the Interstellar Colonization Project.”

Elder Qin had just picked up his water bottle to moisten his dry throat. Upon hearing these words, his hand shook violently, and the bottle almost fell!

The smile on his face froze instantly, replaced by utter shock and confusion!

He put down the water bottle and seriously repeated what Su Chen had just said:

”Little Chen, what did you just say? You want to apply to launch the Interstellar Colonization Project????”

”Doesn’t that involve many technical difficulties? You previously said it might take some time.”

Su Chen replied with a calm smile: ”They can already be solved.”

Elder Qin was so excited that his voice trembled slightly:

”So fast!”

He looked around and, seeing that no one in the conference room was paying attention to him for the moment, lowered his voice and said urgently:

”Right, do you have a computer nearby? Let’s do this...”

”We might as well seize this opportunity. Explain the details of your Interstellar Colonization Project to us properly!”

Elder Qin hung up the phone and hurried back to the conference room. The high-level officials immediately erupted into a commotion, with complaints arising one after another.

Elder Zhao was the first to stand up, looking displeased as he said:

”Hey, Old Qin, where did you go?”

”You just disappeared after taking a call, leaving us old fogies here. What is this all about!”

Others chimed in, either shaking their heads and sighing or showing annoyance, expressing their dissatisfaction with the meeting being interrupted for no apparent reason.

Elder Qin acted as if he hadn’t heard them. With a solemn yet excited expression, he waved his hand and immediately said:

”Today’s meeting is temporarily canceled.”

Now, the high-level officials in the room were even more confused. They looked at each other, their eyes filled with doubt and astonishment!

”It’s canceled just like that???”

”What on earth happened?”

Someone muttered quietly, making a move to stand up and leave.

Seeing this, Elder Qin raised his voice, his tone dignified and unquestionable:

”I said the meeting is canceled, not that you can leave. Everyone come back!”

”Wait a moment, someone is going to conduct a meeting for you!”

Everyone was full of suspicion, returning to their seats and whispering to each other, guessing what was about to happen!

They secretly wondered if the Top Leader had given urgent instructions, or if there had been some major incident.

Before long, several staff members filed in, nimbly adjusting the screens!

After connecting the communication software and performing tense but orderly operations, a young man’s face appeared on the big screen!

It was Su Chen!

Seeing Su Chen, everyone was even more baffled!

”Comrade Su Chen, why is he the one holding the meeting for us?”

”Eh? What is Old Qin doing? Isn’t Comrade Su Chen a researcher? Can he hold a meeting for us too?”

Elder Zhao was even more perplexed. He walked over to Old Qin and asked in a low voice:

”What’s the situation? Why did you bring Little Chen here?”

Elder Qin’s mouth curled up, revealing a mysterious smile. He leaned close to Elder Zhao’s ear and whispered:

”You’ll know what’s going on in a moment.”

Elder Zhao was amused by his demeanor, rolled his eyes at him, and said:

”You’re still being coy. I’ll see what kind of medicine you’re selling in your gourd.”

As the staff successfully set up the video, Elder Qin also sat down off the stage.

The high-level officials of the Dragon Kingdom focused their gaze uniformly on Su Chen on the big screen, their eyes full of curiosity and anticipation, all waiting for him to speak.

At this moment, although the conference room was quiet enough to hear a pin drop, one could still faintly hear some suppressed murmurs!

Everyone was guessing in their hearts what Su Chen was going to say next.

Su Chen was fully prepared. He straightened his back, his gaze firm and confident as he scanned the high-level officials in front of the screen, cleared his throat, and began:

”Leaders and superiors, I’m taking up some of your time!”

”I hope you will let me say a few words!”

”Recently, we have achieved a huge breakthrough in the field of grain farming!”

”It is enough to change the current production landscape!”

”Therefore... I suggest the country launch the Interstellar Colonization Project!”

Upon hearing this, everyone was stunned at first, their minds racing as they tried to figure out the connection between the breakthrough in farming technology and the Interstellar Colonization Project!

Their faces were full of confusion.

Before they could recover, Su Chen continued:

”I think some leaders might be curious about the connection here!”

”What I want to say is! This series of technologies we have broken through are all technologies that facilitate interstellar colonization!”

”In other words, after launching the Interstellar Colonization Project, relying on our farming technology...”

”We can go farming on alien planets!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire venue fell silent instantly, as if time had frozen.

About a few seconds later, the venue was like a lit powder keg, instantly exploding into an uproar.

Everyone’s eyes widened in shock, their faces full of disbelief, and the sound of whispering arose one after another.

”Interstellar Colonization Project!!!!”

”Farming on alien planets!!!!”

”Unbelievable, simply unbelievable!”

”Someone punch me; I’m not dreaming, am I?!”

”Ah! Ouch! It’s real! I’m not dreaming!”
