Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 348 What the hell is this monster?Su Chen: ”Thanks for the compliment... Huh???”

Commander Liu Chengzhi: ”Huh?”

Elder Qin: ”Huh?”

In an instant, the atmosphere in the entire Laboratory seemed to freeze!

Immediately after, the sound of machinery whirring echoed. The cannons on the Space Mecha and the Particle Laser Cannon of the Individual Combat Mecha all aimed at the cage in the blink of an eye. Everyone stared fixedly at The Gorilla inside the cage, completely dumbfounded!

Su Chen was no exception. His mouth hung wide open, unable to close for a long time, and his mind went blank. He was completely shocked by this sudden turn of events.

Commander Liu Chengzhi and Elder Qin were soldiers who had experienced countless baptisms of fire and had seen all kinds of major situations. Yet, at this moment, while they couldn’t exactly say they were afraid, they were genuinely too stunned to speak, their hearts churning with surprise and confusion.

It was all because!

The Gorilla had spoken!!!!

”Little Chen, your Genetic Enhancement Serum is awesome!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was the first to snap out of it, and he couldn’t help but exclaim in admiration:

”It can even make animals talk and awaken their intelligence?”

”This is just too incredible!”

Su Chen was also confused at this moment!

”No, no! The effects of the Genetic Enhancement Serum aren’t instantaneous. According to previous experimental records, it takes about five minutes to take effect!”

Elder Qin and Commander Liu Chengzhi looked at each other, their eyes filled with confusion, both thinking:

What... is going on here????

”Didn’t they say animals aren’t allowed to become spirits after the founding of the country?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi muttered in a low voice.

”If it’s not the effect of the Genetic Enhancement Serum, is this guy a natural-born talker?”

Elder Qin frowned and speculated: ”That’s not right either. I never heard of it being able to talk back at the Zoo.”

Just as everyone was filled with confusion and making various guesses, The Gorilla was startled by the weapons on the mechas aimed directly at it. It hurriedly raised its hands and shouted urgently:

”Don’t... kill... me, I am... good!”

Although the pronunciation was still a bit stiff, the meaning was expressed very clearly; anyone could understand that it was begging for mercy.

Su Chen felt his scalp tingle, and he couldn’t help but complain to himself:

”Damn! Why does this feel like Planet of the Apes? This is just too bizarre!”

He suppressed the shock in his heart and then asked:

”We won’t kill you, but you have to tell me when you learned to speak. No, tell me, when did you gain self-awareness?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi grinned and said skeptically: ”Does it even know what self-awareness is? Don’t bother asking; it’s a waste of time.”

The Gorilla heard Commander Liu Chengzhi’s words, turned its head to look at him, and said unhurriedly:

”I was after the first injection.”

Su Chen instinctively shook the Genetic Enhancement Serum he was still holding in his hand and asked, looking stunned: ”Is it this?”

The Gorilla looked at the Genetic Enhancement Serum in Su Chen’s hand and nodded vigorously, looking as if it wasn’t lying.

Su Chen was shocked. He narrowed his eyes slightly, his brows furrowed tightly, and he suddenly realized that he might have overlooked some important details!

Indeed, things like genes, which involve the mysteries of life, cannot be touched casually. If one is not careful, it is very easy to create some unexpected problems that could even lead to serious consequences!

And if The Gorilla wasn’t lying to him, it meant that after the Genetic Enhancement Serum briefly caused certain genes to mutate, they didn’t all return to their original state as previously thought. It was possible that some genes had undergone permanent mutation. Wasn’t this the permanent enhancement he had been longing for?

Thinking of this, Su Chen secretly decided that it seemed the plan to recruit volunteers would have to be temporarily cancelled. Until this issue was thoroughly understood, he couldn’t easily use humans for experiments; this concerned human life safety and the stability of the entire society.

Just as he was thinking this, about five minutes had passed, and the Genetic Enhancement Serum began to take its originally intended effect. Suddenly, The Gorilla let out a heaven-shaking roar!

The roar echoed in the Laboratory, making everyone’s ears ring.

Immediately after, its body size began to grow crazily at a speed visible to the naked eye. Its original height of about 1.5 meters, after the enhancement, suddenly expanded like a balloon!

It suddenly reached over two meters tall!

Its entire body’s muscles were like cast steel, bulging, filled with explosive power.

It stretched out its fan-like hands and gripped the iron cage tightly. The sturdy metal cage, which could originally withstand huge impact forces, was forcibly bent under its immense strength with a ”creak, creak” sound. The twisted metal bars seemed to tell of the terror of this power at that moment.

Its eyes also became increasingly lively, as if it possessed true human intelligence!

Revealing a sense of depth and cunning.

Subsequently, The Gorilla swaggered out of the bent iron cage step by step. Every step it took was like a heavy hammer hitting the ground, emitting a dull sound, and the entire Laboratory seemed to tremble slightly with it.

This scene stunned everyone!

Elder Qin widened his eyes, looked at Su Chen, and said in alarm:

”You brat! Didn’t you say you wanted to research improving human physique?”

”How did this create a monster???”

Seeing that the situation was getting out of control, the Individual Mecha immediately rushed in front of everyone, shielding them behind it!

At the same time.

Almost instantly, Su Chen pressed the high-tech-looking watch on his wrist.

The black suitcase, which had been placed on the second floor of the Laboratory, smashed through the glass, traced a beautiful arc in the air, and charged towards Su Chen on the first floor!

Just as it was about to reach Su Chen, the black suitcase broke apart and transformed into the Mecha Suit, which Su Chen wore!

”Sorry Pilot, I’m late!”

”No! BT! You arrived just in time!”

After putting on the Mecha Suit, Su Chen told Old Liu and Elder Qin to step back!

He was going to take on the enhanced The Gorilla one-on-one!

Commander Liu Chengzhi was a bit worried: ”Little Chen, after this The Gorilla’s enhancement, its combat power is a bit alarming!”

”Be careful!”

Elder Qin was relatively calmer!

”No matter how much this The Gorilla is enhanced, it is still a carbon-based organism after all. Su Chen will definitely be able to handle it easily!”

But just as he said these words!

He suddenly widened his eyes slightly!

They saw The Gorilla actually break off the wrist-thick iron cage and use it as its own weapon!

It roared: ”Humans, crawl under... my butt...!”

Then it violently threw the iron bar in its hand as a ”weapon”!

The target was none other than Su Chen!

Sensing The Gorilla’s malice, Su Chen gave a disdainful cold snort!

A beast is just a beast!

I won’t arrange a female gorilla for you!

As he spoke, he grabbed the iron bar that had been thrown at him!
