Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1042: Chapter 1036 Qing Zhu_1

Qin Xue waited for Qing Zhu’s afterbirth to be delivered and cleaned her up, then moved her to the other side to rest. The medicine that Qin Xue used on her leg was brought by herself, regardless of any consideration, it was nurtured with spiritual energy and spiritual spring water, therefore its effectiveness was bound to be better than others outside. She used it on her for the sake of preventing inflammation and speeding up her recovery; that was an understandable action.

“Qin Xue, that man hasn’t left yet. He’s still waiting outside the door.” Ouyang Ziyu had taken a specific look at him when she came in and realizes that guy just won’t give up, as he kept waiting outside.

“Keep an eye on him to prevent him from taking away Qing Zhu, I will find people to take him to the police station for investigation. By then, we’ll know whether he’s human or ghost, won’t we?” Qin Xue thought that the only way to solve the problem was by striking at its root.

“That’s a good idea, you go. I will protect them, mother and daughter, and I certainly won’t let anyone come to take them away.” Ouyang while speaking, she couldn’t guarantee everything, but she was confident about her own physical skills.

“Good, then I will leave it to you. Be careful. They say a bird in flight may still strike the tree, let alone this is human.” Qin Xue instructed Ouyang Ziyu anxiously.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. We aren’t too far from the soldiers outside. If anything happens, I can just scream for help. You hurry up and come back soon.” Ouyang Ziyu said. If she can’t deal with it, she can always call for help, couldn’t she?

“Um, then I’ll go, if the child gets hungry before I come back, just scoop out a bit of the water from the cup and give her a drink. Remember to take only a little bit, otherwise, she might choke.” Qin Xue mentioned possible problems when the child wakes up to Ouyang Ziyu before leaving the tent. She also took a glance at that man.

“Ah, doctor, could you tell me how our poor niece from the village is doing? I heard the baby crying. It’s been a long time, she should be out now, right?”. The man asked as soon as he saw Qin Xue. It’s not that he didn’t ask Ouyang Ziyu, it’s just that Ouyang Ziyu told him to wait and then she left, so he had to continue to wait. Otherwise, where would he go looking for someone?

“The woman’s leg was fractured and she can’t move about for now. Plus, she’s just given birth and is very weak. If we aren’t careful, she might bleed heavily and life can be threatened. So, we’re letting her rest inside. Once the road is accessible, we’ll send her to the hospital. As for the baby, since the baby was born prematurely, the baby is small and the condition is weak. There could be more problems if we don’t pay more attention. You should know that premature babies and full-term babies are quite different.

Many premature babies can’t make it, even if they survive, that’s only because they are from wealthy families who can afford to provide the best treatments. So, I thought it best to keep them monitored for another twenty-four hours. After further checking, if there isn’t any problem, hopefully, by then the roads should be clear too. Then you can take them to the hospital for follow-up treatment. Would you find this plan problematic?” Qin Xue said half-truthfully.

Even if the child is a bit weak, with her spiritual spring water, she can recover once she gets a sip of it. That’s not much of an issue. The real problem is that she needs to find people to take this man away now. She’s afraid that the man will barge in after she leaves, which was the thing she was most worried about. So, it’s better to put him at ease with her words for now.

“Oh, I see. Alright then, I’ll just wait. Thank you, doctor.” The man thanked her with a smile. Damn it! Why is it so trouble some? However, he couldn’t leave either, after all, the doctor said so. He, being the one who brought her in, knew her condition better than the doctor her, and him staying outside the curtain all the time, he didn’t hear Zhang Xue or them say anything. So, he didn’t expect that Qing Zhu would have already told Qin Xue everything.
