Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1008: Chapter 1002: Making Delicious Dishes_1

“Alright, thank you, sis.” Qin Jiale didn’t expect her sister to bring her revision materials. This was something her classmates could only dream of. She was really happy right now. She couldn’t believe how much her sister had changed after getting married. Everything her sister does is for her and their family. If she’d known this would happen, she wondered if it’d be better if her sister had married one or two years earlier.

While Qin Jiale was thinking of this, what she didn’t realize was that her sister was no longer the sister she used to know. Even if her sister had married one or two years earlier, things wouldn’t necessarily be the same. They could even be worse than when she was at home. So sometimes, change is not just about the person but who they become afterwards.

So Qin Jiale’s thoughts were actually oversimplified. Because two years ago, Qin Xue was just a student who had just graduated from school without any other experiences.

“Silly girl, you’re my sister. We also want you to have a better life. Anything you want, as long as I can make it happen, I’ll find it for you.” Qin Xue thought about how this sister of hers was not the stepsister she had in her previous life, so she’s willing to do more for her.

“Mmm, thank you, sister.” Qin Jiale was so excited that she almost jumped for joy. This outcome made her very happy.

“Alright, let’s not talk about that. Now go wash the onion and lettuce. We’ll need them later.” Qin Xue said. They would need them once Chu Molin finished grinding the rice.

“Yes, sis. Do you think we should set aside some for Auntie Wu, as she gave you whelks?” Qin Jiale wanted to give something back to them because they had been so good to their family.

“We didn’t make a lot. Let’s not give some this time. After you’ve tasted it and found it to be delicious, see if you can find some people who catch shrimps in the afternoon. Buy some from them, and we can make more to give away.” Qin Xue explained. She didn’t even know if the dish would taste the same as before. She was just experimenting for now. If it’s delicious, making more wouldn’t be a problem. The difficulty was that there was no machine to grind the rice, they had to manually do it, which was very inconvenient.

“Alright, I’ll do as you say. Where should I go to buy the shrimp?” Qin Jiale knew people often caught shrimp when they went fishing, and there were quite a lot of them.

“You should look for the kids. Take some snacks with you, and ask them to let their families know. If they’re willing, they can sell all their shrimps to us.” Qin Xue thought that even though the shrimp was not the large sea variety, the upside was that it tasted delicious, although it was more work to process.

These are commonly eaten in rural areas, so the appeal isn’t that great for them. Therefore, it should be easy to buy. What the rural families lack now is a source of income. She believed that if the money she offered met their expectations, getting shrimp would be a simple task.

Qin Jiale understood her sister’s intent, which was why she should inform the adults first to avoid any trouble in the future.

“Alright, I’ll get it, sis. Now I’m going to wash the vegetables. Hurry up and steam the sweet potatoes. I want more delicious food.” Qin Jiale thought about how wonderful it was to have her sister at home. She was in food heaven.

“Okay, hurry up. Our parents will be home soon.” said Qin Xue, noting the time. After Chu Molin had finished grinding the rice, he’d gone to pick up their parents. It was about the time they’d be home.

“Xue’er, we’re home.” Qin Xue heard her husband’s voice from the doorway just as she finished speaking.
