All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 143 Racial SegregationBeneath the eggshell, there was another mass of medium slowly swirling.

The mass was murky and chaotic, as if countless colors had been stirred together, indistinguishable from one another. Zhou Zheng could feel that this was the essence of his followers.

The Bloodline of the Snake People, the feathers of the Eagle People, the moon essence of the Jade Rabbit Clan, and the Pheromones of the Nether Ant Clan.

The scales of the Feathered Serpent Beastmen, the colorful long hair of the Elemental Naga, the scales of the Mermen, the wings and scales of the Yao Race, and the metallic texture of the biomechanical suits.

All of it was mixed together, stirred into a single mass.

Never before had a deity bound such a vast variety of followers like Zhou Zheng had.

Initial races: Snake People, Eagle People, Jade Rabbit Clan, Nether Ant Clan.

Evolved races: Feathered Serpent Beastmen, Elemental Naga.

Foreign races: Mermen, Yao Race, biomechanical suits.

These followers each had their own power systems—some relied on the feathered serpent totem, some on faith, some on the essence of the sun and moon, and some on mechanical assistance.

To put it bluntly, they didn’t quite seem like followers from the same divine domain.

Zhou Zheng watched the mass of medium, remaining silent for a long time.

He didn’t know how much time had passed, and then, he had an idea.

He was going to integrate these races.

No, not just integrate. He was going to create a framework—a framework that could contain all these races.

If new races were to join later, they could be directly placed into this framework without seeming out of place.

He closed his eyes, his thoughts shifting slightly.

The mass of medium began to change.

It divided into four parts.

The four masses of medium hovered in the Void Realm, confronting each other. Then, they began to bite and devour one another. One mass would bite off a corner of another, and the other would bite back. They were exchanging their bodies, exchanging their Bloodlines, and exchanging their essences.

But Zhou Zheng did not intervene. He just watched and waited.

Finally, the four masses of medium ceased their struggle. They quieted down, each having transformed into the form Zhou Zheng desired.

The first mass of medium slowly drifted toward the East Continent.

It paused for a moment above the grasslands before descending to the ground. The moment it landed, it transformed into a gigantic eggshell, translucent, with something vaguely visible moving inside.

The eggshell cracked open.

A man and a woman walked out from the eggshell.

They had no scales, no feathers, and no fur. Their skin was smooth, their features well-defined, and their limbs slender. They stood on the grasslands, raised their heads, and looked at the sun in the sky, their eyes filled with curiosity.

[Humans].

Not Snake People, not Eagle People, not Mermen, not Beastmen.

Just simple humans.

They were one of the initial races on this continent.

The second mass of medium drifted toward the South Continent.

It landed on the beach by the bay, also transforming into an eggshell. But this eggshell was much larger than the one on the East Continent, as large as a small hill.

When the eggshell cracked open, the entire South Continent trembled.

Two behemoths soared into the sky from the eggshell.

One was a Feathered Serpent. Its cyan-gold scales shimmered in the sunlight, and its wings spread out to blot out the sky, majestic and sacred.

The other was a Kunpeng. Half fish, half bird, a form between the two, ancient and mysterious.

They let out high-pitched cries, circling and chasing each other in the sky. The cries pierced through the clouds, spreading throughout the entire divine domain.

More importantly, their eyes were filled with wisdom. This was the second initial race in the divine domain—[Yao].

The third mass of medium split into two pieces.

One piece drifted toward the North Continent, landing in the icy, snowy wilderness. The other drifted toward the West Continent, landing among the towering mountains.

Both eggshells landed at the same time.

But they did not hatch.

Zhou Zheng looked at the eggshell on the North Continent. Through the translucent shell, he could see a figure inside. The figure looked very much like a human, but its entire body was made of jade—lustrous white, warm and smooth, emitting a faint light in the icy, snowy environment.

He then looked at the eggshell on the West Continent. The figure inside also looked like a human, but its entire body was made of metal—dull, hard, as if it were a statue.

They did not move.

They did not open their eyes. They did not breathe. They had no aura of Life.

But they were indeed alive. It was just that... they could only sleep.

This was [Spirit].

They needed to attach themselves to humans or Yao to awaken and exist. Otherwise, they could only sleep forever or perish.

Three initial races.

Humans, Yao, Spirits.

He possessed the quota for two major initial races. The Water Moon God possessed the quota for one major initial race. Added together, that made exactly three.

The three major initial races were thus ready.

Zhou Zheng watched all of this and nodded.

But the changes had not yet ended.

The fourth mass of medium drifted in the Void Realm, not descending toward any continent.

It was the murkiest, most chaotic mass. It was the filth stripped away from the other three masses of medium, the dregs expelled during the integration process.

Zhou Zheng had originally intended to completely erase it.

But he suddenly felt that his connection to this thing could not be erased.

It was born from his followers and originated from his Bloodline. It could be suppressed and imprisoned, but it could not be completely destroyed.

Then let it exist.

Zhou Zheng’s thoughts shifted.

The mass of medium exploded like fireworks, turning into countless fragments that scattered to every corner of the divine domain—the depths of the East Continent’s grasslands, the edges of the South Continent’s bays, beneath the North Continent’s ice sheets, inside the West Continent’s mines, and the vast depths of the ocean.

The fragments landed, transforming into strange entities.

Some looked like twisted shadows, some like broken dolls, some like crying faces, and some like extra limbs. Each one made anyone who glanced at them feel disgusted, twisted, and uncomfortable.

They were not Zhou Zheng’s followers.

They would not worship him, would not pray to him, and would not provide him with any power.

But they also originated from him.

They could not be destroyed, could not be purified, and could not be completely expelled.

They were the natural disasters of this divine domain.

They were also the last race in the divine domain—[Anomaly].
