All Gods: Starting with Two Families

Chapter 111 The False MoonFeeling threads of faith, faint yet incredibly firm, connecting to him from the village in that eerie Plane across the Void Realm, a satisfied arc curled at the corner of Zhou Zheng’s mouth.

Deep within his Divine Realm, at the bottom of the ocean, the prison transformed from the artifact [call of the death god] was operating silently.

Countless suppressed and bound anomalies struggled under the chains; their power was ruthlessly siphoned and purified by the artifact, eventually transforming into [Soul Fragments] shimmering with a dark luster!

This was exactly Zhou Zheng’s core objective for venturing into this eerie Plane!

On the first night, when the Elemental Naga killed the Bone Marionette, Zhou Zheng discovered that the artifact ”call of the death god” had actually dragged it into the Divine Realm and analyzed it into Soul Fragments!

Coupled with the perception that no powerful anomalies capable of threatening him existed in this area, Zhou Zheng dared to let the Elemental Naga act so brazenly and high-profile, giving them free rein to battle.

In passing, he could also harvest a batch of potential believers!

Extreme fear of anomalies had long been deeply rooted in the minds of these villagers.

That anomalies could not be eliminated was also a truth in their hearts.

Therefore, when they saw with their own eyes an existence that could frontally suppress or even devour anomalies, their pent-up fear instantly transformed into the purest and most fanatical faith!

Moreover, Zhou Zheng had specifically instructed the Nether Soldier Ants to prioritize eliminating those die-hard fanatics most devoted to the so-called ”Moon God” while they were playing the role of ”anomalies.”

Driven by the Old Rabbit Person’s lead and their survival instincts, the remaining villagers quickly converted their faith en masse.

And the ”Moon God” they had worshipped for generations finally couldn’t sit still after being abandoned by the believers one after another.

A thought containing intense fury awakened from the depths of the water well, descending abruptly with a cold pressure!

The Elemental Naga and the Old Rabbit People could not see it, but within Zhou Zheng’s Divine Thought perception, a massive water mirror emerged out of thin air above the village!

The mirror’s surface rippled, surrounded by twelve phantoms of the moon that constantly waxed, waned, and changed, emitting a soul-bewildering aura.

Zhou Zheng gave a cold snort. ”Just a pseudo-god who doesn’t even count as a Reserve Deity!”

He immediately expended a large amount of Divine Power, forcibly crushing a sliver of majestic Divine Might containing the Feathered Serpent and Death Law through the crack!

That ”Moon God’s” power had already been greatly diminished by the sudden desertion of its believers; now, struck by this Divine Might that far exceeded its own power, the massive water mirror in the sky trembled violently.

With a ”crack,” several clear fissures even split across the mirror’s surface!

”I... am willing to submit!” a thought filled with terror hurriedly transmitted, while simultaneously taking the initiative to drop all its defenses, signaling complete obedience.

”Tactful, indeed,” Zhou Zheng said indifferently.

A Cyan-gold Mark, condensed with Feathered Serpent Divine Power, shot through the air and was precisely branded into the center of the cracked water mirror.

The Feathered Serpent on the mark slithered like a living creature, its serpentine body coiling around and actually linking and binding the twelve moon phantoms one by one.

At the same time, all memories and the essence of this ”Moon God” were obtained by Zhou Zheng without reservation.

It was originally an ancient water well in the village; because the villagers had made wishes and poured out their hearts there for many years, it had accumulated a large amount of Power Of Will.

When it birthed intelligence due to the Plane’s rules, it should have fallen into an anomaly, but because of the villagers’ continuous ”faith,” it unexpectedly maintained a sliver of clarity and reason.

Its essence was a powerful anomaly that had reached level 9!

However, benefiting from the nourishment of this Plane’s special rules and the unique influence of the Power Of Will, if it underwent millions of years of evolution, it might actually have a slim chance of transforming into a true deity in control of the rules related to this place!

The birth of such an existence could be called one in a billion!

”Perhaps... I could nurture it into my Subordinate God?” a thought flashed through Zhou Zheng’s mind.

However, Zhou Zheng’s business in this Plane was not yet finished, and the number of Soul Fragments collected was still far from the target.

But with the guidance and memories of this ”Water Moon God,” he clearly knew where to send his followers next to ”harvest” most efficiently.
