I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

87: Escape! A dead end!The Pig-Headed Man’s Adam’s apple bobbed as it swallowed the last segment of intestine whole, thick, bloody saliva dripping down its tusks.

Its small, murky eyes locked onto Sato Ryuichi and his three companions, its mouth curling into a grin filled with cruelty and hunger.

It took a heavy step, causing the ground to tremble slightly. The blood-stained giant axe in its hand began to swing slowly, carrying the suffocating sound of death.

”Watch out!!” Sato Ryuichi’s roar exploded like a warning bell!

Upon hearing this, Ja-Ya, Ka-Lizard, and Kageyaiba whipped their heads around, only to be horrified to discover the massive figure approaching like the Grim Reaper!

However, it was too late!

The Pig-Headed Man appeared bloated and clumsy, but its explosive power was terrifyingly extreme!

Its thick legs suddenly kicked off the ground, causing the earth beneath its feet to crack instantly.

Its entire massive body transformed into a violent afterimage, rushing straight at the four of them with astonishing speed that completely defied its size, accompanied by a foul, fishy wind.

The giant axe blade sliced through the air, emitting a shriek like a ghost’s wail, and slashed horizontally at Sato Ryuichi, who was charging in the front!

The power of this axe swing seemed capable of slicing everything in front of it in two!

The speed was too fast! It was so fast that Ja-Ya, Ka-Lizard, and Kageyaiba only saw a blur before the lethal axe blade was already right in front of Sato Ryuichi!

”Clang—!!!” Sato Ryuichi’s eyes were wide with rage as he pushed the genetic power of the ”Swift Flying Rabbit” to its limit, gripping the Katana with both hands and blocking with all his might from bottom to top!

Sparks exploded everywhere! The shrill sound of metal clashing nearly tore their eardrums apart!

An indescribable, massive force, like a mountain flood or a tsunami, surged from the axe blade.

Sato Ryuichi felt as if he had been hit head-on by a speeding heavy truck; the web of his hand instantly split open, dripping with blood.

The bones in his arms made a teeth-grinding ”creak” sound, as if they would shatter into pieces at any moment! His chest felt tight, and a sweet taste rose in his throat.

He spat out a mouthful of blood, his entire body knocked backward like a kite with a broken string, his feet plowing two deep furrows into the ground!

But in this instant of life and death, a glint of ruthlessness flashed in Sato Ryuichi’s eyes.

Using the momentum of his retreat, he did not withdraw his blade; instead, he used his injured arms to tightly lock onto the axe handle that was pressing down on his Katana.

The immense force nearly crushed his arms, but relying on stubborn willpower and leverage, he managed to briefly lock the Pig-Headed Man’s giant axe!

”Now!!! Attack!!!” he roared hoarsely, blood continuously spilling from his mouth!

”captain!” ”Bastard!” Although Ja-Ya, Ka-Lizard, and Kageyaiba were horrified by the Pig-Headed Man’s terrifying strength, their combat instincts allowed them to act without the slightest hesitation.

The three of them were like three sharp arrows, lunging simultaneously from three different directions, launching their strongest attacks!

Ja-Ya’s fist, coated in corrosive venom, slammed toward the Pig-Headed Man’s flank.

Ka-Lizard’s scorching breath aimed for its thick neck! Kageyaiba’s shuriken shot toward its murky eyes like a rainstorm!

However— ”Bang, bang, bang! Hiss, hiss, hiss!”

Attacks that were enough to severely wound or even kill the insect monsters from before landed on the Pig-Headed Man’s body, which was covered in thick fat and tough fur. They only left a few shallow white marks or insignificant scorch marks!

Kageyaiba’s precise shuriken were easily deflected by the Pig-Headed Man with a casual flick of its head, using its hard tusks and skull! It could not break through its defense at all!

”Roar—!!!” The Pig-Headed Man was clearly thoroughly enraged by the provocation of these few ”ants”! Its murky eyes instantly filled with bloodshot veins!

An even more violent power erupted from within its body! It violently twisted its wrist, and the giant axe that had been temporarily locked by Sato Ryuichi unleashed a terrifying force, forcefully sending Sato Ryuichi, along with his Katana, flying away!

Immediately afterward, without even looking, it swung back with a heavy, powerful horizontal slash, the giant axe carving a deadly fan-shaped arc!

Kageyaiba, bearing the brunt of the attack, did not even have time to make any effective evasive maneuvers; it only had time to cross the shuriken in its hands in front of it to block—

”Squelch—!!!” The giant axe, like a hot knife through butter, easily sliced it, along with the shuriken it used to block, into two halves.

Blood and internal organs splattered out like a torrential rain!

”Kageyaiba!!!” Ja-Ya and Ka-Lizard let out mournful roars.

Meanwhile, Sato Ryuichi, who had been sent flying, was spewing blood in mid-air, but a cold glint of successful calculation flashed in his eyes.

He had long expected that the three of them’s attacks would be ineffective. The opportunity he had created by risking serious injury was not for a counterattack, but rather—

”Thud!” His body slammed heavily onto the ground nearly a hundred meters behind the Pig-Headed Man, rolling several more times.

But the moment he landed, enduring the excruciating pain of his bones feeling like they were falling apart and the roiling sensation of his internal organs shifting, he used the massive force from the Pig-Headed Man’s blow and the impact of landing to violently kick off the ground with his legs!

”Whoosh—!” He did not hesitate for a second, nor did he look at the tragically dead Kageyaiba, but instead pushed the speed of the ”Swift Flying Rabbit” to its limit. He bolted away for his life in the opposite direction of the Pig-Headed Man without looking back!

Sato Ryuichi’s figure vanished behind the broken walls and ruins like a ghost, his speed so fast that only a blurry trail remained.

In the original spot, only Ja-Ya and Ka-Lizard remained.

The two watched helplessly as their captain escaped without a moment’s hesitation, leaving them behind in this desperate situation like discarded pawns, and an icy chill instantly shot from the soles of their feet to the tops of their heads.

The momentary shock and the grief of their teammate’s tragic death were quickly swallowed by a tremendous anger and despair at being completely betrayed and reduced to sacrificial lambs.

”Baka (Bastard)!!!” ”He sold us out!!!” Ja-Ya and Ka-Lizard squeezed this hateful curse through their teeth almost simultaneously.

Locking eyes, they instantly understood the cold-blooded plan Sato Ryuichi had formulated from the moment he saw the Pig-Headed Man.

Using the lives of the three of them as bait and a stumbling block to delay this terrifying existence that was impossible to fight, creating that short but crucial opportunity for his own escape!

How ruthless! What a calculation!

However, the realization had come too late. They did not even have time to be angry!

Behind them, from the direction of the hatchery they had temporarily shaken off, chilling roars and crawling sounds were approaching from afar, surging again like a tide of death.

Those monsters that had been temporarily blocked by the flames had caught up!

And a more lethal threat was right in front of them!

”Crunch... creak... gulp...” The hair-raising sound of chewing clearly reached their ears.

That Pig-Headed Man did not seem very interested in the fleeing Sato Ryuichi, or perhaps, it enjoyed the ”food” within its reach more.

With its tall body turned away from the direction the pursuers were coming from, it squatted on the ground as if no one else was around, using its filthy, giant claw to grab Kageyaiba’s still-warm, bisected corpse and stuff it into its bloody maw, its tusks easily crushing the bones and making a sound that made one’s scalp tingle.

Blood and bits of flesh constantly spilled from the corners of its mouth, and in its murky little eyes, there was only the most primitive and greedy satisfaction for flesh and blood.

It blocked their only path, the same path Sato Ryuichi had just escaped through.

Ahead was an unconquerable man-eating giant monster, and behind was a swarming tide of mutations.

Ja-Ya and Ka-Lizard stood back-to-back, clearly feeling each other’s trembling bodies and that bone-chilling despair.

The wounds on Ja-Ya’s mutated skin burned with pain, and the energy in Ka-Lizard’s body for producing flames was nearly exhausted.

They watched the terrifying scene of the Pig-Headed Man chewing on their companion’s corpse, looked at its bloated body that seemed capable of withstanding any attack, and listened to the monster roars getting closer and closer from behind...

It was over. This time, there was truly no way to escape.

A miserable, twisted smile appeared on Ja-Ya’s face, and he said hoarsely, ”Ino... it seems we are going to be... treated as a side dish to satisfy its hunger here.”

The light on Ka-Lizard’s crimson arms flickered uncertainly. He stared fixedly at the Pig-Headed Man and let out a low, beast-like growl from deep in his throat: ”Even if we die... we have to knock out a few of its teeth! We can’t let it eat so comfortably!”

A final madness and determination flashed in both their eyes as they squeezed out the last bit of strength in their bodies, preparing to launch an attack that was doomed to be futile.

As for the Pig-Headed Man, it seemed to finally be satisfied with Kageyaiba as an ”appetizer,” and it slowly raised its head. Its tusks, stained with blood and flesh, aimed at the remaining two ”main courses,” and it let out a low, appetizing grunt as the giant axe was lifted once again.
