I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

54: The Holy Arbiter! The King of Ashes!Shan Shang used his last ounce of strength, propping up his charred body with his broken arms, staring fixedly at the young man who had suddenly appeared like the Grim Reaper. His voice was hoarse and filled with indignation: ”You... who exactly are you?!”

Not far away, Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong also suppressed the shock and wariness in their hearts, focusing their gaze on Wang Jin.

Yu Qingkong looked at the black giant scythe in Wang Jin’s hand, which emanated an ominous aura, and murmured, ”Such powerful strength... Although that wanu was severely injured, he still had some power left, yet... he was defeated in a single exchange...”

Zhang Ji’s mind was in turmoil: ”Clean and decisive moves, without the slightest hesitation... This fighting style is definitely not that of an ordinary person! Is he friend or foe?”

Wang Jin heard Shan Shang’s question, and a disdainful, cold smile curved his lips.

He slowly walked towards the dying Shan Shang, each step seemingly treading on the other’s heart, bringing a suffocating pressure.

”It doesn’t matter if I tell you...” Wang Jin’s voice was calm, yet carried a condescending indifference, ”Remember this, the one sending you to hell is—The Dome, Sanctuary Zero, Holy Arbiter, Wang Jin.”

”The Dome... Sanctuary Zero...?” Shan Shang’s pupils constricted, as if trying to search his memory for this unfamiliar name, his face filled with confusion and alarm.

However, his thoughts were forever frozen at this moment.

Before Wang Jin’s words had even finished, the black giant scythe in his hand had already transformed into a shadow of death, silently slashing across!

”Chh—”

With a soft sound, Yamamoto’s head flew off. There was no gushing blood from the severed neck; all vitality was instantly annihilated by the dark-gold energy attached to the giant scythe.

The head flying in mid-air still had an expression of extreme astonishment and incomprehension frozen on its face, its lips unconsciously moving, as if still wanting to repeat those six words: ”The Dome... Sanctuary... Zero...”

Finally, the head landed heavily, rolled a few times, and all spirit completely dissipated, turning into dead silence.

Wang Jin didn’t even look at the corpse on the ground, flicking off non-existent blood drops from the giant scythe with a backhand. His gaze once again turned towards the depths of the building where the pillar of light soared, the hunting desire in his Punishment Eye growing even more intense.

Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong watched this scene, their backs drenched in cold sweat.

This ”Holy Arbiter” who claimed to be from ”The Dome, Sanctuary Zero,” with his ruthless methods and unfathomable strength, sent shivers down their spines like never before.

Wang Jin slowly turned around, his dark-gold pupils calmly fixed on Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong, who were on high alert. This sudden gaze instantly tensed their nerves, as if they were being targeted by a fierce beast!

”Buzz—” Yu Qingkong’s arm weapons instantly transformed. Two high-frequency energy blades emitted a dangerous hum, pointing directly at Wang Jin. She sharply demanded, ”What do you want to do?!”

Zhang Ji also endured his pain, gripping his electric blade again, his eyes sharply fixed on Wang Jin, his entire body poised to strike. They were unsure what this terrifyingly strong, ambiguous ”Holy Arbiter” would do next.

Wang Jin watched their tense standoff, a complex, hard-to-read smile slowly appearing on his face. The smile contained both a human warmth and a hint of almost inhuman tranquility and detachment, belonging to a higher-dimensional being.

”Relax, two investigators.” His voice was calm, yet carried a peculiar penetrative power, as if it no longer relied solely on vocal cord vibrations, but directly resonated with the listener’s consciousness.

”Generally speaking, our Sanctuary Zero...” He paused slightly, ”...still holds goodwill towards human civilization.”

He deliberately emphasized the words ”human civilization.” This was not merely simple emphasis, but more like an individual who was re-cognizing and re-defining his own belonging, with a hint of scrutiny and retrospection.

After gaining the power bestowed by the lord, his old body and cognition were being reshaped and replaced by divine power. He had embarked on a path away from pure humanity, moving towards an unknown form.

This ”goodwill” might stem from the lingering warmth of his humanity deep within his heart, or it might already be based on a perspective and consideration that transcended the mundane, almost divine.

Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong exchanged glances, their eyes filled with surprise and uncertainty. They couldn’t judge the truthfulness of Wang Jin’s words, but their forces were severely depleted, and they indeed lacked the capital to confront him head-on.

Zhang Ji took a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm as he asked, ”You... or rather, your ’Sanctuary Zero,’ what is your purpose for being here?” As he spoke, his gaze cautiously swept around, unsure if this mysterious organization had other members lurking nearby.

Upon hearing this, Wang Jin’s lips curved into a cold arc. He raised his hand and pointed at the three buildings where the pillars of light grew increasingly dazzling and the roars grew louder. His tone was calm but carried an undeniable killing intent:

”Naturally, to... clean up the trash.”

Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong instantly understood what the so-called ”trash” referred to—it was the Monkey God Sect entrenched here, and the three so-called ”deities” who were about to descend and bring endless disaster!

”You... are going to deal with those ’gods’?” Yu Qingkong couldn’t help but confirm, her voice tinged with disbelief.

”Gods?” Wang Jin scoffed, a flicker of disdain in his Punishment Eye. In his heart, only the omnipotent lord of the heavens was a true god; as for the others?

Before his words finished, the ground shook violently again! More monsters roared out from the depths of the ruins, interspersed with some mutated humans clearly controlled by the Monkey God Sect. Their eyes glowed with fanatical green light as they charged in a suicidal frenzy.

”Damn it! How many remnants of the Monkey God Sect are there?!” Zhang Ji spat out a mouthful of blood, forcing himself to raise his electric blade again.

Wang Jin’s gaze, however, bypassed the miscellaneous soldiers and locked onto the rear of the monster horde—an unusually massive red-furred ape was swinging through the remaining building frames with astonishing speed!

The red ape was over three meters tall, its body covered in bulging muscles and dark-red fur, its eyes glinting with savage ferocity.

It landed heavily on the ruins, kicking up a cloud of dust.

It first glanced at the shattered corpses of Ishishita and Shan Shang on the ground, its brow (if it could be called a brow) furrowing tightly, then cast its oppressive gaze towards Zhang Ji and Yu Qingkong, finally settling on Wang Jin.

”Ishishita and the others... you killed them, didn’t you?” The red ape actually spoke human words, its voice deep and hoarse, with a strong Japanese accent.

Wang Jin casually swung his giant scythe, a dark-gold arc flashed, and a dozen monsters at the very front were instantly cut in half.

He flicked his scythe, looked at the red ape, and a provocative smirk curved his lips: ”It was indeed your grandpa who did it. What? Another wanu coming to die?”

The word ”wanu” was like lighting a powder keg! The red ape (Watanabe Ryota)’s eyes instantly turned crimson, letting out a deafening roar: ”Baka yarou! Lowly Zhina-ren! I’ll tear you to shreds!!”

Its massive body erupted with terrifying speed disproportionate to its size, charging towards Wang Jin like a crimson cannonball! Wherever it passed, deep cracks appeared in the ground, and any monsters in its path were directly crushed into meat paste!

”Good!” Wang Jin’s eyes burned with battle intent, his Punishment Eye spinning rapidly, accurately predicting the red ape’s trajectory.

Instead of retreating, he actively met the charge, his black giant scythe trailing behind him, its blade carving dazzling sparks on the ground!

”Boom—!!!”

The two figures, one large and one small, collided violently! The shockwave exploded in a ring, instantly clearing out the surrounding monsters and rubble!

The giant scythe and the red ape’s massive, keratin-covered fist crashed together! The deafening clang of metal against metal made their eardrums ache!

The ground beneath Wang Jin’s feet cracked inch by inch, but he actually withstood the ferocious impact!

”Quite strong, wanu!” Wang Jin sneered, flicking his wrist. The giant scythe cleverly deflected the force, then he followed up with an upward slash, aiming directly for the red ape’s jaw!

The red ape reacted extremely quickly, blocking with its other arm, and at the same time, opened its gaping maw, spewing a scorching stream of magma breath that instantly engulfed Wang Jin!
