Online Games: Billions Spent on In-app Purchases, Archery Becomes a God

Golden Elixir! Golden Overlord Spear! Golden Silk Robe! Golden Equipment on Sale!”Ding! For 100,000 gold coins, the quality of the golden light sword can be upgraded to dark gold grade. Do you want to upgrade?”

”No!”

Ye Xingyu decisively clicked reject.

He wasn’t crazy.

Why spend money to upgrade a weapon he couldn’t use?

To help his enemies become stronger?

Ye Xingyu had already figured it out.

His SSS Talent could only be used for himself.

It couldn’t be used to help others upgrade equipment.

Although if he upgraded the quality of the ”golden light sword”...

It would most likely significantly increase its selling price.

But because of that...

It would allow other players to quickly obtain extremely high-quality equipment.

This was something...

Ye Xingyu definitely didn’t want to see right now.

He would rather earn a little less money...

Than to benefit others.

Unless...

It was for his absolute allies.

Otherwise...

It was best to use this Talent sparingly.

Ye Xingyu put the golden light sword into his backpack.

Then he came to the wild Gold Treasure Chest.

”Finally, it’s time to open the treasure chest!”

He rubbed his hands excitedly (✪ω✪).

”I wonder what will come out?”

”Ding! Opening the wild treasure chest! Countdown 10 seconds!”

10 / 9 / 8... Time quickly passed.

”Clang!”

The treasure chest opened!

Inside lay a golden robe and 5 round bottles of elixir!

Even the liquid in the round bottles was completely golden! The appearance was very beautiful!

”superior blessing elixir:”,

Type: One-time consumable.

Quality: gold-grade.

Effect: After consumption, HP and MP immediately restore 70% of their maximum values.

At the same time, all four attributes +100 for 24 hours. The effect disappears after the duration ends... ”Whoosh!”

This was a gold-grade medicine!

Immediately restoring 70% of HP and MP after use could save one from a dying state.

It could be said to be an excellent life-saving medicine!

There was also a powerful buff of +100 to all four attributes for 24 hours.

It was perfectly suited for fighting bosses or for sustained battles!

”Good stuff!”

Ye Xingyu said happily.

In deep space, various potion-type consumables were by no means useless.

When other conditions like level, equipment, skills, etc., were all similar...

Sometimes...

A high-grade potion could decide the outcome of a battle.

That was absolutely no joke.

Many guild leaders and bosses... these kinds of important figures...

Would be willing to spend huge amounts of gold coins for top-tier medicines.

This had already been verified.

Ye Xingyu put away the ”superior blessing elixir.”

He carefully placed them in a slot in his inventory.

Never underestimate one-time consumables.

Next was that golden robe!

”golden gauze robe!”

Additional Effect:

Magic regeneration speed increased by 18%

Additional Skill ”Golden Sting”:

Passive, when any skill hits a target, an additional 25% of magic attack power in gold elemental damage is added... ”Hiss!”

This golden gauze robe was also a top-tier gold-grade robe for mage-type professions!

The skill ”Golden Sting” attached to the equipment could greatly enhance the player’s damage.

It was definitely loved by most mage players!

”Good stuff!”

Speaking of which...

Almost all the gold artifacts Ye Xingyu had opened so far were top-tier equipment with good attributes.

Perhaps this was the value of gold-grade items, ah hahaha~

After putting away the golden gauze robe as before...

Ye Xingyu suddenly took out a special treasure chest from his backpack—the Gold Weapon Random Draw Treasure Chest.

This was a reward obtained earlier for eliminating the server’s first Gold Boss—triggering a world announcement.

Originally, he had thought of waiting until level 20...

Before drawing a weapon.

But now...

He couldn’t resist opening it early~

”Ding! The Gold Weapon Random Draw Treasure Chest is opening!”

”Swish!”

The treasure chest disappeared!

A golden spear suddenly emerged from where it disappeared!

Ye Xingyu reflexively gripped it in his palm.

”golden overlord spear!”

Type: Weapon - Spear

Quality: Gold

Level Requirement: 20

Attributes:

Physical Attack: 581 ~ 598

Strength +35

User’s Attack Speed increased by 32%

Hit Rate +10%

Additional Effect:

Basic Physical Attack increased by 15%!

When attacking continuously, stack ”Overlord’s Aura” for the golden overlord spear!

Area-of-effect skills stack 3 layers of Overlord’s Aura each time.

During each stacking process, if the interruption exceeds 3 seconds, the Overlord’s Aura layers reset to zero.

Each layer of Overlord’s Aura increases 2 Physical Attack, 2 Physical Critical Rate, and 2 Attack Speed.

When Overlord’s Aura stacks to 10 layers, Basic Physical Attack +20%! Physical Critical Rate +30%! Attack Speed +25%! And gain the exclusive skill — Soul Slasher!

Soul Slasher: Damage amplification of 30% against opponents 1 level or more below oneself!

Instantly kills targets 10 levels or more below oneself!

... ”Whoosh!”

”golden overlord spear!”

”A high-output weapon that can stack for bursts!”

”Absolutely good stuff!”

”Any spearman would definitely love it!”

”If this spear could be exchanged for a longbow and upgraded to dark gold grade, it would be an instant kill!”

”Too bad it can’t be exchanged.”

Ye Xingyu said with a slight regret.

As of today...

He had already collected 7 gold-grade equipment, including the golden overlord spear, golden gauze robe, golden light sword, emeralds wish, Strength of the Bear, and more!

It had to be said that the double drop rate from the event dungeon was exceptionally powerful!

Presumably, after the event completely ended...

He would be able to possess even more gold-grade equipment!

By this point...

Ye Xingyu gradually had the idea of holding an auction!

He felt it should be scheduled right after the dungeon event ended!

Immediately hold a grand auction!

To centrally auction off so much unused gold-grade equipment!

He believed the effect would definitely be very good!

After all, Ye Xingyu alone couldn’t use all the gold-grade equipment.

At this time...

It was the perfect opportunity to sell them for a high price!

Because most players actually didn’t have gold-grade equipment yet.

And they really wanted them!

After temporarily keeping this thought in his mind...

Ye Xingyu continued his journey.

In the next 10-odd hours...

Ye Xingyu continuously encountered and farmed monsters.

And he encountered the third wave of Thorn Calamity Ghost’s pursuit!

”Jie jie jie jie jie jie jie jie!!!”

... The dungeon map shrunk for the third time!

The movement speed of the third stage Thorn Calamity Ghost increased by another 50.

Reaching a high-speed mode of 300 points!

Clearly...

All players participating in the event once again underwent a strong baptism.

A batch of players with slow movement speed were severely eliminated!
